  1. I'm sure glad we didn't grab Simmons. Would've been awful.
  2. Yes, if only so I can turn down the volume & switch to something else when I'm nervous... I feel like they always do better when I'm not looking, so if we really need a conversation or a 3rd down stop, I'm looking away 😅
  3. C'mon Cowboys... Get your sh*t together! Also, HAHAHAHA Texans! What a blowout!
  4. I'm so annoyed. Couldn't figure out who to replace Kittle with since he's out, came down to a toss up between Diggs & Michael Pittman Jr. Of course Diggs is having a great game today... Still, hilarious Houston is losing, so I'm still happy about that!
  5. I think this is what I predicted in the other thread, and I'm sticking with it. Bills - 34 Jags - 16 Though I just found out today that Allen is 3 - 5 on MNF, so that does have me a bit concerned.
  6. Josh has a 3 - 5 record on MNF? I didn't know that 😬
  7. Despite the beautiful scenery & other things to do, San Diego had a very loyal (and sizeable) fan base. It was purely stadium nonsense. The area could easily support a team & did so successfully for decades. San Antonio could also support a team, but Jerry Jones is a prick & stone-walling things on that front. Completely disagree with the OP about an AFC team in Dallas. It would never happen. Dallas could definitely support 2 x teams, the metro area is massive. There's also a ton of transplants that don't care about the Cowboys at all & would probably enjoy rooting for a non-Cowboys local team. But the Chiefs have too much history in KC, and whether they stay in MO or move across the border to KS, they'll stay local. So if I had to guess which team would move, I'd also guess Chargers. No other team makes any sense. Most other teams are already in a big enough market, recently built (or are about to build) new stadiums, or couldn't find a better option than where they're already at.
  8. It'd be easier to ask me who I don't root against, in which case I can say "the NFC + Titans, Colts, Raiders & Broncos." All of the following should lose every game and I'd be happy! Dolphins Jets Patriots Browns (until Watson is gone) Bengals Steelers Ravens Chiefs Chargers Texans Jaguars
  9. I also think we have the better team. I think this will finally be the one where we put the Jags behind us, but I still wouldn't feel confident betting on the game 😅 Bills - 34 Jags - 16
  10. Bills - 34 Jags - 16 I'm basing this on nothing but pure hope. Just like we lost exorcised the Titans demons on MNF via 41 - 7 blowout (2022), we'll exoricse the Jags demons via blowout on MNF. Either that or Josh Hines-Allen will be a game-wrecker once again & ruin our offense 😅
  11. I wasn't worried about losing to Urban Meyer & the Jags when they were the worst team in the league. Also wasn't worried about many teams over the years, yet the Bills found ways to lose. But you're right, I take every game seriously. I wouldn't say "worried," but I don't casually pencil in wins looking at a schedule. The Bills have shown me they're capable of losing to the worst teams in the league, while also capable of beating the best teams in the league.
  12. I just posted a poll regarding people's belief in Elam. I think he's a bust & won't command any trade value, otherwise they would've unloaded him already.
  13. This team better come out treating this like a revenge game. Remember back when the Titans beat us in back to back years & we were set up to play them early in the season on MNF in 2022? Everyone was worried it'd be another close, tough game (me included). Then the Bills destroyed them 41 - 7. Really hoping we see a repeat of that & put the Jags permanently behind us.
