Bills sign Keon Coleman to his rookie deal
Success replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Slow is the new fast! I can't wait to see this guy play w/ Allen. Hopefully he gets a ring or 2 or 3 before his next contract... -
Joe Marino talks what the Bills have to do to beat KC in playoffs

I was thinking the same watching the Yankees this week. At least the Bills give the Chiefs a pretty good fight. The Royals got nuthin'. -
Joe Marino talks what the Bills have to do to beat KC in playoffs

People keep forgetting that last one. If the situation was reversed and KC had been missing that many key players, and the Bills were relatively healthy - that game likely isn't close, and is a decisive Bills win. -
Joe Marino talks what the Bills have to do to beat KC in playoffs

It gets tough in these situations. It has now become a mental hurdle - there is a psychological aspect which heightens the challenge, especially in future games that are close. As the clock winds down, the old doubts start creeping in. But there is tons of precedent for reversing the narrative in sports, i.e. the Patriots owned Peyton Manning - until they didn't. He really got the last laugh in that rivalry, and I'm hoping the same for Allen. -
It's not one memory, but I used to travel a lot, and when I'd be wearing a Bills shirt or something, I'd usually get approached by other Bills fans - and it's really like someone from the family. There is such a comradery from the shared experience. I don't think we're the only fanbase like that - but it's a select few, imo. We've just been through so much.

Classic addition by subtraction for the Bills. I will always love what he did to help change the culture of this team, and make Allen what he is today - but see ya, Diggsy. The last 2 years, you have been an underperforming, over-talking & tweeting distraction (and your bro, as well). Looking forward to watching you undermine another contender's chances.

It's an excellent documentary - but once only for me. So many years ago, but still so brutal. I feel like I'll be able to watch it again if we ever win one, but until then I can't go near it.

Hey, not sure if anyone has mentioned it - but thanks for giving us Cole Bishop for nothing!

Bills apparently cockblocked the Pats*** at the end of the 1st round…
Success replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
Chiefs fans think we wanted the guy they or San Fran wanted. Pats fans think we didn't trade w/ them because we're still so scared of them (true story, from reading their boards). I think we were able to get a new starting safety and the WR we were hoping to get without a trade up. -
Buffalo Bills Schedule Discussion / Prediction Thread
Success replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
We always say it' s a tough schedule. And it usually is. There are a lot of good teams now - especially in the division and conference. All kinds of weird stuff usually happens. Some of the games that look easy aren't, and some of the hard ones go the other route. It's hard to win in the NFL. But we've been doing it more than most teams, and I expect that to continue. -

If Cole Bishop & Coleman both pan out, it's gonna look like a pretty good trade. -
I'm not an autograph guy - but probably wouldn't if I was. It's really a drag we had to be in the same division as that guy. I mean, seriously - the most dominant QB & franchise of all time, and we had to just get through playing them twice a year. It was like going to the dentist playing them - just something to get over with.

Random talking head says something about the Bills
Success replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
I respect how good he is. But man, what a crybaby.... -
Just on a quick check, he's 10 lbs. heavier than Worthy. I agree that they like their ST guys - but we really need that speedster to stretch the field, too. I'm hoping this guy can fulfill the potential Denver must have seen to draft him in the 2nd.
-
After watching some of his interviews - I like the guy as a person more than any of the other dudes picked ahead of him. He doesn't seem to have any diva in him, which is rare w/ top receivers - but he also seems to have a ton of confidence. I'm really excited about this pick. Not the best WR in the draft by any means - but he may be the best for the Bills, and Allen.
-
I kinda feel bad for some of the fans who gave negative emojis to this. This is 100% my expectation. It likely will be as long as Allen is QB for the Bills - I would expect fans of KC and Cincy to feel the same. Not really anyone else on a year-by-year - maybe Houston if Stroud doesn't have a sophomore slump.

It's a futile obsession. I want a #1 offense - not a #1 receiver. We have 2 position units that have complimentary players to give even the best DC's nightmares - Tight End and Running Back. And we have a solid O-line, and a very CAPABLE receiver corps, that has speed, good hands and versatility. And we still have a top 2 QB in the league. This offense will be top 3-4 in the league. I'm tired of the hand-wringing about the WR position, and not having a "true #1." We almost beat the SB champs with our "true #1" barely showing up & dropping a game-changing pass.

Fact vs Fiction: "Keon Coleman is not a separator"
Success replied to ShakAttack's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's 20, and so many of his other skills are as good as you could want. If he improves w/ his separation (and I agree it's not as bad as portrayed), he can be the steal of this draft. We just won't know for awhile. But I like the guy, and it seems like he has great commitment to being the best. -
Draft Analysis - We're All Debi from Depew
Success replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not to disparage anyone here - but I always crack a smile when I see someone complain about a pick because of where they had that player on "their board." I'm always kind of curious, too: how did they put their board together? Did they scour film of a huge # of collegiate players, all day, every day of the year? Did they go to games and workouts? Did they rigorously compare players at various positions with others who spent as much time as them watching and evaluating? Because those are the things Beane & our scouts do. I have a hunch that most here look at mocks for a few months, and check some youtube on only the top players - and that's about it.- 148 replies
