  1. He’s 30, which seems the danger zone for safeties, but the fact he’s a little older may be the only reason we might be able to afford him. I don’t think I’d wrap up too much guaranteed money, though.
  2. If we are going to pay him 20 million, why don’t we just play him?
  3. Only thing that worries me is safeties hit that wall fast and hard. He could want more than a 1 year deal.
  4. Yup, that was McD and Babs putting him in excellent situations. No clue how his coverage grade was so high when he allowed 83% completions for 9.5 yards per.
  5. No, only because I’d like to package a few picks to get into round 3 again. Future WR, FS, NT, CB4, RB3, OG4 QB, TE, OT, C, SS, SLCB, LB, and K/P we are good. They’ll still at some 1.7m dollar FAs also.
  6. As long as there are no cryptic tweens and he’s on board to answer every media question, fans should be good to go…
  7. Cook is under contract for 2 more years, I can see us drafting his clone/replacement next year. 4th/5th round power back wouldn’t shock me.
  8. CS is like 20/29 on deep balls too…
  9. You know what would be funny? If Diggs was actually totally happy here (like he’s said) and planned on retiring here (like he’s said) and was a great teammate (like players have said). Yet the constant BS from the sports media and seemingly 50% of the fan base that fall for it made him decide to go elsewhere. He would probably never have a good thing to say about ‘Bills Mafia’ after, and rightfully so.
  10. They’ve been together since he was drafted, good for them!
  11. Yes they did, but they do have some talented LBers on the roster at OLB, young coverage LBs. Will be interesting, just stinks for him!
  12. Seattle just signed Jerome Baker, I don’t see any way Dodson is now a starter. Ouch.
  13. Do we know what number he’s choosing?
  14. SS will be this year’s MLB, where the coaches have a guy they love but the fans don’t see it.
  15. That’s a good pickup for them, they traded for a solid RT a few days ago as well.
  16. Agree, like John Brown+ THAT is the kind of WR Allen loves, though. I’m legitimately pumped for this WR room, I think after the draft we will be even happier.
  17. Samual absolutely can play outside, but a unique quality our top 3 WRs now have is outside/slot flexibility. All 3 are effective in the slot, and all 3 are effective out wide. Samuel reminds me SO MUCH of prime John Brown. Kincaid/Knox also are effective in the slot, Cook out wide. Brady must be drooling.
  18. FA CB conversions are options as well, both Hyde and Poyer had been former CBs in their career prior to Buffalo.
