We can make a long list of “missed” draft picks from amy gm. Is the team winning? Maybe judge based on that? -
I really hope Mitch Morse retires.

A lot of speculation here. There has been a lot of changes to equipment and protocols since the 70’s. Lots of guys get lots of concussions and are not Webster. But there are risks for all players not just Morse. If you feel this way we might as well root to end the nfl for good. -
He is so lanky and rarely squares up for contact. Always on the wrong side of a block this year.

He looks so darn soft! All year......he is always on the wrong side of a block.

Sean McDermott is the 2nd Best Coach in Bills History

Jauron was the best. He just needed some more time -
Even if Brady was on the team and the Bills swept them at the end of his career, what would that really mean anyway? The damage is done, beating an old man proves what? Is the game "monumental"? Only to the Bills and Bills fans, but it is. Is the season over if they lose? They could win this division while losing twice tot he Pats they way this season is going....but if that happens it wont feel right to me.

The Bills are the better team, no questioning that. But we will get Belicheck's best effort this week. They will be in desperation mode....if they lose this game, while it does not end their season, it makes their playoff chances very very low, he knows that. The best path forward for them, and us is to win the division. BB has a large ego and there is nothing he would want more than to continue to have success after Brady leaves, after everyone counted them out during a 3 game losing streak. In some ways, he and the Pats have nothing to lose, it is expected that they should lose this game. I do not expect a blowout, this game will be close with calls having impacts, stupid penalties having significant impacts. If the Bills can't stop the run it could get embarrassing. Allen gets a little over hyped for big games, hopefully he can get settled in quickly. I truly believe if the Bills dont shoot themselves in the foot they will win but they need to go out and actually do it.

Bad weather expected for Sunday

The best teams are chameleans...they can do both well when and if they need to. The Bills have not proven they cant run the ball, rather they have been one dimensional on purpose. -
MONGO! Feliciano activated

I find fans reactions to these plays fascinating. I wish there was an alternate reality where we could see the exact same play except the roles are reversed. Diggs playing the roll of Perriman and a Jets safety delivering the blow and then putting the forum reaction of both side by side. I dont doubt for a second the opinions would be a complete 180.

I have a bad feeling about this game, probably just beat down from 2 decades of not being about to get past these guys. Living in NE, I really need t hem to win this game. There is no excuse, the Bills are better. The mistakes need to stop and you need to stop the run, these guys will run it down your throat like the Chiefs did if we let them. And BB usually makes life difficult for Josh, and then Josh gets overly amped/tries to do too much.

I guess the OP has an axe to grind with Aikman.....which is fine. Aikman did say "Allen proved me wrong" about accuracy. Anyway, Aikman's stats or success as a player are totally irrelevant to his job as a commentator, he needs to judge the players no matter how good or bad he was as a player.
-
You can’t compare his era to today. Completion percentage in the nfl is way up. If you did you might conclude Allen is better than Aikman.
-
I don’t agree they should dial back complexity. The penalties was the one argument you gave other than the complexity itself. When there is a perceived lack of success on offense people tend to blame it on coaching. Defenses are clearly dealing with josh differently since the first 4 games. A lot more zone and not as much man. the bills did not punt today. Or score a td. So they moved the ball well between the 20’s.....really well! They need to finish better/execute better. The presnap motion and subsequent reads are important.
-
I dont agree. Illegal formation and false starts are unforced mental errors not caused by playbook complexity. That can happen no matter what the complexity is. This is more lack of focus than too much complexity. I do think maybe they need to make some strategy adjustments though. More called runs for rb’s is needed IMO.
