Some GM's thought of that very thing, from what I read. I don't care - I'd rather take my chances. That's a game changer if we get stopped deep in our own territory....

I never thought I'd say this - but I can't wait until we have to punt this year....

Cannabis consumption on track to overtake alcohol
Success replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in Off the Wall
They both have drawbacks in terms of health and negative impact - but imo, alcohol is much worse. I rarely see stoned dudes starting brawls or trashing property. I'm not sure if they even jump through tables. -
Pats fans are so delusional. After I saw this thread, I went to one of their boards to see what they were saying about it. There were a few sentiments of "I hope Buffalo enjoyed their short time in the playoffs, because Mac Jones is going to make sure they never get there again for a long time." Be glad you're not them. It may seem cool to win for such a long time, but it turns you into a clown.

Sounds like good news for him & the Jets. Glad to hear it; it had really sounded dire yesterday. I have a lot of Jets fan friends. I don't hate them like many do. Particularly after the Pats' long reign - I almost commiserate w/ the fans of our other division rivals now.

If the worst is true, that's awful news. Really feel for him & for the Jets. 1st preseason game - just a nightmare.

Man, we have a lot of WR talent in there. I'm still pretty bullish on Hodgins. I thought he was kind of steal in that draft.

I don't want to see Brady if we make the SB. But, I kind of do.

Could be New England's "Edwards/Losman" controversy...

Tom Brady Away From Bucs to "Deal With Some Personal Things"

I'm guessing an inter-dimensional trip to Hell to see if he could amend his original pact. -
Patriots' offense is a disaster per The Athletic's beat reporter
Success replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
Tell ya what - the Patriots will probably still be competitive, but I don't think I've ever seen a less talented team I'd say that about. It's because of one thing, the coach. He'll hold it together w/ spit & glue like he always does, and figure out how to keep them in enough games for a respectable record. Once he retires, New England is officially done for a few decades. -

They'll always have the wind game... -
Is Mahomes-Allen the new Brady-Manning? (The Ringer podcast episode)
Success replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Some have brought up the influx of QB talent, and it's a very valid point (ticks me off that Manning was really Brady's only competition for many of those 20 years or so). But I still see Allen & Mahomes as 1A and 1B, unless proven otherwise. I think they're a clear tier above Herbert, Burrow & the rest. -
OT: Belichick says that Mac's improvement is "dramatic"
Success replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
It would be pretty healing for the nation if the Patriots offense couldn't score, their defense couldn't stop anyone from scoring, and Belichick smashed a phone on the sidelines every game. -
Jon Feliciano's take on KC playoff game

I need this every morning before I start my work day. I'd follow this dude through the gates of Hell. -
Dane Jackson was really good last year. And I think if you get a CB as early as we did, he has to start. I'm cool standing pat.

7 Bills players that are trending up and down (per Joe B)
Success replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think Moss will surprise people this year. He's really talented, and has rarely been at 100% over the past couple of years. -
One thing I've noticed on twitter & around message boards is the general sentiment of "I don't like the Bills, but I really like Josh Allen..."
-
It's big for me for 2 reasons: 1) I hated losing the opener last year. I shrugged it off at the time, because I was so confident - but it ended up setting kind of a tone for a lot of the season. 2) I was excited and terrified about facing the Rams in the SB. I thought they'd be a bad match-up for the few weaknesses we had. Not that it will be a gauge w/ the changes that have happened, but there is still some curiosity factor.

I wish Kelly had a Lombardi - he earned it. But in a way, the "lost 4 in a row" thing adds to the meaning of "Kelly tough," which is a phrase I always keep close and try to live by. He's really an inspiration, with all of the setbacks he's had and just the way he handles them. He laid a pretty good blueprint for how to approach life.

I remember feeling like he could put us over the top. It's amazing the mental gymnastics you go through when you have no QB, your team is mediocre and you want to believe in anything.
