Anyone else notice how slow the refs were to call the Chiefs' second time out? Mahomes was frantically calling for one for 3+ seconds before the clock finally stopped. Refs again wanting to keep the score as close as possible.

Side note, 50 yard extra points were an actual proposed rule change to allow for 9 point plays. You could go for 2 for an 8 point play, then get a bonus extra point attempt from 50 with no penalty for missing, still just kick off after. Thankfully it was voted down.

Unless a RB breaks some important record, it's almost a given the MVP simply goes to the QB of the team with the best record. The MVP odds tracking basically doubles as the odds of who will have the first playoff seeds.

Brilliant idea, let's just rest all starters who have so much as stubbed toe for all non-conference games. Better to bank on tiebreakers than the foolish notion of just having more wins than everyone else. I think it's just more proof that standardized testing is ruining the education system. These PFF tools were probably taught to assign a black and white score to everything, with no room for nuance or insight, and built their company on that principle.

My hypothesis is that their system punishes Josh for having faith in his stud receivers to pull in contested catches and sideline/diving grabs, because their system grades the tight coverage as a "bad decision" to throw into. Favors safe plays and boring "game managers".
