  1. Interesting.. if he’s not coming here, I don’t mind him going to the nuclear arms race of the AFC West. Dude doesn’t care about winning though. That team isn’t going anywhere there. Nice book ends though with Jones and Crosby.
  2. His name is ridiculous. Initials, two capital letters in the last name. FOH… way too much going on.
  3. Welp.. now I can convince myself he was too slow anyway and didn't give us the speed we need to add to the Offense.
  4. Trading for Danielle Hunter does seem like much more of a Brandon Beane move than signing Chandler Jones. If it takes our 1st Round Pick, that certainly makes roster building more difficult, but a long term locked up 27 year old premier pass rusher seems to be more along the lines of what he'd want over a 32 year old premier pass rusher on a 2-3 year contract.
  5. I don't know about signing Wagner, but if we do sign Jones or trade for Hunter, I honestly don't know how we can keep Edmunds. I'm sure we will because the Bills can't quit him, but just from a cap perspective... We have big money tied up in Allen, Diggs, Tre, Dawkins etc.. Next year we will have to tie big money up in Oliver and Knox. If we also have big money tied up in an EDGE, where/how are we paying Edmunds? Just logically speaking.. Where there's a will, there's a way, but I'd hate to lose him for nothing if we don't/can't re-sign him.
  6. Bills PR clearly knows the implication of the "eyeball" emoji in Free Agency.. Trolling or Foreshadowing?...
  7. Agree. I think we get a legitimate inside/outside WR that can stretch the field to add to Diggs/Davis - Likely in the Draft. Essentially a 3-wide where all 3 can lineup anywhere. McKissic will be a big part of the passing offense, both out of the backfield and motioned to the slot. McKenzie likely has a bigger role as WR4, but is still primarily the gadget/jet-sweep/part-time slot.
  8. I don't disagree. If a Kenyon Green, Trevor Penning, Jameson Williams is there at 25, but we go CB because it's a glaring hole, I wouldn't love it... However, current mock drafts have someone like Andrew Booth to us at 25. That very well may be BPA there and gives us a cost-controlled CB1 type across from Tre. I generally agree with you though. Simply pointing out that CB may actually be BPA in the 1st and WR seems like a great value pick in RD2 this year.
  9. Cody Ford was good in college. He has talent. It clearly hasn't translated so far, but with Kromer in the mix, I have zero issue keeping him around on his rookie contract to provide depth and be put back into the mix to challenge for the RG spot. We do need to make sure we continue to invest in OL however. Every QB is better with time, but Josh Allen becomes borderline unstoppable. Dawkins-Saffold-Morse is 3/5 of a potentially great line. The rest of our line is potential and question marks however... Brown flashed, but can he make the jump? Not sure what we're doing with Bates as he hasn't even been tendered yet. Doyle was good in the Jumbo TE role, but can he be a legitimate swing tackle? Then there's Cody Ford. That's what we're looking at currently.
  10. Based on early draft projections, it's not wild to think that BPA won't be too far off with CB at 25, WR at 57 and then I could see them moving around in the 3rd/back into the 2nd to get whoever they really like there. CB/WR are definitely positions we should be drafting given how much we pay Tre, Diggs and will be paying Knox/Davis.
  11. As I see it now: RD1 - CB RD2 - WR RD3 - IOL
  12. I tend to push back on those who say the cap is fake... eventually a bill comes due. That being said, it is kind of funny how everyone talks about the Saints being an unmitigated cap disaster - yet somehow - they are the leader for Watson, with a reported offer of 3 - 1's plus other assets. On the other hand, the Falcons would likely be the favorite for Watson if they weren't in cap jail and the Giants have a terrible team but somehow no cap space to try and get better.
  13. I've thought about this too... but it seems everyone is doing this now. Also, we don't have any one with a massive dead cap hit down the line.... these are all 1M here, 1M there. It adds up, but with the cap going up - and Beane's philosophy of not mortgaging the future, I'm not too worried about it.
  14. Could be, but restructuring Hyde, restructuring Milano (as reported) and the likely cut of Beasley today frees up a decent bit of space.
  15. From where I stand, this FA period seems to be setting up for RD1 CB & RD2 WR Fwiw, there’s a decent chance that aligns pretty closely with BPA. However, if a guy slips, we seem to be boxing ourselves in to needing an early CB and WR. (Which I’m fine with) Only thing that could definitely throw a wrench into this would be a Danielle Hunter trade, as that’s likely sending our Pick 25 to Minnesota.
  16. Baker once said about Duke Johnson requesting a trade out of Cleveland.. “You’re either on this train or not” Duke Johnson:
  17. More than 4.. They turned down Indy, and who knows what other teams would get involved if Houston wasn’t asking teams to make it rain draft picks on them.
  18. As I watch the First Four, I couldn’t help but see what Cleveland fans are saying.. “This entire situation is turning into a dark, dark day for this fanbase. From where I sit, our owner went back to his meddling ways, the Browns got absolutely PLAYED thinking they had a chance.. a chance to what you ask? Bring in a sexual predator!”
  19. If the reports are true, and Watson has no interest in Cleveland, this is sociopathic behavior by the Browns towards Baker.
  20. Browns / Colts Corporate wants you to find the difference between these two teams. “They’re the same team”
  21. Ngl… starting to feel bad for Baker. Cleveland is basically in an open relationship with him at this point.
  22. I like that Houston made everyone present acceptable trade proposals to them before granting permission to speak to Watson. Like peasants asking a favor of the Queen. Last time anyone will care about them for a while. Might as well go all out.
  23. This sounds suspiciously like something a team that was trading for him would say…
  24. We didn’t want him. Clearly. He knows our system but he also needs to be schemed to hide his lack of speed/agility.
  25. Buffalo took a UDFA and made him serviceable opposite Tre. They then took a late round draft pick and made him look serviceable opposite a former UDFA. We have one of the top Safety tandems in the league, along with a good nickel corner. Tre will be back at some point next year, if not the opener. For the life of me, I do not understand any worry about losing Levi Wallace. For all the justifiable hand wringing about our DL, this coaching staff knows how to coach the secondary.
