  1. I guess Von did provide a Lombardi trophy for this team. The replica he brought to motivate the team. That worked out well.
  2. It was Jack and Coke for me, to each their own though. We all have our way of coping
  3. Yup the future has became now, including the 2023 draft for Beane and McDermott
  4. Yes. Espenesa too, for whatever you can get. I would listen to offers on Basham too, although I imagine it would be pretty quiet on all 3 of their calls. Time to shift the wasted DL picks onto the offense. If you can get a 7th for that lb you took in the 3rd last year you take it.
  5. I was. I think this is the best one left, but I enjoyed BBMB a lot more. Didn't have people fussing about creating threads all the time, acting like you just committed Capital murder by posting something that had the same word in a title from a post last year. Certain mods go on ego power trips, good luck, you are braver than I creating a thread here. Information is much harder to find as well because you have only 1 post and 100 pages to go through to find what you are looking for
  6. Some people think we are still some Juggernaut, they are quick to forget Zack Wilson beat us once this year, Tua beat us once, then Miami almost beat us a 2nd and 3rd time with a rookie 3rd string QB. Not to mention that last Ne game wasn't exactly a blowout either, we had 2 kick returns for tds. I think the chicken will come home to roost next year and people that still can't see it will be asking what happened?
  7. Since the Bills are never good enough to do it with whatever the current rules are, the league should just rotate Division winners each year where only 1 gets to move on from the Afc and Nfc to the playoffs, which will be bypassed because only 2 teams move on, sending them straight to the SB. Change which division leader moves in each year. Then swap each years winner being 1 year from the Afc, the next the Nfc, meaning no need to play the SB either, giving the random Division winner the SB title. Maybe the Bills will win one then. If that dont work, change the rules to where whatever team with the best record that regular season that has never won a SB gets the SB title. We will surely win one then eventually.
  8. We were probably going to learn that we would be getting our Ass kicked if we had to play the Bengals in the playoffs, with a far superior talented and coached Offense
  9. I was right there with you as well. I was very disappointed in what we had at WR starting the season. Was 2 immediate downgrades. Something I wasn't realizing as much at the time but am now is how he also has ignored the OL for the most part for 5 years and has not put a solid one together in 5 years. Reid done it in 1 offsesaon, so did the Chargers
  10. I believe they both hit the road after next year. I dont think they can fix what they have done with years of poor drafting this year. Its too much to overcome
  11. Depends on the owner. Not going to happen, but if I was Terry and looked at the current roster, draft capital failure, and total disregard for offense, I would have been holding the end of the year presser myself announcing Beane and McDermott have been released. We thank them for what they have done in their time here
  12. In hindsight the massive aging Miller contract was a bad move. 120m for a 33 year old? We constantly talk about teams overpaying for an aging Poyer, who is younger than Von, yet they somehow get a pass signing an aging Von. Its no shock that he is hurt, just like Poyer and Hyde. That contract is going to strap the cap starting right now, and we can't get rid of it. Fwiw, I was against it when we paid him that massive contract, for the reasons I mentioned above. I know he played well when he played, but thats kind of my point, when he played. Where was he during the playoffs? The same place an aging Hyde and almost Poyer were at. If you have to not play a player "to preserve him for the playoffs" because of their age, you shouldn't be signing them to massive contracts. Especially when you have used 2 1st and 2 2nds in the draft recently to rush the passer
  13. I would take my chances with the Sushi.
  14. Exactly. Terrible drafting and roster management is why we are where we are with so many holes this year. The haven't fixed the Oline in 6 years. Lack of WR focus has been awful, all the wasted picks on Defense, especially the DL has been failures It catches up after some point. We are at that point. They have screwed up too many years now to fix it this season imo
  15. I dont see them getting better by keeping everyone. There are arguments to be made for both of those opinions
  16. Some of us would like to see 1 SB win before we die. Beane and McDermott have rode the coat tails of the Josh Allen pick and some of us dont want to see his career wasted with Defensive minds. Some of us are willing to risk change for someone who will possibly get us over the hump, believing that Mcbeane and McDermott can't do it. Even if it means going back to missing the playoffs. Mahomes has already won 1, made it to multiple, in Burrows short career he has already made it once, and may be going back again. Then there is Josh Allen, no excuses to miss the SB every year with Josh Allen as your QB. Some of us can already see the terrible drafting and roster management failures, lack of ability to adjust and be a great game day coaching staff when it matters, and there seems to be no indication of change to fix it
  17. By the looks and actions of this team, I fear some have already stopped trusting the process. Cant blame them, when the process includes focusing on Defense 3 to 1, and you have Josh Allen as your qb, who in their right mind could trust that process year after year!
  18. Agreed. Josh Allen. Can't think of much else with the way they have handled the roster.
  19. Like Cowhert said, you had all week to plan and you go 3 and out the 1st drive. It was over in the 1st quarter. They have failed to put together an offensive line for 6 years, while other coaches fix theirs in 1 Their roster building and drafting has be atrocious. The roster talent seems to get worse year after year, and its not looking good for them on fixing it this offseson. They have had 6 years to address the line, and quite a few years neglecting WR. But we got that vaunted Dline right? Yeah they screwed those picks up too. Too many bad draft years and proper FA acquisition to fix it this offseason imo. I think they have dug their grave after next year
  20. Unfortunately I think he has screwed uo the draft and neglected the offense so bad the last 4 years, It will be too much to overcome this offseason. Im very happy to be wrong. But I think they die with that major DL investment next year at the expense of not getting one of the best qbs viable weapons and protection. Cowherd had a great point, Andy Reid rebuilt an Oline in 1 offseason, so did the Chargers. This id Beanes 6th year and the Oline still couldn't be much worse. Terrible drafting/Fa, roster management
  21. Without Josh Allen we would be the bottom feeders of the AFCE right now. Thats on the GM and coaching
  22. Since 2018 not one team has drafted more DL in the top 2 rounds than Buffalo. During this same time frame, they have selected less WR in the top 3 rounds than any other teams. It was on full display again the Bengals trotting out all their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round Wrs, will Beanes D line with all the capital used was completely invisible I hope Terry has an advisor, these answers ate exactly what I did not want to hear for the most part. As great as Beane, McDermott have been, I dont think they possess the mentality to build an offensive team around Josh Allen
  23. He is hanging on hard to that Josh Allen pick, he knows he would probably be fired by now if it won't for Allen. They almost have to sign Edmunds to show they actually got more than 1 pick right
  24. O dont always agree with Cowherd, but its hard to argue against anything he said here
  25. Its just kicking the can down the road imo. McDermott is at his ceiling I believe. Time for Offensive coach
