What is a bit frustrating with the whole offense back what new things did Daboll add to the offense? That throw back 4th down run, and line Mckenzie up in the backfield? Of the games I watched Buffalo had the most vanilla offense. No real motion, to real formation shifts.

Coaching. Daboll is not the offensive coach Reid is. Mahomes is the best player in the league. Maybe Allen and the Bills never get past him. Maybe they dont have to.

I dont want to run 25 times a games. I want Josh to run less than 4 times. Thats 5 carries to the backs. Those extra runs out of 21 under center. Utilize Allens rare athletic ability and roll him out to stretch the field. Its not a complete ***** show. Buffalo darn near had 400 yards of offense. Play the averages better, manufactor easy completions, utilize a formation that keeps the defense guessing. All spread all the time fills a stat sheet but hard to control a game.

How great the steelers defense played the Bills played as good or better. Buffalo won Time of possession, Total yards, passing yards, rushing yards, offense ran more plays. 1 turnover didn't make or break the game. The penalties and 4th down decisions decided the football game. The backwards pass, the not Offside but played like it was hurt. Couple tweeks and Buffalo will be fine.

I feel like it was a sight snap by Morse. Twice today Allen played liked he had an Offside on a hard count that was not. I feel like Mcdermott is going to be with Daboll alot over the next 48 hours. Allen is fantastic. Still Daboll needs to scheme up some easy plays. Wrinkles the defense wasnt ready for. The offense was the same thing from the second half of the game from last year.

Empty makes sense from time to time. In tempo use differant formations to get the matchups you want. They are playing 5 or 6 dbs go under center run and play action. They go bigger spread them out. It looks like Daboll is just spamming plays he thinks works without a set up or a purpose.

I disagree. Bring a te and back in to block. Utilize differant formations to create an advantage. I have issues. Scheme some easy throws. They were so far off run a bit more not alot. No reason for Buffalo not to score more than theu did. The penalties can be pointed to but the play calling is deeper.

Bills are still the better team. They won every category for the most part. The blocked punt was an equalizer and the play calling on offense was terrible. Daboll low key is a problem. Very slow to change his game plan. No real motion, no real diversity in formation.

Kelly puked before every game. Everyone has nerves and feels nerves. Learn to use it for good and not be crippled by it. Some players thrive in pratice struggle in games, while other don't practice and come a live during games.

Interior needs to step up. They have a young oline. I expect Pitts to run alot more than last year. Phillips and Butler need to have good games.

That is what makes Allen different. Vast majority of passing yards come from being behind. Allen is one of the few who can take over a game. Imo its his automatic short to intermediate passes. He stay in front of the chains and doesnt need big plays to move the ball.

Bills vs Steelers in September isn't the same as December. Better weather more scoring imo. I think Allen lights the Steelers secondary on fire. Big Ben will have a live arm. I think Buffalo win by 10 to 14 but in the 30’s and 20’s not 20’s and teens.

Warren Sharp talks about it all the time. Defenses and Defensive coaches are taught to stop the run on first down from pee wee. Defenses are set up to do so.

Regression? So Allen will play worst than last year? Better weapons this year. No confusion in what the team wants to do. Buffalo will pass more on first down and second down than any team in the league. That is the best time to pass. Its the more effective way to play. The oline plays better with a healthy Felicano and Ford and that will help the running game. I dont expect Allen to play much better, but his numbers will be about the same or more.

Finally week 1. Buffalo 38-23. Good time to be Bills fans. Allen puts up massive numbers. Steelers secondary gets abused.

No way. No one is saying he is the GOAT. High end Farve play is as good as any. Multiple MVPs, Superbowl winner. He is a legend. The no no no yes yes yes plays are the same thing Allen does.

He is a gimmick at this point. Using his KC/ Mahomes fandom to spring board him into popularity. He is trying to be Skip Bayless but without the built in heel narratives. His Allen takes are almost grudge/personal. For him Buffalo is a small market going against Buffalo for Kc just makes him look like a bandwagon guy.

Thats his comp in my eyes. I think he wants to be Aaron Rodgers. Limited the errant throws and decisions. Josh seems like a very smart guy. I think the less he runs the less reckless he will play. Every now and again the stuff he does with the ball as a runner is exciting. The days of leaping 6-5 LBs, hit sticking OLBs for a first down, in the first half, of a game your leading in September needs to be over. Once that happens than he will be more Rodgers and not Farve. Either way Allen and the Bills are a 3 game stretch of hot Allen away from the Super Bowl. Allen vs SF, DEN, NE last year beats anyone.
