Hopkins released by Arizona (7/16: signed by Titans)

Idk....I kinda lean more to what @BADOLBILZ mentioned few posts up....In that they did think that going into last season and had much confidence in Gabe that he was ready so was easy decision to give him much more playing time and definitely seemed the chance would be pretty damn good for him to be a good #2 Now I'm not so sure they feel that same way. They know now he didn't quite turn out how they thought Edit: Just to add, I don't think anyone can say it was bad decision etc. We all thought the same way, if not you're likely lying. -
Idk, back then at the time it was big win, but I think some still feel it was more than it actually was. I think that game may have seemed much bigger than it was because of the state of the franchise at the time. Fans emotional and desperate for something and the basically guaranteed loss to the Pats year after year. So was so much emotion then (and rightfully so) along with how it happened coming from 21pts down, it was special...but at the end of the day it was a week 3 win

Agreed, pretty much everyone gets that bit of, guess you'd call it "extra excitement" when Josh takes off because he does amazing things. I fully agree about the designed runs though, definitely need to cut back. And adding to your statement in bold, that's correct and it probably goes without saying here, but also the Oline protection (or lack thereof ) along with that being the 2 main issues.

Won't surprise me if one day we see a thread pop up "When will Tyrod be brought out for a Bills legend of the game"

Playoff offense is just as much an issue as defense

Just to jump in here briefly to say that's certainly the way I remember it happened, now jumping out -

Probably also was almost like protection didn't exist for Josh. -
First I wasn't referring to him rushing, I was talking out the backfield type passes with his speed if getting him into space..... that being said, I'll still address your question, he is also a threat as KR/PR so that plays into it. He won't have very many opportunities rushing anyways unless injuries become a big factor but certain issues like the screen game etc type plays is clearly an area Bills need to figure out. If they do that then he has the speed that as you said any one of "20 UDFAs" may not have. Well yeah, you don't take touches from Cook. I'm saying if he rotates in once in a while or maybe ends up getting more opportunities due to injury and can catch the ball with just a little bit of room he could definitely make some plays

Lol, imagine the amount of porn he gets paid to enjoy

Not sure I'd go quite that far lol.....I think he could do well with his speed if can ever get him the ball in space. And we know that's something that needs improvement getting each of the RBs involved. I mean I'm just saying I don't think he's hardly had nearly enough opportunities yet to know how useful or useless he is in this offense.

Lol, I enjoy the dedicated ones that refuse to base their logic off truth. It can get entertaining at times

The Allen-Diggs Relationship in Decline?
Patrick Duffy replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah I'd assume majority of us know it's nonsense and clearly Josh would never do such a thing. There's always someone though lol -
I can understand to a certain extent where you're coming from about this. Although I do get the impression that you're not taking any other factors into consideration and only taking a single factor of just Josh for this issue. It's more that plays part for generally every issue and have to look at the whole thing. Things such as play calling, Oline protection issues, and drop off in WR talent (specifically the slot), elbow injury etc. It's more than just a Josh problem is my point.

That is of course is taught and is best thing to give one the best chance to survive, but could still not work sometimes

Oh wow!! Shocking to hear. Young man should've had much more life to live. Sad situation and hate to hear it
-
Yeah for sure he has to protect the ball a bit better and work on the fumbles. I tend to agree about finding certain players that may be open on some of those shorter routes etc and also just his overall decision making at times could be better.... But I think it mostly begins with Oline improvement (as you mentioned) with better protection and allowing a little more time in certain situations than he's had up til now, that likely would be one of the biggest factors needed for improvement in that area.

I do think the slot position will be better and have better depth compared to last season...in which case could help the other areas to an extent
