  1. Eh, Josh still probably could pull it off. Mahomes is no lamp post but he's also no Allen when it comes to scrambling.
  2. Oh looks, another Chiefs DB getting away with holding. Color me shocked.
  3. Allen would have rushed around the corner, or gotten the ball away even if it meant throwing it away. Mahomes trying to be a hero.
  4. WHY DID I FORGET TO GET MY BETS IN TODAY. I swear teams have at least a 90% win rate when I forget to get my bet on them.
  5. Yeah, I did, that's why I complained about it...
  6. Being "gassed" doesn't explain having our safeties literally 20 yards downfield (I counted) from the nearest Chiefs player as a wide open Kelce was being hit with nothing but green grass ahead of him while our CBs pointlessly defended the sidelines.
  7. Uncatchable ball refs.
  8. He's going to be the Josh Allen of TEs. Late bloomer physical freak who needed to work on fundamentals.
  9. I was actually just coming back to post that.
  10. Did you not read the part about their new GM and HC (both of which they have desperately wanted to replace) coming from Buffalo? I understand we didn't cause their old ones to get fired, but as the Fresh Prince would say, "they're a little stupid, but they've got the spirit". I think the seeds of Bills fan activism were planted with the Jauron billboard.
  11. Search function didn't pull up something on it yet, so close/merge if needed.
  12. Sigh, this again. Ok, let's break it down. Loss 1 - Overachieving season with Tyrod Taylor at QB. We weren't even supposed to be there. Loss 2 - Another overachieving season, still rebuilding, with a "not yet good" Josh Allen, and pre-Diggs. Got screwed by refball in OT. Backbreaking penalty against Bills ends up being used as example of the definition of a legal play. Loss 3 - Battered and bruised AFC championship game. WR corps were a walking MASH ward playing with all manner of injuries including fractured bones. Loss 4 - Legendary slugfest against another offensive juggernaut in what was expected to be a close game, regardless of venue. Bad defensive playcalling at end of game leads to getting screwed by outdated OT rules (coin flip). Win 1 and 2 - Still figuring out this whole "being good" thing, squeeking by good teams with flaws. Win 3 - Absolute roflstomp on a highly overrated team we already stomped the month before. Narrative in this game was more about the false narratives about our team coming INTO this game. Sure playing at home would be nice, but clearly you seem to be the type who only reads headlines and box scores, and doesn't read the whole article to get the context.
  13. I could see Dawkins going to his first PB, but I'd like to see Diggs also decline to support his bro. With that kind of offense, he won't have the chance to decline as a Super Bowl is a lock.
  14. "If you can't handle me at my ("Josh Allen is regressing/inconsistent", lost to Jax) worst, you don't deserve me at my (perfect offensive game, shattering playoff records) best." - Josh Allen's Tinder profile
  15. The coin toss didn't "cost them" a reg time possession. That's just how the game played out. If they won the toss and the halves are just in reverse order with the results the same, are you still saying the same thing? Like comon, it's not rocket science, the Bills could just as easily been the team with an "extra possession" regardless of how the coin toss went.
  16. I understand "losing a drive" on the OT coin toss, but where are you getting a second lost drive on a coin toss? You start with the ball in either the first or second half, not both, regardless of how the coin toss goes.
  17. Wow, I believe this is what the kids on Twitter call a "ratio". Maybe even a "big L" to take.
  18. I'll settle for whipping whomever made the decision to have our safeties literally 20 yards away from the nearest Chiefs player as Kelce was being hit wide open to set up the FG to go to overtime. It was like they were guarding against the mother of all hail marys on 4th down, rather than keeping them from getting into FG range. They were literally back at the 22 and 26, well within FG range. All 4 of KCs receivers were within our 50, and all had at least 3 yards of separation as we defended the sidelines as if they didn't have another timeout. Mind boggling.
  19. What an incredibly arrogant opinion. Developing that mindset is when you start to regress. His biggest strength has been his drive to improve his game. When you have Allen's gifts, you don't settle for being an "elite"/top 5 QB at the current time, you push to be the undisputed #1, the best the LEAGUE has ever had not just the best the team has had.
  20. I can assure you that taking away a pass defender to keep a spy on Mahomes WILL keep him from running for third downs! The problem is it will be because he'll be too busy putting up 500 yards and 6 TDs through the air. Then you knee-jerk reactionary types would be complaining about not double teaming so and so, or not blitzing instead. You can't guard against everything all the time, and Mahomes' primary weapon is his ARM. If our pass rushers could have wrapped him up all the times they got their hands on him (tackling was a problem in general), we're not even having this discussion and the gamelan you're trying to ridicule is being praised instead.
  21. Considering the team that wins the OT coin flip in the playoffs has won 91% of the time, a surprise onside kick (which has a higher success rate) actually has a higher winning chance, assuming you can score in some fashion.
  22. Reality also says it's not fair to multiply his first two development seasons by 3, unless you expect him to regress back to rookie/sophomore form for 50% of his career. His projected career numbers could be even better if you don't average his project years into it.
  23. Most people are missing the point where he admitted to slander. As in he knew what he was saying about Allen was not true. This isn't him changing his mind, he knew it all along and is being forced by the record books to drop the act.
  24. It is reviewable if there's a clear immediate recovery. Side note, a score there would have at least given me a buffer on my Rams by 13 bet. Now it's one score from losing.
  25. My bet on the Rams to win by 13 is looking pretty good.
