  1. Problem is any normal NFL player gets up to full speed within 10 yards or so, so no way to reduce collision speed. The reason punts are lower collision is the ball is punted very high w hang time and players need to slow down to make a tackle.
  2. LOL Fantasy tank. first ever.
  3. He has only played a few games. #getittogether
  4. Flat out busts do not start for Super Bowl contenders(Chiefs) and otherwise play meaningful minutes. Yes someone needs to "get it together" Well lets see. MD plays the middle. Virtually all the run gashes by Saints, especially in the 23 consecutive runs, came up the middle. So yeah Chris may be on to something here.
  5. Yes agreed. Bills have a knack for drafting players other teams want later down the road. Bills are 9n ABC order: Chiefs Eagles Pats Rams Saints 49ers farm team.
  6. Yeah injury on top of injury. Lets just hope it is not that jones fracture Sammie had.
  7. When I sat in my car in my parking lot at work listening intently on radio to the breaking news spilling all over the airwaves that it has been confirmed that Terry Pegula had entered into an agreement with the trust of Ralph Wilson estate to purchase the Buffalo Bills. Not a rumor not hopeful but confirmed. Finally a ray of sunshine had beared down on the Bills franchise. Hope of better days to come was in the air. I can not explain that feeling. It only comes around a few times in a persons life. The whirlwind that followed with Pegulaville and first press conference was almost as good at times especially when Terry announced: "My name is Terry Pegula and the Pegulas just bought a football team. Actually, that’s not totally correct. (Pauses) I knew that this was going to happen. We all just bought a team. Our team: the Buffalo Bills. The name of our team will not change. It will stay the Buffalo Bills. I was humbled by you, all the fans, and the outpouring of emotion that I saw when our name was announced as the winner of the bid. I could not believe the pent-up fear of losing the team that was released by you, the fans. I just happened to be in Traverse City, Michigan watching the young Sabres play in that tournament up there. I was driving home, and I don’t want to say I didn’t have anything to do, but I put the radio on and WGR was on and I could not believe what I heard from fans. The one guy we’ve talked about is JR from the Dominican Republic. We want to meet him because I think he was the first caller and he was awesome. The raw emotion was amazing. Probably will never be duplicated until Bills win a Super Bowl.
  8. The money ESPN pays him is reduced from the money Pegs owes him for his Bills guaranteed coaching contract. It is called offset language. It was reported he had offset in the contract. IE: ESPN pays him 1 million to play announcer and Pegs then gets to pay him 1 million less than the 5 million he would have had to otherwise pay him. Next year then same offset if Rex still working, until Rex contract with Pegs runs out.
  9. I hate that response.......lol you have a point though. I was projecting my opinion on you. sorry.
  10. Considering there is a very good chance the 1st rnd Chiefs pick and 2nd rnd 49ers picks may be back to back or one pick between them it is likely Pats would not have accepted the Chiefs pick for Graps considering also they do not want Buffalo to have him in division.
  11. Rex is fine as an announcer. He is paid to be Rex. Network wants him to draw attention right? And be himself without crossing the line by being vulgar etc etc..... As for the comment he is taking Pegs money and not coaching. Yes he is but you must remember he was fired. No one would turn down the contracted money he is owed and I also give him credit for taking a job and not on vacation for a couple years. By working for a network he is saving Pegs offset contract money. The Rex hate needs to just stop. He is gone now.
  12. Sadly yes this is most likely outcome. It is not the preferred outcome but It is hard to win in NFL. I called the Dick Jauron hot line.(cold line) They agreed.
  13. What?? At that price? That is less than league minimum for vet of his type.. $615,000 is min for 2nd yr player that any team would have to pay him if he is on the 53 man roster. http://www.spotrac.com/blog/nfl-minimum-salaries-for-2017/
  14. Peter man don't the Pats have a message board?
  15. yeah I was not expecting much this year either, however, they found themselves at 5-2 and easily setup to put a foot on Jets throat and be 6-2 at same time killing Jets season. But we can't have that now can we. Bills fans just can't have a good thing for an extended period of time. We are cursed like no other.
  16. ha ha...... yes incredibly it now looks like Bills do not have enough drafts picks for upcoming draft.
  17. It was Zay Jones fault. He motioned to O'Leary to turn up field and start running. Just joking on Zay fault but he did motion him and probably prevented O'Leary from tossing the ball to ref which would not have gone any better likely.
  18. That is painful as hell. I guess we should be lucky the NFL did not schedule the Bills against the Browns on game 8 thurs night football this year.
  19. Lol. That was one looooooong commercial spot. I mean like SNL tooooo long skit level ****.
  20. MD ranked as one of the top 20 run stuffers this year.
  21. The next draft looms large. A lot of holes to fill.
  22. He went out a 2nd time. Is the injury serious now?
  23. If we ever see Tolbert out in the flat on a 3rd down swing pass again every offensive coach should be called off the sideline into the locker room, stripped naked, fired, and pushed out the back door.
