Ha. I've probably passed by your mill 25 years ago when I was stationed at Ft Stewart. However the mill I work at is in Idaho. We might have a couple short outages per year but there is usually a big one every 12-18 months. A bunch of us worked 20-60 day runners for the major outage last year. Thats why so many were sold on the "no tax on overtime" bait and switch. I say bait and switch because it's my understanding the people actually working overtime make enough money that they don't qualify for the overtime tax break. Meanwhile people making low wage likely aren't working much OT to begin with. So who is this for?

Lol. I work in a paper mill with hundreds of US citizens doing shift work in miserable conditions. We tolerate it because for the area it pays well. Though everyone hates management and the way they are trying to run it into the ground.

I am glad I live in the pacific time zone. When I was stationed in Georgia it always tripped me out how late the games were on sunday/Monday. Just used to living out west.
