I've called it Stockholm syndrome before. I get the feeling many embrace being "lovable losers" who skeet mustard on some dude and jump through tables. Just getting a whiff of success is all they are capable of dreaming of.

I don't really follow the cap, but I am concerned about some of these contracts. I imagine the only way to turn this around sooner than later is to have a couple home run drafts, which Bean doesn't seem capable of.

Even if we were lucky enough to move on from McBean, the large contracts given to average/injury prone players have set the franchise behind for years.

I don't think the current version of the Bills can beat a team with an elite defense. If the offense sputters, I don't see this defense keeping another team below 20 points. Basically there will be no 14-10 or 9-7 victories.

This entire season has felt off, and even when they win it still feels like a loss.

Their defensive backs can instantly drop a tank of a fullback with the first contact. Our defense typically takes 4 or 5 guys to stop a running back 9+ yards downfield.

Is it possible for this defense to ever takle someone with the first man?

Well we all know if the offense has an off game the defense surely won't be able to bail them out.

I have "severe" adhd according to the shrink I went to a few years back. I always suspected it. While I loved football and cherished big hits while playing defense, I never was good at studying a playbook, lol.

I'm sure some will take this the wrong way, but is he on the spectrum? It feels like he isn't quite neurotypical. There are lots of undiagnosed people on the spectrum, and being on it doesn't mean you have the stereotypical appearance and require a caretaker.

I get that he is amazing and the reason the franchise has been as good as it has been. Some of you apes act like it's a personal insult if anyone complains about a throw.

I love Josh as a player, and that was a beastly run. He should not be immune to criticism for obvious whiffs. Fortunately the pros are outweighing the cons. I'm sure he would agree. Recognizing mistakes is how you improve.

At this time Cook is one of the few extensions that is money well spent. I fear Kincaid will be our next Milano contract. Dump a bunch of money into a guy who absolutely cannot be depended upon to stay healthy. I feel like his best value to the team will be as trade bait for a more durable player in a position of need. Maybe the Bills are just unlucky, but they have a history of giving big contracts to guys right before they disappear due to injury. Tre White, Milano, Von Miller, Ed Oliver, and a few free agent WRs all come to mind. They spend so much money on guys who don't play.
