Ryan Fitzpatrick Signing with the Bucs
cba fan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Are you sure about that? There was an article about brainiack Fitz(and I mean that as a positive) that his class of friends from Harvard were doing better financially than he was and he wonders if he made the correct career choice.(throw in CTE risk and it is more career choice remorse) Tough crowd to compete against in these Harvard graduating classes. To be fair I think the article was before he signed his first mega deal with Buffalo in 2011. -
No sure fire Franchise QB's in 18' draft class
cba fan replied to KellyToughII's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I guess you stopped short of reading the rest of the article then. After McD said that, he then immediately did a 180 pivot by answering a question, he actually asked himself no less, and said TT is not guaranteed to even be on the roster this year. I get what you are saying. I would like to have Matt Barkley over TJ Yates right now though as b/u or potential bridge if Taylor implodes. -
Brady's wife reveals he had concussion last year

He is not the GOAT according to Tom Brady himself. And he never lies. I am kind of worried about you. Why all the crying? -
New LA Stadium Won't Be Ready Until 2020
cba fan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah it has been a year and all they have done is move dirt and now started driving a few pilings. Something must be slowing them. If they think like most Bills fans who loudly refused to support Bills if they moved to Toronto....they will not get too many roadtrippers. I get the Rochester talk in ref to distance, however, Rochester comparison is apples to oranges. There was never a team in Rochester that then moved and forced fans to consider supporting them in another city with different name 2 hrs away. -
Zero1 helmet making debut in NFL for 25 teams
cba fan replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You are correct as players many times are shortsighted to long term health effects for short term monetary benefits. This new Zero1 is different though. It increases peripheral vison considerably, virtually to the human limit. I did not spec it all out but I bet it is lighter also which reduces whiplash etc etc....... The big deal is the crumple zones inside and the flexible soft outer shell reducing G's significantly. Add in players that have demo'd it and tested it have all come back with positive recommendations. We all know you can not stop the brain completely from rattling inside skull on hits, but reducing the g forces to head with this helmet will reduce this rattle. Even if this would reduce the onset of CTE symptoms and other negative brain effects for a number of years this would be a big improvement. Many players are going to continue to play for many different reasons. Let's do all we can do for them. Now lets get on with more head protection: no fighting in Hockey, no headers in soccer, head protection in boxing and UFC(or ban both now as they are poster child for brain damage) better head(and face) protection for baseball players, same for hockey/lacrosse/rugby, stiff penalties for anyone taking off helmets and fighting. Maybe every sport should wear this ZERO1. -
Antonio Cromartie: 14 kids

It's the "one drop" rule. Gets them every time. With these guys it is always the "off" season. -

Chargers Release Orlando Franklin
cba fan replied to thebandit27's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Teams do this every year. It is a salary cap issue the cba tried to sort out with the reduction in cap hit for vets. Maybe Orland Franklin does not qualify for this cap savings yet. -
Antonio Cromartie: 14 kids
cba fan replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He has goood Cromarti-somes. Seriously it was reported years ago he wanted to retire but could not due to the child support. Not seriously: I heard he had twins and asked his wife if both where his. -
I don't think that blue was darker. It was overcast and the color on that vid is off. You can see the red around stadium wall is darker than normal. The helmet looked dark as the facemask WAS a darker blue and looked very dark against players face. The equipment manager from that era told me they could not get the desired blue they wanted for facemask and it always came in too dark, so decided to change to white facemask because it made the helmet look too dark. Also that the white brightened up the helmet considerably in tests. They had similar problem with center blue strip until they started putting white backing on it to prevent the mix of blue on red darkening it. It was a cool 80's look though.

What if Peterman is better than Mahomes??
cba fan replied to bisonbrigade's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How does arm strength improve on a fully developed mature adult.?? Are you saying in college were his arm strength is clearly on the order of Trent Edwards and not on TTaylor or Cardale Jones level, that they would not have worked to increase it with weight program, technique etc etc......?? That now the pro team will magically be able to increase his arm strength? How doe this work.? Does it involve steroids or the magic water Brady pushs? PS: I am excited having this guy on the team especially at 5th round value. I hope he develops. If as evaluators have stated, his ceiling is Kirk Cousins level, it is a big win for Whaley's draft. -
so they are rebuilding the early 90's Bills then.?? except that that was never normal in Bills parlance.

