Looks like they went for like clean/modern type look and ended up with boring.

I dont think the drop off is thaaaat huge, but lets say it is... Cook isn't going to sit out the season because not only would he not get paid but he wouldn't accrue a season against his contract. That means next year he would still be on the same contract.
-
I have no problem with Cook trying to get his best deal. I also don't think he is worth paying $15m. No idea what Beane is offering him either, but I did see in some thread they were apparently close. If they are just bickering over like 1 or 2 million then I think Cook should be willing to sign that. $15m is too much for a RB not named Barkley or Henry IMO. Cook played great last season but thats just one season.

Caught these two videos about hard knocks on my YouTube feed. Sharing for those interested. Nothing earth shattering. Just some interviews with the director of this years Hard Knocks. I think he said he is from Rochester. Bet thats cool for him.

Cam Lewis is a guy that is not a star but he plays multiple positions at an average level. Coaches love players that can play multiple positions. He isn't going anywhere. As a back up he is very good. I agree and thought this the whole time too. Yes, he has some turnovers. Its those same turnovers that are also the superstar plays that people cheer for. Not all the picks are his fault either. The only ones that bother me are the routine plays that he should have seen coming. Of course everyone would like to see turnovers toned down. I still want him making those superstar, only QB that can do it, type of plays and if it costs a turnover once in a while so be it.

If they aren't that far apart then just get a deal done.

Not sure if this has been posted anywhere before but this is a pretty cool drone fly around that this YouTube channel does. This one just came out 2 hours ago.

I was never one that much cared about bringing the red helmet back, but damn that brings back the feels. -

Might be some of it on hard knocks when it comes out. They will be there. Maybe WGR will do some kind of radio on it. -

I feel for you. I had a DRs appointment over there past the stadium. It was at 1:00. I was grateful. Traffic was kinda bad even then and it wasn't even stadium traffic. I wonder what Josh will wear today. Usually its an off color helmet. -
Bills have a playoff problem..It’s not Josh Allen (Warren Sharp)
Scott7975 replied to BillytheKid's topic in The Stadium Wall
I feel like we haven't had that guy that has that play when it's crunch time and their number is called. Allen is as good as it gets. Defense is terrible in the playoffs. Just look at what Philly did to the Chiefs last year. Even if you don't expect that, 13 seconds should never happen. Then you look at the offense. Diggs drops the deep one when his number is called. Tough catch but thats what you are paid for. Kincaid could have played that last ball way better than he did. Just as a couple recent in memory examples. Those things change game outcomes. Those are the things we rarely have. -
It also neglects how much time Josh sat out in the 4th quarter and sometimes the 3rd quarter as well. Does this also include the last regular season game that Josh wanted to start in, just so he could say he didn't miss a game?
-
True, it's just a message board. My opinion would be in the neighborhood of $10m. Maybe $12 with incentives. I'd also want to see him have another season like last year for that. I'd want to make sure that he wasn't just a one season wonder. I like him and I'd like him to stay but not at any cost. I don't think he is a Henry type of back. I also don't value the RB position as much, even if it is making a comeback. I also don't think he is some generational game changing back that should be getting top dollar.

I don't care what Cook does to try and get his best deal. Thats his business. I don't care what the Bills do to try and sign him to the deal that feels right to them. Thats their business. Like most everyone, I do have opinions on his worth but really that's not my place. All I care about is Cook is ready to play come gametime.

Browns Laugh Of The Day... Their Posting The QB OTA Stats
Scott7975 replied to corta765's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't follow this stuff much. I know there was some drama about him sliding in the draft and thats about all. Why wouldn't he get a shot? I agree. Flacco is a walking corpse at this point. He might make a couple plays but it's not going to be good football. -
Who was invited to Josh and Hailee's wedding?

If they wanted the good pink fun, they knew who to invite. -
It's like when Miami fans thought they were getting prime Poyer.

Purdy and 49’ers extension. 5 years 265 million
Scott7975 replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree. He is decent but isn't elite. They aren't going to be able to keep an elite team up around him and that team is going to head towards average. -
No thanks. Don't need to see 2 route Davis have more miscommunications and 50% drop rates. That and his typical yearly injury that is used as an excuse for why he is bad all season.
