Interesting Bills storylines to watch during training camp

We will say its the guy who previously looked like Von Miller ...kinda like Prince and his symbol -
How close is Allen to Mahomes if all things were equal?
Matt_In_NH replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
The argument with be coaching which has some merit but history will never see it that way, The 13 seconds things is so annoying because it never should have happened and it plays into the narrative that you cannot avoid until you beat him. -

I should have not included the injury risk thing....yes I was saying what I think others would say. I agree the reality is Jackson and Burrow have been the ones injured. In particular Jackson, he gets hobbled his effectivity goes in the toilet. Allen has played through things and finds ways to still be effective. -

Mahomes 15-3 in the postseason with 41 TD passes and 8 INT's Allen is 5-5 with 21TD passes and 4 INT's. If you add in rushing, you can argue Allen is better or same in both regular season and playoffs, there really is not a lot of difference in either. We could break down stats but they are both outstanding in the postseason. 15-3 vs 5-5 easily breaks the tie, 0-3 vs Allen vs Mahomes drives it home. All things considered you want the guy who is 0-3 vs the other guy who has been to what 5 straight AFC championship games, 4 SB's vs the guy who went to one championship game and lost to the other. What exactly are you considering? -

Just from postseason, if you pick Allen or anyone over Mahomes you are a homer. I would like to think Allen is two but that is not as clear to me, number one is obvious but there is a big gap between him and the next tier, of which Allen is a part of. Turnovers and "risk of injury" based on his style would be things point to as knocks on Allen. -
I just watched.....the conversations are a little less sophisticated that I would have thought, honestly not that different than you hear on talk radio in a lot of ways. "How much wear and tear" on the RB, they use age 27 as a gage, the number of RB's in FA....stuff you hear and read a lot about , etc.....They had a spreadsheet they showed that I would love to see the details behind.

Shanahan has the exact issue McDermott does. McDermott has beaten tomlin and harbaugh in the playoffs and regular season. Campbell and mcvey and shanahan. …1-0’vs all of them. People don’t know what they have. Why is stefanski on this list? -
The Bills have over $10 million in cap space- what is Beane’s plan?
Matt_In_NH replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Practice squad, replacement guys, slush fund for something at some point if it is the right guy. -
Agree with all of that...sometimes you have to make hard decisions. In this case, what is the best decision for the Cowboys, it is not all that clear to me....

Josh Allen.......over/under 10.5 Rushing TD's???
Matt_In_NH replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ray Davis could cut into it but anytime they get to the one yard line, I expect the sneak at this point. Josh Allen is an exceptional athlete and defending the Bills down near the goal line is very difficult because of that. He can easily eclipse 10.5, its more a matter of how do the Bills decide to play it. In past years they threw 1 yard TD passes, last year there were some sneaks. Not caring about stats, the most efficient thing to do is sneak it. -
Not if they are not willing to pay him that

It is way more likely the takes about his concussion having these dramatic affects are just by people on the internet who actually know nothing about what they are talking about and he is just a douche.

Yardage Predictions for Bills Receivers in 2024
Matt_In_NH replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not going to argue with that, I would add that the team philosophy wants to push running the ball more than most fans care to accept also. His numbers could come down but they don't have to. -

OP said this explicitly.....your range of 3900-4200 would make it his lowest season since he broke out, so same thing just one is pessimistic vs optimistic....and I will say your is more pessimistic than the OP was optimistic based on previous years totals. -
A db in you want. Any fridge DB should practice kicking into the drop zone. It could earn them a spot on the 53
-
Not sure how likely or possible that is. The inheritance tax is very restrictive.