What if Peterman is better than Mahomes??
cba fan replied to bisonbrigade's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This whole thread is irrelevant as stated. The question is will Lattimore be better than Tre White. Lattimore is the pick Bills targeted per sources. Saying Bills trade is a fail if Mahomes is great and Peterman is bad is like saying trade was a fail if Chad Kelly is great. Or Truibisky or Watson or who ever is great as Bills could have traded up for them. Or saying if any QB not named Peterman that was picked after spot 10 is great than Bills trade was a fail. -
Most Exciting Last Minute of a Bills game ever?
cba fan replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How can we forget Cowboys without timeouts and the Bills Defense coordinator refused to defend the only pass play that could get the Bills beat. The out route. Twice. Greer stripped TO. onside kick bounds into Bills territory no less. Romo completes 2 wide open out routes with no timeouts. It was a 53 yd FG. -
$6500/yr for 2600 sq feet built in 1930 with potential real value if trying to sell of approx. $150,000. If you can wait 2 yrs as it sits on market. In North Central IL. yeah pay 4.3% of market value every yr in RE taxes. In less than 24 yrs I pay more than value of house just in RE taxes. Indiana caps it at 1% so for comparison this house would have $1500/yr in property taxes in IN.

F the Pats and their cheating ways. No respect here for them.

It never ends. Even the smallest minutia can not be explained in any coherent way. KIM!!! Please get to the office ASAP and bring your communication degree. Help these guys get information out. I know you can do it. This is like last year when it was reported Bills would not have a throwback game as none was listed on schedule and Sal reported no throwback game based on just that little investigative research, by his crack interns I presume. To then Bills actually having a throwback game.

McDermott preaches character & integrity.
cba fan replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agree 100%. Yes we do not know all the details and most posts are a lot of speculation. I believe Pegs likes Whaley but knew it was just not going to work. Pegs seemed genuinely sad to have to let Whaley go. That is why I put in the media whisper of Lynn. I hope what you speculated is more true than what we know now and what media has speculated so far. In the mean time I will still support McDictator until he proves he can not coach. He projects a lot of confidence in his coaching/leading abilities. So we have Hope. -
If Sammy has a breakout 2017 year - How will the office feel
cba fan replied to sidbuff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No way could they excercise the 5 tth year option as it was guarenteed for injury. (why that would be the case I do not know) Too big of a risk. If he fails physical Mar of 2018 Bills on hook for all of the 15 mill or so for 2018. -

Sorry you have not followed this. They never gave Whaley any power. Real GM's hire the coach. Whaley did not hire any coaches. Brandon lorded over Whaley on his first draft that resulted in Watkins. Whaley wanted Hue Jackson. Brandon wanted Rex. He got Rex. Whaley wanted A Lynn. Pegs wanted McDictator. He got McD. He drafted for ea coach sys to then need to draft for new sys when coach was replaced and/or coordinators replaced. flip flopping d 3-4 to 4-3 to 3-4. o changes etc etc..... McDictator then says Whaley and staff did a phenomenal job. KC GM says deal was setup with Whaley. Pegs admitted Whaley did the whole draft. While media whispers Pegs privately admitting to friends he maybe should have gone with Lynn. Then booted him hours after his phenomenal draft ended. On a Sunday in am..saying decision was made after a process, after draft, a draft that just ended a few hours ago. Pegs saying no GM candidates have been considered yet and next day Panthers GM Beane interview is reported in the works. Only a tone deaf person would think McDermott did not have a hand in Whaley fired or that the decision was not make weeks ago before draft. regardless of what dictionary you look up the word in. This is all poor integrity. Whaley made mistakes and arguably could be said he needed to move on. But to do him like this was wrong. He was powerless. Then Coach working side by side with a guy he knows is fired just to ring out the draft is low life corp world behavior we live in. Don't get me wrong. I hope McDermott aces this gig. But the start stinks. -
Where are we at on 2018 Comp picks ?
cba fan replied to Paul Costa's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A lot of nice comments on this thread, however, no one seems to answer my origional question. Would you do what I propose, if NFL allows it, in order to get the 3rd rounder or not? -

cba fan replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
in·teg·ri·ty inˈteɡrədē/ noun noun: integrity 1. the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness. "he is known to be a man of integrity" synonyms: honesty, probity, rectitude, honor, good character, principle(s), ethics, morals, righteousness, morality, virtue, decency, fairness, scrupulousness, sincerity, truthfulness, trustworthiness "I never doubted his integrity" Not one part of above describes what McDictator and Pegs did to Whaley. Regardless if you liked Whaley or not. So it would not surpise me in the least if what has been rumored could be true in regards to draft data poaching.