  14. Every time I wear my white Josh Allen jersey, they lose. Not only do they lose, Allen himself plays terrible. I've officially retired it after the MNF loss to the Broncos. Sucks though, as it was my favorite Jersey 😭
  15. That was definitely a beautiful punt. No chance of a return, just perfectly placed inside the 2 & out of bounds!
  16. If Josh had previously suffered multiple concussions this season, or this was the 2nd concussion-like thing in a week's time, I'd sit him. If he only had 1 concussion but it was way earlier in the season, then this non-concussion thingy happened much later, I'd probably play him as long as he wasn't exhibiting after effects. But even if he showed ANY issues like dizziness, loss of memory, migraines, whatever, I'd sit him. Because in that scenario, he's probably not going to be very good in the playoff game anyway, regardless of the stakes. And given the way Josh takes off running & is likely to get hit, he's far more likely to get knocked out of the game anyway. If I think there's any chance a single collision could have him instantly relapse, what's the point of doing that? Better to give my backup (no matter how awful) the reps that week to prepare them, rather than risk ruining the career of my franchise QB. But if it was the first time this had happened, and Josh isn't showing continued issues, I'd also play him.
  17. AND significantly less turnovers than other MVP contending QBs. That being said, I don't think 70% completion percentage & a passer rating of 105+ are something Josh will maintain throughout the season. 2020 was the only year he finished with an above 100 passer rating, just as 2020 was the only time he was close to 70% completions (69.2%). I predict if he could finish right at 100 rating with 67% completions + 4,500 total yards & 40 total TDs, he should be the MVP favorite, unless someone else really takes over with crazy numbers & efficiency (again, like 2020 with Aaron Rodgers). Then again, win total has become a big theme lately, so if the Bills don't finish number 1 or 2 in the AFC, it may not matter anyway.
  18. I've been pretty vocal the last couple years not believing in Elam. But I just saw this Twitter post bragging about how Benford was better than Elam, and how Benford may be a top 3 CB in the league right now. Here's the post - Which has me wonder, how do the biggest Bills homers in the world feel about Elam's position right now? We're all Bills nerds here, so we're bound to be more optimistic than the average person. Do you guys think he's still a great talent that just doesn't fit the scheme? Do you think he'd shine if given more opportunities? Or like me, did you already think last year that he was a bust? And if this is a repeat of some of other old post (since I know we've all talked about Elam a ton), please mods feel free to merge, thanks!

  19. Hell no. I'd rather see Miami in the playoffs than the Bengals. Even at their best, we have Miami's number. The Bengals are a bad match up for the Bills. ******** Also, Chiefs start is more impressive. Don't lie - If the Bills started the season by beating both Lamar Jackson & Joe Burrow, we'd say that's far more impressive than beating Kyler Murray & Tua/Thompson. I don't care about their records. The Bengals & Ravens are better wins than Cardinals & Dolphins.
  20. True, but at the same time I feel like he's never mentioned & almost forgotten. But that could just be me 🤷‍♂️
  21. Well if you went just a BIT further, you'd find Ken Stabler on that list at #42 and Joe Namath at #44, so HAH! Also, I'd say Jalen Hurts is pretty good. Not elite, but good.
  22. Dirk Nowitzki. But aside from Dirk, my favorite unheralded/under-the-radar players would be: - Corey Dillon (never gets enough credit for how good he was) - Zach Thomas (Texas Tech guy, unfortunate he played for the Dolphins) - Chad Pennington (Also from the Jets/Dolphins, dude was extremely smart & could've been great if he stayed healthy - despite the arm strength) And even though he's a Bills player, Terrence McGee. I don't think he gets talked about enough as one of the greats of the Bills drought era, as his best years were fairly early on. But he was great on ST & a very good CB. He holds all the Bills kickoff return records (yards, TDs, longest return, etc.) and even most passes defended.
  23. Does Buffalo still have a lot of unused buildings downtown or nearby? Been a while since I've visited, but I always wondered why they're left to decay & not demolished. I think I read somewhere that some of those structures on the water front area (silos I believe?) are still hanging around because people want it designated a landmark. I know it costs money to demolish buildings, but if they're in super bad shape it would just be nice to clear out & plant some trees if need be 😅
  24. Because I replied to the guy who went off on a tangent about Mike McDaniel's race by just showing a picture of his dad? Weird that you chose ME to quote, not the guy who actually spouted off the hateful nonsense.
  25. That's his father... Sounds like you have some weird issue against bi-racial people.
