Maybe Tannehill so backup QB won't be our much maligned "Achilles heel". Actually Tannehill was one of the idiots defending their secret unauthorized practices, doesn't exactly scream process.

At minimum, suspend the players involved in the unauthorized practice.

Dunno all the exact details, but by rule a forfeit gets logged as a 2-0 score for the game. I would assume for stat purposes (averages per game and whatnot) it just doesn't get counted outside of season totals.

I'm less rooting for a forfeit, more rooting for justice and not exposing my team to a bunch of irresponsible plagued idiots.

If they’re saying forfeit isn't on the table because that illegal practice was before the new protocols came down, just invoke already established league rules. I'm 100% positive ignoring even the initial protocols to have an unauthorized practice would fall under the most infamous 5 words, "conduct detrimental to the league". Suspend the 15 players for the week based on that (plus other relevant team penalties).

It blows my mind that Saffold came right out and basically admitted it, defending the illegal practice. Way to nuke any chance at plausible deniability...

Maybe take Bills defense? Opposing forfeit it automatic 2-0 shutout victory by rule.

They should. Give the Steelers their original bye week and put the schedule back to what it was.

Yeah I wasn't surprised to see him go, but equally not surprised to see him eventually turn out to be good. Good for him.

Just have the protocol-breaking teams forfeit already. It's too late in the week to suddenly be game planning for a different opponent.

Just have the Titans forfeit the next two weeks so they can quarantine the entire organization. You have to draw the line somewhere. I absolutely don't want my team anywhere near them at this point.

I thought it meant a distinction from the odd definition of close contact. The "close" part seems to indicate the consecutive length of time they are in contact, not the actual distance. The Bills linemen would have had contact with him over the course of hours, but obviously not for 15 consecutive minutes, hence no "close contact" and instead "continual contact for hours". Being 1 foot away from him for a minute isn't considered close contact, but being 5 feet away for 15 minutes is.
