  1. With how late in the round we pick, the #1 pick is literally worth more than our next TWO entire draft classes.
  2. Just Google "NFL draft trade value chart". I won't claim it to be 100% accurate, but it's pretty good.
  3. Often absurd threads that get abandoned by the OP get closed.
  4. I'm amazed 9 people voted that Jax would accept the trade. That would be an all time great highway robbery by the Bills, and Jax would be an even bigger laughing stock for allowing themselves to be fleeced so badly. A late 2nd and an unproven player to drop 24 spots from #1? I'm signing the deal in a heartbeat if I'm Beane if Jax agrees to it. I love Rousseau, but I'd drop him (and a late 2nd) without a second thought for #1 overall. Another OP update, still has not shown his face despite being online multiple times per day.
  5. It's been a full day now and the OP has yet to post again since posting this thread, despite being around last night and early this morning. My money is on just an abysmal thread fueled by staggering ignorance of trade values, and he's too scared to respond. Then again he has less than 500 posts in 12 years, so maybe it's just his style to drop something and not be seen again.
  6. Except for the team that got Mahomes. Hindsight and all that.
  7. For what it's worth, the OP has been gone since shortly after posting the thread and has not responded. Considering the ridiculous premise, it doesn't look good.
  8. As well as Rousseau played, I don't think a year of playing 50% of the snaps elevates his trade value from #30 (where he was drafted last year) to the equivalent of a #3.
  9. In terms of trade value, our 2nd rounder gets us from #25 to #15. Rousseau would have to be worth the #3 pick to get us up to #1. Just in terms of our 1st round picks, our next 4 1st rounders (assuming current draft spot) wouldn't get us up to #1, especially considering future picks are worth less.
  10. Guess you hated landing Allen, then.
  11. Holy crap you GREATLY underestimate how much it would cost to move up 20+ spots in the first round to #1 overall. Need to throw in a couple more 1st and 2nd rounders at least, especially considering our low draft slots. Our 2nd rounder + Rousseau probably wouldn't get us to the top 10, and it only gets exponentially more expensive from there.
  12. I would at least say Allen is equal to Mahomes, overall. Mahomes gets too much credit for the YAC he enjoys, including the 6 inch "shovel passes", and other goal-to-go glorified handoffs he uses to inflate his passing TD stats. They are 1a and 1b QBs in the AFC. Aside from that, I seriously can't wrap my ahead around the notion of Trevon Diggs being perceived as a better CB than Allen is at QB. He's a one trick pony. It's like Lamar Jackson or rookie/sophomore Allen being the best QBs because they ran great while being weak at basically everything else.
  13. Trevon "90% route jumping, 10% coverage skill" Diggs in the top 10? Lol what a joke. But for our homers declaring Allen the clear #1? No way. Easy case for top 10, but top 5 or #1? Not yet. Out of the top 20 in these example lists is silly tho.
  14. It's completely disingenuous to say a given food in an ENTITE CITY sucks, especially when it's such a common food as pizza. You could go to a hundred different places for a basic pepperoni pizza and get a hundred different experiences. Even chain places often differ in preparation and attention detail to the point they are completely different. He could have been to like 3 places that merely had pizza on the menu as a formality and thus had disappointing experiences, not knowing the unassuming bar or family restaurant two doors down serves pizza that would blow him away. Could just as easily have had the opposite experience and think Buffalo has great pizza.
  15. The new headline still sucks. I read it and thought "oh good, someone reviewed the affects past coordinator changes have had on teams". Nope.
  16. Sounds to me like they were trying to keep Brian "Rooney Rule" Flores interested in interviewing with them by insinuating he'd have a highly sought after OC under him. It's just the employer version of fluffing up your resume.
  17. And he does have an adversarial history with the Giants and Bills... 😆
  18. When Flores got those texts from Belichick, he shouldn't have revealed who he was. He should have gotten additional details from BB on who specifically gave him that info and what was said, to secure evidence. Then send it to the league like "woops, looks like the Giants hired their new HC without satisfying the Rooney Rule first". Might be possible the league demands BB's cell to get his call/text records to investigate the claims. See if another phone gets destroyed like Brady. *edit* I also wouldn't put it past BB to have leaked that info on purpose in some kind of 4D chess move lol.
  19. Saves the Giants from being Bills (even more) East.
  20. Show me on this doll where Joe Burrow touched you.
  21. Yeah, it's kind of "so bad it's good" territory for me. I hope you hate it solely for the frequency, and not being against mental health. #TeamRodgersRate
  22. I don't care if there's a hundred flags, as long as they're accurate. Some teams (coughBuccsChiefsPatscough) are known for having their DBs water ski receivers down the field, among other things. That's not fun to me. The Chiefs had multiple big plays and points swung in their favor by uncalled obvious penalties.
  23. I wanted to root for a Bengals-49ers Super Bowl, but can't cheer for SF after I expressed support for them to my SF fan neighbor before last weekend's games and he repaid my kindness by crapping on the Bills to my face for no reason.
  24. Our screens kept being thrown to a flat-footed receiver (typically Singletary) with no momentum to get around the corner and kept getting stopped for a loss or no gain. Seemed to do better towards the end of the year. However, that Rams screen on 3rd down looked like a Bills play...
  25. Guess who after complaining about forgetting to get their bet in on the Bengals, then also forgot to bet on this game? Hint, the guy has two thumbs. Second hint, this guy.
