Ed Oliver vs Aaron Donald Physical Comparison
Matt_In_NH replied to Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
Aaron Donald was NFL Defensive MVP multiple times before he ever played with Von Miller. From the numbers shown 45 of 86 pressures came in the 12 games after Von Miller arrived, which means that 41 happened in the first 9 games assuming the 12 games included the 12 playoff games. So 45 in 8 games with Miller vs 41 in 9 games without is something but does not necessarily equate to resulting from Miller. There could be other explanations like quality of opponent. Having said all that, I am excited to see what Ed can do this year along with Rosseau/Basham. Miller should help them. -
well we don't need to panic though, it could be something minor.

Not to mention you can dress 8 OL and bring in a tackle when you want the beef -
Obviously we dont know the seriousness but back surgeries are generally not too good for football players.

OT: Belichick says that Mac's improvement is "dramatic"

Hopefully it will be as dramatic as Epenesa's last year -

There is mixed messages with him. No doubt the staff likes the man and the leadership he brings. But in the spring Frazier said he needs to make more plays. I think McDermott said this because Josh is the leader of the offense (and team really) and Edmunds as the defensive signal caller is the leader of the defense....today. But he is not nearly as permanent as Josh is, this can change. I would not be surprised if they extend him but also would not be surprised if they move on. For me this statement does not equate to "he is definitely getting extended".

Yeah, this technology will never work just like flat screen TV's and high definition. Lets go back to the black and white TV's built into furniture.

Anyone remember why was the greatest comeback not on local TV?

That definitely adds more cost which is likely a non starter. My answer to that is why? People who dont want a dome want the weather advantage against Miami in December/January. Would you open the roof if it was 20 degrees and blowing 15 MPH with some snow? If not then what is the point, cover it for bad or mild weather and keep it open when the weather is nice? To me, its dome or no dome, the retractable thing you see in the south.
-
No one is arguing against that. Everyone knows the BIlls have existed since the 60's and never had a dome. But there is a history of dramatically reduced attendance during bad weather so a lot of people have dealt with it by staying home, that is the point people are making. I don't have a dog in the fight, its done, it wont be a dome so everyone needs to get over it and move on. The biggest reason may be the added cost. If the cost was similar you might have seen more traction.

The revenue the ticket generates is from fans who live out of market who want to watch their team. That is the golden goose I always laugh when people come up with these ideas that would result in them paying less to “just watch their team”. Lol if it was not for people wanting to watch their team the demand would be like 5% of what it is.

Apple is great at extracting money from people. I highly doubt you will suddenly get it for nothing.

The only Josh Allen Run That Needs to Go Away
Matt_In_NH replied to JESSEFEFFER's topic in The Stadium Wall
Personally I want him to run less in general but it truly is a cheat code. His rushing yardage has been 600+, 500+, 400+ and then last year 700+. I think in the three hundreds would be ideal for a year assuming they can compensate with more passing yards or more rushing yards from others. I truly believe you will see a lot less called runs this year.
