It would be good if we can compare the grades at the time of the draft vs the grades 5 years later based on how the players performed. I wonder if there is any correlation between the two when you look over the years.

You know you have a great team when the roster is so good you hope for a couple guys to contribute from the early picks and then just want the punter of your dreams. Then it happens and the fan base is totally satisfied.

I wouldn't have minded the 4th being used on the Punt Jesus dude but I trust Beane. If he thought it needed to be done then fine, value wise it was an even trade depending on what chart you are looking at. If Elam had a clear higher grade than everyone else in the draft at that point then it is probably worth the 4th rounder. There must have been someone else willing to trade in there is my guess.

I seem to remember most of the rumors last year turned out to be not true. The two games are totally plausible, Hopefully the Bills don't turn Detroit into the Jags game from last year, that would suck in the early window on a great holiday. Should be over by halftime...
