Going into his 13th season, not in his prime anymore but can definitely be productive. If anything, he's another good redzone threat & can provide some valuable experience & leadership to the WR corps. Still think we need someone to replace the sheer speed of John Brown, but love the signing.

More like 4th & 30, but definitely not 4th & 15. Seriously, onside kicks are supposed to be extremely rare & extremely difficult to pull off. 4th & 15 would be a hell of a lot easier.

All I can say is I hope not. Brown can be a huge threat on this team as long as he's healthy. You never know who might go down at any given point, and having Diggs, Brown, Beasley & Davis is huge.

True. But can any of those guys say Adam Gase was my coach for 2 years? No? Then Darnold may as well be an undiscovered mystery born yesterday, all the potential (or not) in the world. I'd sooner forgive 2 seasons of Gase over any of the other transgressions lol The Jets are where QB's go to have their potential murdered. Until they escape that hellhole, nobody will ever know their true talent.

Oh well, sucks for them. At this point, all I can say is people can be tired of Brady all they want (I sure as hell am), but until someone can stop him or send his ass into retirement, just have to accept the inevitable boredom. For a freaking QB to now have more rings than Michael Jordan, in a sport that's not supposed to have these types of things happen, is absolutely absurd. I loathe the guy, but there's just nothing to left to say about the guy. He knows how to win, and will simply keep doing it. Really hoping the Bills are the ones that put him out to pasture.

The only thing I want from him is to learn how to block out the noise, ignore the hype, settle in, and ignore the pressure of the moment. Whether it's the implications of the game, trying to live up to the fan praise & expectations, playing in front of a raucous crowd (home or away), or a specific in-game moment, I just hope he can ignore it all. If he can, it'll help him with other areas of his game, including taking some of the worst sacks in all of football. Instead of going down when he's beat or just throwing it away, his mind is still telling him THIS moment right now I have to be the hero! Instead of just knowing a small sack or lost down via incompletion is fine & keeps us in it the next down, he might get driven back 20+ yards trying to stay alive and completely murder a drive. And I feel it's because the implications of the game, the pressure, and all the noise is really absorbed by him. He knows what's at stake, and can't bring himself to let something go. Sometimes it works, but a lot of times it makes him play very unlike himself, and definitely not at his best.

One thing you have to remember about the lines is that Star sat out due to COVID (as well as CB EJ Gaines) and Cody Ford was out due to injury. Get these 2 guys back, and both the lines improve quite a bit. Also, if you think the Bills won't take a RB in the draft, I think you're in for a surprise. I'm almost certain a good one will fall to them (as several good ones fell late last year) and snag one.

And in regards to the topic, playing for 3rd place just sounds weak. If they gave out rings/trophies for 2nd and 3rd, sure. In soccer or sports in the Olympics, there's value to having those awards. In the NFL, they'd have to prop up the idea of Conference Champions more (so whichever team loses the Super Bowl gets more credit), which would essentially be a silver medal. Only then would having a loser's bracket/3rd place game have much meaning. At that point, create a title, award, trophy, ring, whatever, then after some time it'd have meaning & be worth playing. It's gotta have some prestige (and money) behind it. Something a team can slap on a banner & hang it in their stadium.

The NFL has an ass-ton of money, just offer these guys a hell of a lot more, and some kind of additional injury insurance for them + compensation picks for whatever team they belong to in the case said player will miss regular season game time. I'm tired of all-star type games being boring as hell. At least the in the NBA the stupidly high scores make it pretty amusing, and in the last 5 or so minutes they actually try & play defense lol

The one thing you can damn-near count on is that he'll move up in the draft at some point. He might stay put in round 1 & snag a good RB that falls to them, but otherwise I'd think this draft is mainly about getting some size & speed on the DL & LB groups, possibly another CB opposite of Tre.

I mean, he sat on the bench 1 year, then gets his first year as a starter (same year as Josh) and throws for 5,097 yards, 50 TD's, is named the MVP, and was beating the Patriots in the AFCC when he left the field. Since then, won a Super Bowl and lead his team to another. If he starts his first 3 seasons with a 5,000+ yard/50 TD year, MVP selection, Super Bowl win, SB MVP, and ANOTHER SB win...yeah, that is unprecedented. I can think of some pretty great starts to a career, but this is another level. AND the way he does it needs to be remembered. You now see other QB's trying to do no-look passes, passing with their non-throwing arm, back foot/cross body passes to the center of the field, etc. just to see if they can get away with it. Josh can sometimes, but the majority of other QB's couldn't...and not as naturally as Mahomes.

Yeah, it's just sad that because they're going to be so good for so long, Bills fans will start hating him (if they don't already). He already is notorious for being passed on by the Bills, so the more he wins, the more people think "could that have been us?" but to see him have an easy time against the Bills in-game, his success will just turn him into a Tom Brady-like heel to our fans. Being a Texas Tech guy, I've always loved his attitude & watching him play. Talk about a guy who is used to throwing in the wind, it wasn't an issue for him in the insane winds in Lubbock. The thing that makes him really great is you can tell the stage is never too big. He doesn't feel that extra pressure. Not from the fans, the moment, the opponent, the hype, etc. Glad Josh is coming into his own though. Even if he never reaches the same heights, a single Super Bowl win (or even appearance) would mean the world to me & other Bills fans. I'm still hoping it doesn't end up being a Wentz or Goff situation where he's great for a year, then falls back down to earth, but I have to think his work ethic is what will keep him improving instead of falling apart. Josh holds himself to a high standard, which means he will bust his ass to improve. I just hope the one thing he learns from Mahomes is to drown out the hype, the pressure & the moment, and just comfortably play his game.

Would love to keep him, but this LB corps & D-line needs a revamp. Hopefully the draft will focus heavily on that, combined with Star returning (in top form I hope)!
