  1. Why do they need Tate if they already have Jeffrey, Agholar, and Matthews balling out like he did on Sunday?
  2. The whole concept of wings is kind of funny to me. As much as Buffalonians might hate to admit it, there's nothing special about Buffalo wings anymore. Wings are the same across the country, at least 5 hours down south from Buffalo. Of course, that doesn't change the fact that they shouldn't have used boneless wings from Applebee's.
  3. Can someone seriously explain why Josh Gordon isn't on our football team? I want someone to ask Beane this directly. Watkins Woods Hogan Goodwin Matthews (balled out yesterday)
  4. I'm actually shocked by this. I was fully expecting either throwbacks, blue-on-blue, or white-on-white, all of which would have cemented a blowout even more.
  5. If Baltimore had instead lost another game earlier in the year, would you still say Buffalo "backed in"?
  6. McDermott's arms were crossed. Speaks volumes. He's feeling the heat.
  7. I didn't listen -- did McDermott return to the classic "There are some throws he'd like to have back" line?
  8. I called a 38-7 loss. Anyone else get that close?
  9. Because there's nothing wrong with pointing out that there's a problem. It doesn't demand that you also offer a solution. You sound like one of those people who would say "I'd like to see you try!" when someone says that someone is doing a bad job at something. Pointing out that there's a problem does not infer that the person is saying they could do better.
  10. The Bills are getting blown out because the Colts have them in four of the five facets of winning right now: schemes, passion, luck, and environment, in that order. This loss is not because of talent.
  11. Week 7: @ Indianapolis Colts The Bills will be in white-on-white this week as they travel to Indianapolis to take on Bills legend Frank Reich and the Colts. Buffalo radio has been buzzing with optimism all week regarding QB Derek Anderson, who will get the start for the Bills. I find this remarkably foolish. Here are some facts on Derek Anderson: 1. He hasn't been a regular starter in EIGHT YEARS. 2. He hasn't started a game, period, in 2 years. 3. For his career, he posts a passer rating of 71.1. 71.1! 4. He was signed TEN DAYS AGO. He had no offseason program, no training camp, no preseason, and no season to this point. And last year? He only threw eight balls. It seems like fans and local media expect this guy to come in off the street and throw for 220 and two touchdowns. They also expect him to protect the ball. Newsflash: for his career, he has 60 TDs and 60 INTs! Why, especially under these circumstances—surrounded by the worst offensive talent in football—should we be expecting him to be a version of himself that he's never been? It's lunacy! I hope I'm wrong, but I think this is going to be a disaster of a game for Anderson. And that's not really his fault. My statline prediction: 10-22, 119 yds, 0 TD, 2 INT This is also the game where the defense falls back to Earth. Result: Colts 38, Bills 7
  12. Not even kidding when I say this -- Carr is an outspoken Christian. This might have legs.
  13. Why is it crystal clear when Sal calls in, regardless of where he is?
  14. How did I know that 26 was going to be in here trying to take over this post with Allen hate? Seriously, guy, come on.
  15. Several things: * McDermott is thin-skinned. He should be expecting questions like this. * It was embarrassing hearing Bulldog try to twist his questions so they didn't sound critical, but in my opinion, that just makes the recipient feel more disrespected. * My theory is that Schopp called McDermott afterwards to apologize. Because I think Schopp is actually a little kitty. * I think McDermott is actually legitimately intimidated by Schopp. Which is pathetic, because Schopp is an insecure little kitty. * This interview was full of subtle digs at Schopp along with obvious respect for Bulldog. It's obvious that McDermott is the type of person who treats you differently to prove a point and wants to maintain control by making people wonder where they stand.
  16. I can't figure this out either. It's actually the AT&T hotline. Whenever McDermott or Sal are on it, it sounds like they are in studio. It's crystal clear. But when Murph is on it, it sounds like a regular phone call. What's the deal? Right, but that's not what he meant, and you know it. The question is whether or not he has a choice THIS WEEK.
  17. Sal is every bit the jerk that Schopp is when he's behind the controls. He literally listens to the caller and interrupts as soon as he finds something that they're wrong about and it doesn't matter what the main point of the call is.
  18. Would love to break it down; I just don't have time. Seriously.
  19. A lot! Guys, most plays were positive. I'm not saying he was perfect, but the criticism he's taking today is unbelievable. What exactly are your expectations? Remember, he threw 17 balls, so don't talk about the yardage total.
