Was the Bills/Chiefs Game decided in Week 18?
Matt_In_NH replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I dont think the Bills had an outrageous amount of injuries. All teams had issues at some point. Luck plays into it in terms of timing or stacking up at one position but that is not atypical of something someone has to deal with on the way to a Super Bowl. They could have won that game but failed to execute in some key situations. -
I understand your point regarding the defense in the playoffs. However we don't agree with what to do about it.

At the end, how Josh Allen's carrer will look like ?
Matt_In_NH replied to Repulsif's topic in The Stadium Wall
So take away the 2-7 games the Bills have a bye for 3 of the last 4 years. That is hard to say exactly how that would have gone. If you want to be a Nancy you could just assume you lose in the divisional round but that is not fair because the bye would be a big advantage. -
Just here to say his contract is just warming up

This would be the dumbest draft by any team ever.

Rivers was 5-7 postseason. Allen is 5-5 and has a long way to go. Scratch that one off -
Not any corner can just move to safety. What skill sets does a safety need and how does Elam rate in those areas? Can you articulate why this is a good idea? Or is it just guy is not working at corner so let’s do something else?

Hope he had a good prenup

Joe Marino's breakdown of the all 22 concluded the Bills threw short all day because that is what was there, KC's defense took stuff down the field away. Btw, they are an incredible defense, that seems to get lost in the mix as people just talk Josh and Mahomes and Bills injuries.

This has always been a pet peave of mine, people love to say "wide right!!!!!!". That game was not lost because of Norwood, it should have been a blowout, the Bills were simply out coached and out played minus Thurman Thomas. A guy with Norwood's leg could never get a tryout with an NFL team today. That kick for Norwood is equivalent to a 60 yarder for Tucker. If Tucker missed a 60 yarder to lose a SB I think people would say "well it was a 60 yarder". Norwood had a noodle leg who was accurate within 40 yards but people dont know/care to know that.

Bolded are guys I could see getting resigned for the right deal. Most of these should be cheap with the exception of Daquan. Would also like Floyd and Epenesa back but doubt that will happen. QB Kyle Allen WR Gabe Davis LB Tyrel Dodson DE A.J. Epenesa LB Leonard Floyd DE Poona Ford RB Damien Harris S Micah Hyde CB Dane Jackson DT DaQuan Jones DT Linval Joseph CB Cam Lewis DE Shaq Lawson LB Tyler Matakevich RB Latavius Murray DE Jordan Phillips S Taylor Rapp DT Tim Settle WR Trent Sherfield you cant extend a guy until he plays three years.

I heard the new stadium will have upgraded luke warm showers for the visitors.

Can not help but think with his stingers this year after the fusion surgery that it might be time for him. That was a great read and it just sucks they could not be getting ready for Baltimore. This will be the end of the line for some guys who laid it all on the line including Micah.

This made me laugh. I love how the narrative is like the Bills lost because that kick was missed. Nevermind everything leading up to it, the fact it would only have tied the game and given the ball to Mahomes with enought time and timeouts to get in FG range. Also, if they could tackle Pacheco knowing they were going to hand it to Pacheco they could have gotten another shot to get back in range.

I can't wait until dabolls system is gone for good!!!!
Matt_In_NH replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
I feel like I always have to say this whenever Dabol's name is brought up. He was a frequent target of this board to be fired up until 13 seconds which is now the only thing people seem to remember is how the offense was playing at the end. The Bills scored 9,10,14,16 points in 4 games that season and people wanted his head. -
People will be very upset the bills will have to sign or draft a lot of DL. But there are no numbers there and a lot of work to do. I am good with a first round WR. But people expect too much there. Need to get young and talent at safety too. I would consider some cap moves to allow for other players now and in future years. Morse Poyer and White is what I am thinking.

Just let it play out. I get it tearing an ACL at 33 is bad and it might take longer to come back or he may never get back. I saw some things the last two weeks that makes me think he may not be done. An offseason may be what he needs to get back and be the guy we expected to have. I would not just throw it out, you cant after all with that contract. Be angry if you want, the guy tore his ACL and probably came back too early.

nostril damus predictions for the upcoming season

I smell a rat -
It was so frustrating that Brady did not adjust to it quicker.

Agreed, you could tell something was up.

Anyone wish we were down by 4 at the end?
Matt_In_NH replied to Jukester's topic in The Stadium Wall
No, I think their intent was to score a TD, if you get to 4th and 9 its good to have the option to tie even though that is really a last ditch effort thing. If the FG goes through, the Bills are probably still a 75% chance to lose. -
Maybe the most incredible stat of the night

The defense was warm butter
