  1. I don't remember saying just play man. I am not an NFL coach, but I am certain the game plan yesterday was the correct plan with the Bills talent. Pressure always helps the DB's look better and any the Bills got Mahomes was easily able to side step and minimize the impact. I don't know what the answer is but I believe the Bills defense can play better against that team with the right plan.
  2. There was not a lot of creativity in the post season compared to the regular season. THey had a couple jet action runs to convert first downs but nothing to result in big plays, they had a nice statue of liberty thing they set up in the regular season, where was that? All the passes with WR's and whatnot, I expected to see something in the post season. In game adjustments did not appear to be there either compared to the regular season either. Some of it is you are getting better efforts by the opposing teams, but I agree, there seemed to be a lack gameplanning to the Bills advantage in the post season. The OL seems outstanding at pass pro but awful at run blocking. I know guys have different skill sets but I put this more on mentality and tone setting.
  3. I would say missed opportunites to make a tackle vs actual missed tackles.....they seemed to just prefer to have a foot race with him
  4. The Bills had a bad gameplan more than lack of execution. The plan to play zone and let Kelce be open continuously did not work out well. The Cheifs played man, took advantage of the fact the NFL throws less penalties in the playoffs by being agressive with our WR's. We did not choose to take advantage of that as much.
  5. I don't agree with your first three points, not that it matters. But to me the Bills were out coached on both sides of the ball. The gameplans were lacking and any adjustments did not work. The Chiefs scored on every meaningful drive other than the first drive where they had a drop. For me the game was not closer, it was probably worse than the score with the gift TD in the first quarter making it closer. One TD would not have changed much, if the Chiefs needed more points they would have had little trouble getting them. The Chiefs just had a great gameplans vs the receivers and the Bills did not counter it. Allen should have run it more since they were playing man and more passes/checkdowns to the RB's and TE's on schedule may have gotten them out of their scheme. We needed to counter punch but had nothing. On defense, they did a decent job against the run but apparently to do that meant they just did not cover Kelce. On Hill's long RAC play, they could have tried to tackle him near where he caught it but instead they just kind of watched him run. They got little or ineffective pressure on Mahomes, Epenesa ran past him like a fool on one play. Bottom line, the were out played on both sides, a play here or there was not swinging this game. I agree with 4 and 5. The Bills needed to counter what the Chiefs were doing defensively, taking away the WR's. Run and thrw to backs/TE's on schedule would have helped get them out of that.
  6. Rough game on both sides of the ball. Great season though. Go bills!
  7. I feel a nice long drive that spudders inside the 5 coming on.
  8. Chiefs obviously have a nice defensive gameplan. The bills have no answers in the red zone.
  9. Don’t see those types of hits much anymore.
  10. It’s the bend bend bend bend break defense?
  11. If you can’t get to mahomes fairly quick he will eat you up. The answer is pressure. Not sure how to do that.
  12. Daboll needs to make some changes in philosophy. The deep routes are taken away. Slants screens. Something has to be there.
  13. Three straight road wins and then they get the SB at home. About right.
  14. It was a penalty but at that moment the way they called it all day? Come on! BS
  15. Rodgers made an awful decision on third down. Looked like he had a chance and certainly would have gotten it closer. That pass had no chance
  16. I don't remember the first one, I was alive but I have no memory of it. But I put that third because it was a WC game, not to say it was not meaningful. I fully remember both the other two and the Carlton Bailey play is definitely bigger than the Taron Johnson play. I say that because the Bills could not sniff the end zone in that game, they were not going to score and Denver only scored one TD but as the game went on they moved the ball more and more, they were the better team. That play won the game for the Bills even though it was not at the end of it. Without that play the Bills lose and don't go tot he SB. With Taron's play we cant say it was the deciding factor, it ended the game for all intents and purposes but we cant say the Bills would have lost if that play had not happened.
  17. Crap I plugged in my vcr but I don’t have a vhs tape. Anyone have one they can email me?
