I remember Wentz was headed towards an MVP before he was injured running into the end zone. They were 11-2 and he had 32 tds or something. Lots of examples of guys having career years and then not sustaining that. The eagles have no wrs and their OL is banged up bad.

Not all kinks can be worked out. There is something to be said for raw physical ability but there is also something to be said about on field results. In the case of Josh Allen, he played in a week conference on a bad team and had limited playing time. So there was reason to believe his kinks could be worked out, but it was not a sure thing. Which is why he went in the top 10. It will never go one way or the other but a guy like Josh and assuming he continues to play well will make it easier for a team to "take a chance" in the future.

The small sample size comment was relating to this year since his stats were being called out....THIS YEAR, the forum merged my two comments. He has 12 punts this year, on the first website I went to to look up punter status, he was not listed because he was too few punts. The second comment was a quote that was talking about the Titans game only. You took my words out of context and are making assumptions to line up with your point of view.

Small sample size. Where you line up for a punt matters though. In that game the titans punts allowed for those opportunities for the punter while the bills were punting from farther away.
