  1. I'm so pumped for the addition of Cooper. I said all along that if Beane made a move for a WR that Amari was the guy to get. He's here now. Barring injury, I already know what happens next. Get ready. 😎
  2. Allen or Dez Bryant, hopefully. He needs to really sharpen his route tree to be Keenan.
  3. Franklin looked just fine last night. I wonder how many catches and yards Coleman would have with Bo Nix as his QB?
  4. Mike Williams is cooked. Dude managed to amass $84M in career earnings on sheer potential.
  5. I don't disagree necessarily, but I have Walsh and Montana right there.
  6. As a wrasslin fan, this is great! 😆 The Rock church-shoes-sliding People's Elbow is his best one 👌🏾
  7. Amari will run circles around every receiver in our current group. Who is McDermott kidding?
  8. The story about how they found out they were cousins is great.
  9. This was the move, not Adams. Good stuff, Beane.
  10. Rodgers has a highlight reel for Hail Mary's. That's like the 3rd or 4th one that I can recall that he's successfully thrown.
  11. Ray ran with a purpose last night. That was the difference.
  12. The temp tag on the minivan expired, forcing me to put the hard tag on. With that came a Buffalo Bills tag bracket, naturally. Also, prior to the start of the game I saw a guy in the grocery store with a Bills pullover and hat on, to which we exchanged "Go Bills!" greetings. I'm in Maryland.
  13. Important win. Rodgers is the greatest Hail Mary thrower in NFL History. Ray Davis has made me a fan For all of McDermott's faults, the team plays hard for him. Especially the defense.
  14. Looks good to me. Don't let the angle fool you.
  15. DeVante is not worth the gamble, the money nor the headache.
  16. I like Higgins a lot, but those soft tissue injuries concern me. And there's no way Cinci trades him. This is the last hurrah of their core after losing Mixon.
  17. Don't you find it funny how Samuel can produce on a team like Washington with Sam Howell at QB, yet isn't doing squat here? It isn't the player.
  18. The NFL season is 17 games not 3. This team is not that good and adding a 32 year old malcontent to the WR room doesn't magically make everyone else, Brady included, competent. If they want to add Hopkins or Cooper, fine, but I'd stay far away from the guy who's mad when his team wins without him having a gaudy stat line.
  19. They could have just, ya know, drafted him. I fully understand people wanting to add talent to this team, but I want no parts of Devante Adams. He's going to cost a ton, is the quintessential diva WR and he's 32. Adding him to this current roster does not propel the Bills to Super Bowl status, in my eyes. Almost the equivalent of the Von signing, although I can forsee slightly better results.
  20. I suggested changing the offensive philosophy all together and taking the ball out of Josh's hands and everyone laughed. I'm telling you right now, we need to adopt a Detroit Lions Gibbs/Montgomery type of offense for Josh or it's only going to get worse year by year. Josh is uber talented, but he is not going to gunsling this team to a Super Bowl. I've said it 1,000 times. My comparison for Josh has always been John Elway and like Elway, he's going to need a stout running game to get this team over the hump.
  21. You have way more faith in we humans than deserved.
  22. You know exactly what I'm saying. I've stated it twice now. They're skirting concussion protocol. We see it with our own 2 eyes. "NFL executive vice president Jeff Miller said that Guardian Caps have contributed to a nearly 50% reduction in concussions for the position groups that wore them during those time periods." Whether or not this is true, who knows? I'd wager it's better than not having the extra padding.
  23. The denial is going to be funny. You can't all out escape the risks, but you can mitigate it by following the current concussion protocol or wearing the more protective helmet design. You're absolutely right that it is a choice.
  24. Nowinski had his WWE career ended by a string of concussions and has been on the forefront of concussions in sports for a while now. He fully understands the dangers and is quite aggressive with his assertions. It's going to be funny 20 years from now when this issue is taken far more seriously than it is now with everyone claiming, "We didn't know any better," when they absolutely did but CHOSE to ignore the experts.
