    For those that say Hyde lost a step last year, could you point out some plays where that was evident? Hyde is a monster.

    How can charges be dropped when none were brought against him to begin with?

    If the judge agrees to it but the defense still would get to cross-examine the victim/witness. There has to be reasons other than the fragile state of the victim. A lot of times that will happen for an expert witness, like a Doctor, who can't make it to testify during a trial.

    OK, if this rule gets implemented the 4th and 15 should take place at the defending teams 15 yard line. Less field for the defending team to cover and makes it more difficult on the offense. Also, at the snap, the clock runs. If successful, you get the ball on your own 35, where the kickoff takes place from.

    Well, a few years back they did change the rules of how an onside kick needs to be executed....so why can't they change them again? I like the 4th and 15 idea better than what they currently have but not as good as what they used to have. Also, make this 4th and 15 play from your own 15 yard line. I hope they don't do it from the 35 where they kickoff from.

    And one should get a 20 year sentence when they threaten the use of a firearm to get that money.

    As a person who deals specifically with the investigation and prosecution of these crimes I can tell you that many, MANY victims just can't handle the court room, leading to plea bargains with lighter sentences. When cases like these go to trial and the defendant is found guilty, my experience is the judge usually drops the hammer.

    The last three SB's have seen good defensive efforts make a difference. Defense is still important in this league.

    Yeah. Krueger sucks. Probably the worst coach since Rolston. But these players are also a problem. Individuals. No leaders. No cohesion. Nothing.

    Therein lies the problem. Bylsma, Housley, Krueger. How many coaches can you go through until, just maybe, the responsibility lies at the feet of the players? IMO, this is the most talented Sabres team I've seen since the Briere and Drury days.....but it isn't working. There is no jam at all with these guys as a group.

    Right? I mean, Eichel, Reinhart and Risto are all around 25 years old right now. We TRIED to build around them. How much longer do we keep trying until they have absolutely no value in a trade?

    Ralph, Eichel, Reinhart, Skinner, Hall....they all need to go, though Skinner will be impossible to trade. Risto should also be shopped at this point. Keep Dahlin, Cozens and start another rebuild. Yeah, I saw it. Great leadership there by the Captain. Especiallt since it was his fault.
