  1. TJ Graham fumbled on the Bills 13 with the scored tied 13-13 early in the 4th and it was returned for a TD. Literally the Chiefs defense outscored their offense 14-9
  2. Bills 63 Jags 13 Honestly IDK why I am predicting this game. If they lose this game there will be a five alarm fire sounded in Bills nation about what this team is.
  3. I would just like to note on my Defining Moment Season Series for 2013 this game was the real highlight of the bunch and started of string of losses to KC that were utterly mind numbing.
  4. He is probably the one guy I would give credence to as not knowing his real potential given the list of terror he has had at QB.
  5. That's fine give me lasers too then!
  6. Trevor Siemian started last game and did well. Payton is a brilliant coach I think Thomas would've been fine with their QB situation.
  7. There is something to be said for Big Ben understanding what throws not to make and good decision making. Baker isn't even ahead of him there.
  8. Give me Minnesota's glass cover where it shows a ton of sun and natural light to the point it looks like your outside at points if you were to do a roof. Otherwise outdoor do what Seattle has.
  9. Since 2010 when the rule changes came down on hits to the head, QB protection, WHAT IS A CATCH, etc.. officiating has been pretty rough. BUT to their defense the league has basically created this problem with the vague and ambiguines nature of these rules that make you question how one thing is a penalty and other play isn't. That really makes you screwed as an official in my opinion. Also I would add the NFL does not utilize technology to the max for officials. The camera angles, replay ability, etc for networks and fans supersedes many times what the refs have which is insane. Why they do not have a GPS tracker for first down or TD lines is just beyond my understanding at this point. Additionally the refusal and angered nature that the refs responded to having a sky judge really limits things. Anyone could've seen in that Saints Rams title game it was a penalty. IDK why it is viewed soo poorly by refs to have a guy buzz down and say you need to at minimum review this and it probably should be a penalty. It cheapened the experience for everyone involved. So yea the reffing has been poor for the last decade, but so much is either not being used to help them, they do not want to use to help, or the leagues rules are just so dumb that I am not sure a 1000 great refs would make that much of a difference.
  10. Mike Evans since entering the league has 7 straight 1000 yards seasons (on pace for 8 ) while playing with Jamieis and other crap QB's until last year with Brady. He has averaged 76 catches, 1180 yards, and 8 TDs (nearly 9) a year while being a 3 time pro bowler and 2nd team all pro in a season. Bud there are a handful of guys in the league the last decade near that stat line and get this crap about Davis out of hear until he even goes two seasons back to back with 1000 yds. I could give two craps about athletic ability, the proof of there that Evans has been a far better and more productive receiver playing with lesser QB play until Brady then virtually every WR in his class minus Adams who is the best. Also right now Mike Evans would be leading the Bills WR corp in yards and td's so please stfu about this crap that he wouldn't even start on the Bills, he would straight up challenge Diggs as our number 1 guy.
  11. I wouldn't say you or others were wrong as much as unfilled potential and the reality of playing tough games regularly. I wasn't as high on CLE yet because until you win your division and earn that grind you haven't made it yet as an org. Making the playoffs is good but it also then gives you a playoff level of opponents and with that division its no joke. CLE is not a bad football team but injuries, poor luck, and shakier QB play is really damaging their chances. That said they still have a lot of games coming up in division they won last year that can get them in. The biggest problem from them is CIN taking such a step forward with Burrow emerging as a true young star and PIT not falling down and instead being competitive.
  12. Def the most injury prone of that group
  13. Yep. Listened last night to Freddie & Fitzsimmonds on ESPN they talked about this. Funny 3 years ago I was jealous we didnt' get OBJ. Now I am thinking we dodged a bullet and yea CLE should get Cooks he would be a much better fit and teammate. It's wild the best WR of the draft in 2014 was Davante Adams in the 2nd round and Mike Evans who was the 2nd WR taken (and who I wanted the Bills to take). That 2014 WR draft was insane talent wise.
  14. Which is why it was my first point and you explained it just as well. Drought NE years we would have one game where they typically blasted us, but the other was close like this until a big moment or play happened.
  15. Oh no doubt. I even said in my criticism of DaBoll that it is more the level of expectation then actual poor play or gameplan. I mean they literally sleepwalked through a half and then said OK and scored 23 pts without a lot of pushback. The biggest thing everyone sees is last year the offense flowed sooo seamlessly throughout whereas this year outside of the Washington game they've been a little 3 steps forward 1 back at points. So it is hard not compare, but teams have a year of film and I really think teams have been trying to do what KC in the title game and PIT week 1 did against Allen. Difference is he's evolved into a far more complete QB already so it's negating that most of the time. The Titans game to me was Allen's best this year because their defense isn't bad and he was pressed big time to make all the plays and basically did so. Crappy finish but I thought it really showed how far he has come.
  16. The offensive line has been reallyy up and down this year and the worst it has been since 2018 (obviously not that bad). The difference to me is Allen for the most part no longer gets flustered and is making the plays that negate the pressure coming. As the season has gone on I feel like the PIT game caught him by surprise as the OL got the snot kicked out of it. Since then he looks to have made the adjustments needed to find the open guys and let them make plays (and his guys are also holding the ball too).
  17. That is one of my takeaways in general this year is seeing a team that is a SB contender overcome some lack luster games just because they are better straight up. For all the years we wish we had Brady or Rodgers etc.. Josh is literally doing that now. The 2nd half was basically him willing the offense because he was over it. It is a nice feeling
  18. HEY I didn't say that what am I suppose to read!
  19. I know the guy running the video display PROBABLY gets fired doing this, but he 100% should've put on the display "The Juice Is Loose"
  20. Bills fans obsess over NE. No I don't care at this time and truthfully evaluating anything right now is a mute point. Good for NE they are 4-4, they could also be 5-8 in four weeks and none of this matters or 8-4 idk idc, we are at week 9 the NFL landscape is vastly different every year come seasons end.
