I don’t like this game for next week. I’m not a blame the refs guy, but this has been kinda disgusting tonight. Crosby is getting mugged. I like some of the raiders ideas though. 6 linemen has been a big success. Ferrell jamming Kelce on the line. I could live with Rousseau following Kelce around and jamming him, then spying or rushing at Mahomes after.

I agree. But they already have a ton of younger talent. I guess my only point would be a coach might think they can win with that roster now. They are nowhere near as bad as they have been this year. But they’ve fallen apart offensively since they fired Brady.

That’s a bad take. He’s not that guy before ever taking a snap. I can’t agree there. I have no clue if he’s good or bad but he hasn’t even played yet.

We have no clue what they want to do. Cause they don’t lol. They have Corral sitting on IR who may or may not be their quarterback. I don’t look at their roster and see a rebuild. I see a need to develop talent which Rhule could not. If the next coach is Sean Payton or someone who is from the offensive side of the ball I would think CMC will be a vital selling point in landing that coach.

Hurts is making the right plays. He was knocked for only being a running quarterback but he’s making some great throws. I think he’s taking that step towards elite status now that he’s got 3 legit weapons to throw to. And the defense is pretty stacked. I wouldn’t want to play them right now. Their only downfall as with most of the better teams is health.

Carolina is not as bad off as people seem to think. They have a really nice core of young players hitting their prime. And a lot more promising talent on rookie deals. They don’t have to sell. They are not about to rebuild. They simply just need a coach and someone who develops the talent they have. Corral is sitting on IR if a new coach likes him as well so quarterback might not be the huge need fans think. And they are not going to want moss or cook or singletary. They already have Hubbard and foreman and Blackshear to carry the load if they did deal CMC. Better be looking at sending Epenesa or Basham along with some picks.

I don’t see why Carolina would sell him off. If they want a proven coach like Sean Payton or something I would think having CMC around would be a selling point for that coach. That team is not that bad, Rhule made them that bad. They have Corral sitting on IR. They don’t have the ammo to go get a proven quarterback and are destined for a top 5 pick if not #1 overall. What’s the point in dumping mccaffrey unless you are confident he’ll never be healthy.

They have a really nice core of young players. The division is getting weaker by the day. If a coach felt they could win with any of those quarterbacks it’s a really nice job to step into.

An Edmunds extension likely frees up quite a bit. Don’t flame me lol but it’s probably the biggest savings he can free up.

Chicago with that amazing offensive line and the super elite David Montgomery and Khalil Herbert combo.. Definitely on a whole different talent level than Buffalo. Has nothing to do with the 30-40 rush attempts per game.

I couldn’t believe after the game Burrow said there’s just nothing down the field if teams play defense against us like this.. Uhhhhh welcome to buffalo and KC in 2021… Time to adjust young man. The crazy thing is they have Joe Mixon who carried them through parts of the season last year and he is the key to stopping the two deep safety looks.

Most years I can see scenarios where they could make moves. I know they can free up some money to make a move but I don’t think they will unless it’s a real emergency situation. I’m sure there’s gonna be a ton of CMC and Saquan chatter amongst fans, now somehow DJ Moore is being mentioned a lot.. But those are super unrealistic imo. Adding an established star level player on their second contract is probably not possible.

I like Edmunds more than most. But Pickett worked almost exclusively to the outside yesterday if my memory is correct, Edmunds wasn’t missed. Pass rush was/is/ and always will be the key to the defensive success. If they want to get the ball out quickly like Pickett did yesterday I’m confident in the secondaries ability to make the tackle and limit the YAC.

This is more a week to week situation right now. Shakir has now shown plenty that he HAS to have meaningful snaps in this offense imo. Squeezing OBJ in is only an issue financially. He’d fit fine, I’m sure they can free a spot when he’s healthy. We’ve just had too many injuries that it seems like a struggle just to field a full lineup. This has been a next man up situation all year and so far they have all held up and some even exceeding expectations.

He never should have fired Brady. The offense was on a constant decline ever since. Guy was making desperation moves last year like they were a contender. When in reality they could have saved all those draft picks and money and just kept Teddy Bridgewater. I’m happy to see him gone, he looked like he was ready to go. They put him out of his misery

I almost called this last Thursday in the upset thread.. The jets win, breece hall with the scrimmage yards.. And the Iron Maiden part I was a little bit off. But it was awfully close.

Hey great game.. But I’m not putting any titles on him. Tyreek is definitely more deadly getting behind coverage deep imo. Jefferson is on fire 20-40 yards down the field. Gabe reminds me of Mike Williams in LA. He has the same kind of knack to get behind coverage.

Seems like a silly move for Atlanta. They just reworked his contract and are eating a lot of dead cap I read. Didn’t see how much. Easy dart throw for Cleveland hoping he plays better when he gets healthy

What was he supposed to talk about? Blowouts are really hard on announcers. He covered a lot of material.. And how many announcers actually know the history of who is playing well, draft picks they hit on and how a rebuild was done? Maybe the guy in his ear is feeding him info but he generally seemed knowledgeable about how they built this team up. Half the announcers don’t even know most of the players names

I’m pretty sure Mike singletary could of played today and stopped Trent Richardson.. Oops I mean Najee Harris. Pickett was throwing outside all day. Edmunds wouldn’t have mattered on those passes. Quite silly you went out of your way to bash him when he didn’t even play. Not the fan thing to do.

We could have Skylar Thompson out there?? Josh Dobbs?? Can’t be deep all over. At least Keenum has experience to get the play in and get everyone set to the line. The experience to understand the playbook. I’m not worried about his throws to tanner gentry in blowout time. If there’s some wind I wouldn’t expect Keenum to be accurate father than 10 yards anyways.

When your best players are Richie James, Danny Bellinger, Daniel Jones… And we’re surprised they are a run first team? Before today they have roughly 40 more rush attempts. Weird they’d have better rush stats with more attempts every game.

I get the running back part, but in some cases like CMC if Carolina is eating a lot of the money it’s not the worst idea. I highly doubt he’s worth a 1st rounder right now though. I don’t see how they maneuver the cap mid season to fit any contract of significance in though. I know they can free some space up, but I don’t think that’s something they’re gonna unless it’s an emergency.
