This time of year for 20 years diehard fans turned mock Gms around Christmas. Thats the why? For now its a great problem to have. Lets get Beasley back healthy. Lets see if Mckenzie can consistently be productive in the offense.
-
And defenders away from his pass catchers. We can go round and round. How many games has Allen lead the team in rushing? Both are great but Allen is the offense for Buffalo.
-
Rodgers has Jones and Dillon.

I know I was talking mainly about the impact of Davis and Mckenzie above. To win it all and do what we all want Buffalo to do, Beasley will need to play a big part in it. I think Beasley/Mckenzie combo in the slot will be killer. Beasley vs the teams that wan to go all zone. Teams want to go man to man Mckenzie will eat. The rut of what to do vs zone? How to attack man? That could be in the rearview imo. Attacking in the slot opens up Diggs.
-
The difference is Mckenzie is a harder match up vs man than Beasley. McKenzie’s speed makes the crossers a impossible cover. Beasley destroys zone but at this stage cant really run away from man coverage. Mckenzie makes the offense more multiple. When Davis is back its 2 fold. Mckenzie gives the threat of the jet and backfield motion and speed to run away from man coverage. Davis is a very good blocker. So Buffalo can do all of their run stuff. He can run past defenders deep and is nasty in Pa. That pass to Kumerow hit Davis on the numbers. I think a combo of Beasley and Mckenzie will be big. Beasley, Sanders, Diggs is similar to Brown, Beasley and Diggs. Seemed teams have an understanding of slowing that down. Davis and Mckenzie provides tougher questions for d.

This year Beasley will be important in January. Get him healthy. This will allow the team to see if Mckenzie can constantly produce in the slot. Its a question to discuss in March imo. Mckenzie would need an impressive month and a half to consider honestly. I think Harry is a leader and he continues his play he will create the same discussion about Star. Get Beasley and Star healthy for the playoffs and see what happens.

Not that much lol

Through Josh Allen all things are possible.

Go 5. Diggs, Sanders, Mckenzie, Kumerow, Stevenson. Kumerow does the Davis stuff in the run game and play action. Mckenzie to the slot. Wildcard imo is Stevenson. He can bring that John Brown speed the team hasnt shown all year. Im not overly concerned still. Buffalo is deep at wr.

How much day drinking has happened for me to now find out about Gabe Davis?… Either way Sanders is back. Mckintrick time is here. Full time slot. I feel like he has been waiting for this shot. He is quick and fast. I think he has a career day. Zone or man I think he eats. His speed in the slot is problem imo.

Buffalo did not have a window before Allen. It was a locked door and 4 brick walls.
-
With Bill and without Brady? Yes, in fact we are. Swept last year. Without Brady in 14?? Patriots lost. Brady owned Buffalo. I think a win Sunday goes a long way in moving the pendulum in Buffalos favor. I look at New England and the history with them differently without Brady.

Little extra steam from feeling slighted cannot hurt. 3 weeks to get hot for the playoffs. I think Sunday Allen has one of his best games. Poyer and Hyde both get picks.

Emmanuel Sanders knee injury - (update: day-to-day, practicing 12/22)

I think I would slide Sanders to the slot in 3 wide sets. I would also sprinkle in some Mckenzie. At this point I think Buffalos most dynamic and best group could be Diggs, Davis, Mckenzie, Knox and Singletary. Davis helps the run game with his blocking. His frame helps with Rpos and down the field gets past defenders. Mckenzie brings the jet sweeps. I like him in the slot with the Beasley stuff and his speed opens other options. Deep over routes vs man and cover 3 and cover 4. They make the offense more multiple are harder to defend. Time will tell but im optimistic. -
Rushing yards per attempt leaders - Allen and Singletary in top 10

He doesnt need to ne Taylor to be effective. I dont need 30 plus runs either. Give 80% of the carries to Singletary. 15 to 20 a game is the right number imo. -

Give Singletary a shot as the lead back. Let Brieda and Moss spell him. 15 to 20 carries a game is enough to make the defense respect it. He has a way of avoiding shots, I think he can handle it. Motor has had a good average since his rookie year. -
I think they thought they would have rookie season Sweeney and by now a decent dependable catcher. He is not that. TE needs to be a bigger priority this offseason. Some matchups going 2 Te makes sense. Right now its Knox and nothing. Almost would like to see one of the practice squad guys gets a shot at this point.

This. I think he has the quickness. His speed also makes him a different problem than Beasley. If healthy I would also use Sanders in the slot as well. Keep Diggs and Davis on the field. As big of an impact Beasley makes, idk how significant the loss will be.
-
I think Buffalo figured out Ne run game to a degree. Obviously, pa fakes with pulling motion are inbound. Can Jones capitalize? Idk. With out Bourne they will be in trouble.
-
Lets not praise Bill anymore than needed. Media believed he out coached Mcdermott. Mcdermott went on the offensive and said at the end of the day we had the ball inside the 10 twice to win it. More about guys making plays and not making plays than coaching.
-
New protocol, if vaccinated only tested if showing symptoms. Unvaccinated, everyday testing. So if he isnt showing symptoms he than is not vaccinated and out 10 days?
-
Feature Singletary. Cant be 1 dimensional. Utilize some Mckenzie. I think Buffalo just needs to play there game on offense. Dont get caught up in feeding anyone. Make the simple plays and hit a few bog plays.

Should Davis start over Sanders going forward?
Mat68 replied to Blainorama5's topic in The Stadium Wall
He has size for the Rpo. Better long speed than given credit for. I think he is becoming the guy we hoped. When Sanders returns put him inside. I think a rotation of Beasley and Sanders keeps them fresh down the stretch. Offense is best with Diggs and Davis. Davis does the dirty work inside blocking. Makes him a nightmare on hard play action.