  21. So unlike Virigl I do not do these weekly as its wayyy tooo much work and more realistically I only comment or start a post if I feel I have something to say that has not been said. So here is where my thoughts were after the game: 1. Far too many people oversold the Bills being fired up after the bye and the loss to TEN and undersold the Phins being competitive. A lot of people said "well after the Cardinals loss the Bills went on fire so they can do so again". Few things wrong with that, 1. they beat the Chargers 27-17 in a pretty up and down performance (it wasn't a blow out), 2. Last year has zero bearing on this season, sports are not linear. 3. The guys are human, to think that after a loss like the Titans the team might not be a little down is just foolish. The Cardinals loss was a fluke play in a good game they had won, the Titans was a playoff type battle and you could see how emotionally spent both teams were by the end. Whoever lost that was not gonna walk away feeling good. With all of that said on a relatively bad day they walked away 26-11 winners so that's pretty cool. 2. Brian DaBoll is a very good offensive coordinator and paramount to Allen's development. I think this has also been his worst year as OC which is less a criticism and more a growth of expectations. This game reminded me of the Steelers game where I just sat watching the play calls yelling "what are you doing". I get that we rolled Miami on the ground last game, but you could see by the early 2nd quarter it wasn't happening. Like the Steelers game Cole Beasley was wide open all the dang time, thankfully this time the Bills got him involved much sooner. I have no qualms with DaBoll as an OC I am happy he is our guy, but whether it was to not show as much on tape, try and run on Miami, the offensive line being a different combo, etc.. I really hated his game plan until he let Josh loose in the second half. It is weird to say the offense has not played its best game yet, but truthfully the talent and Allen is carrying the day this season more then game plan (outside of KC that was a great gameplan). 3. The defense had a nice comeback game after the Titans and Edmudns/Milano as a combo were dynamite. The Titans game they both were over pursuing and out of position which cost the Bills dearly. This game outside of a play here or there they really frustrated Tua and the Phins all game. Tre White is going to explode soon for a stretch of games with a few INTs, he was superb and he has been more noticeable the last few weeks. The penalties not called were crap especially on Gesieckis 40 yard reception when I believe Hughes got his helmet knock off and held with no call. The defensive line had a nice game and Ed Oliver is having a good season in my eyes and making an impact week in week out. They really really could use an impact DE though. That to me is the missing piece on this defense is a guy off the edge who is a Terror. Sadly they don't grow on trees. 4. If you were at the game how was the weather? The broadcast kept talking about the wind, but I just looked a like a normal damp Sunday Bills game in Fall. 5. As a non-bias fan Tua just looks average overall and at this point I do not blame the Dolphins from moving on. I get the prior two weeks he had the Dolphins in position to win and had they the Phins would've came in at 3-4, but what do he excel at? A few of the third down stops the Bills had he just straight up missed guys with his passes. I do not think the Phins have handled him well in terms of bringing him along and working to his strengths. But I also am not sure he really has a strength that allows him to dominate in any fashion. The broadcast earlier on decided to compare Tua's first 16 starts vs Allen and Tua's numbers were non-surprisingly better. The problem with this to me is there was no context to any of it. Allen had zero weapons until 2019 whereas Tua at least has some talent at WR. Additionally while Allen had growing pains, some of the throws and plays he made you said no one else outside of maybe Mahomes or Rodgers would do. With Tua I cannot recall a play he has had in his first 16 where I said "ok this could be a problem". Hopefully the Phins keep him as its been great for the Bills, but if I were a Phins fan I get wanting to move on at this point. 6. Diggs has been good this season even if the numbers are not equal to last year. One of the things I appreciate about great players is the ability to impact the game even if it is in a singular moment. The TD pass to get the Bills a 17-3 lead is proof of that. It was single coverage and the Dolphins brought the house forcing a quick throw. The chemistry of Allen and Diggs showed there as he beat his man cleanly to get the TD. It was the type of play though were your guy just being better makes all the difference and I appreciate that with him. Also even though his production is "down" he is on pace for for 1150 yards, 7 TDs, and 96 recs. I think we are all good with that. 7. The four pack of Phins, Jags, Jets, & Colts is a greatttt opportunity for the Bills to pick up needed conference wins. One down three to go. If you can sweep that group your AFC conference record would be 7-2. That would help to atone for the Titans loss in terms of tiebreaker. The Colts are probably the scariest team of that bunch as they are playing much better football, but the Jets to me are the wildcard of the group. Zach Wilson has been all over the place as QB while White has been competent to good. Their defense has played well at times and with rookie head coaches you never know what they can do good or bad. Teams like the Jets scare me because its such a wild mixed bag and not predictable whereas the Dolphins you knew what you were working with. The Jets are bad, but what performance comes with that is a major ? . 8. So I love the fact McD is aggressive and willing to go for it on 4th down. Love it! He has been with the statistics in the situations to do so. With that said he and DaBoll need to sit with Josh and they need to as a group identify there best plays for success. They were a very good team last year on 4th down and while they have converted some this year, the misses have been really bad from the PIT game, Titan game, to even yesterday. Whether it is the play call/type or Josh forcing a bad throw/reading the play wrong or taking a penalty etc.. they have been far from crisp on these plays which are major game changers.
  22. Biggest eye roll ever. Unless they take the division from us at the end of the year I could literally care less what NE does at this time.
  23. Yooo check the 76 steelers season. Started out 1-4 and Bradshaw got knocked out in week 5, proceeded to go rough shot and win their next 9 games in a row which had the 5 shutouts which included the final two games of the year. They ended up losing in the AFC title but that is still freaking wild.
