I agree that this draft has good and deep RB talent which brings me to this question. Would you package Shady in a trade up to the 2nd pick if it meant keeping our 1st rd pick in 2019?

I would take our QB's over Arizona's as well. Glennon is proven hot garbage and Bradford is a guaranteed injury risk.

Im talking about how many mistakes GM's have made evaluating players from the draft, or FA players who are back ups with very little playing time for evaluation. For guys like Taylor, McCarron or Jimmy G you are looking at college game tape and probably talking to the HC, OC or QB coaches of those teams for evaluation info.

The entire NFL also passed on Tom Brady in the early rd's. All you can do is watch his college games and watch his playoff game against the Steelers to evaluate him. I think he is a upgrade to Taylor and he still has some upside. I think if you put talent around him like Foles has with the Eagles your looking at a 3,500 26 TD's and 11 INT's season.

I agree with you 100%. I would like to see us trade back and pick up another 1st next year and see who falls to us this year. Wentz and Goff were two can't miss prospects, I only rate Mayfield in that area.

My prediction about the QB's in this draft are that Mayfield and Falk will be the QB's that will be good top 10 QB talents. Im not sure about Darnold and Allen and QB's I wouldn't touch in the 1st rd would be Jackson, Rudolph and Rosen.

I think Nix and Whaley were the major factors involved with this team taking a dive into the red. I wonder how much of the hard work that these GM's really do. For me it would be day and night compiling info on so many college players. When you hear Mike Mayock talk about draft prospects you can tell he has put in some major hours into evaluating players.

Their are going to be a lot of teams with lots of cap room in 2019. The top FA still have to want to play in the snow and weather conditions in Buffalo. If The Bean trades up in this draft with the Giants then he likes two QB's in this draft. So much draft capital to part with, it must suck to know if you choose wrong you killed and set the franchise back at least 3 years.

If Watson doesn't learn to stay in the pocket and trust his arm he will be injured every year. Watson could develop into a top 5 QB if he just avoids contact at all costs.

Everyone is copying the Patriots pick and roll offense that they don't get pentalized for.

I haven't stated one yet but I was thinking about doing it before the draft. I think Luke Falk will end up being the better QB when it's all said and done.

I've watched him play and he does do a lot of the same things that made Taylor so frustrating to watch. He has poor field vision, takes off running instead of trying to make a play passing and he has trouble reading defense's. I would be surprised if the Bills had him rated as a 1st rd pick.

On top of that this draft has a deep talent pool that will probably push into the 4th rd. I see our picks being more valuable this year because of the talent of players in it.

Two year ago none of us would've expected Foles to be super bowl MVP. The Eagles have a talent level advantage, 2 big WR's a good runnng game and top 3 TE allowed Foles to play above his normal level. If you put McCarron in the same situation I wouldn't be surprised to see him put up good passing numbers.

Either way Barkley is gone at pick 1 or 2, I'm guessing Darnold will be the 1st QB taken.

If Cleveland takes a QB I see the Giants getting their card in for Barkley faster than any team ever has. Judging by the pro scouts I'm guessing Darnold will be off the board at 1 or 2 depending on what Cleveland does. I have no idea who the Jets might be targeting at QB. I agree, if a guy they like slips to 6 - 10 range then I would trade a few picks to get him.

The Jets have to be banking on their being 3 QB's in this draft that they equally like. My guess is Darnold, Allen or Mayfield.

You have that good of a QB eye where you can say Lamar will be a better QB than Taylor? Both are athletic QB's, Both have trouble reading defense's, Both have poor field vision, Both have happy feet, both are not accurate passers, Both will take off and run first before trying to make a play passing the football. I think all the QB's In this draft are over hyped with exception of Mayfield.

Are Lamar Jacksons family members logging on to team message boards to hype him up? Seems like it's happening on a ton of boards with new posters pushing their Jackson propaganda. I'm sorry to tell them that he's dropping into the late 2nd or 3rd rd where he should be.

My question would be what is easier to draft? A space eating DT or a MLB that can drop into coverage, fill running lanes and pressure the QB.

I agree I think the most important player in McD defense is MLB. He's the guy who is usually the QB of the defense, supporting the running game and dropping into pass coverage.

I think McCarron could be a very good QB and outside of Mayfield I don't see really good QB talent like Wentz or Goff. I would hate to see us trade most of our early picks for one of the QB's in this draft. If someone drops to around the 7th pick I wouldn't mind trading up for them but I don't want to trade our whole draft for a QB.
