  1. Ask any professional gambler what they think about NFL officiating, in general. You've got to get past the Grand conspiracy theory part. It's not scripted, where everyone knows the outcome, but a well placed, back-breaking call or 2 is sometimes all that is necessary. I never questioned anything until the tuck rule. Then the 2005-2006 AFC Championship game (Colts-Steelers) and Super Bowl that followed. (XL) - that was just a sloppy 2 weeks for the NFL. Win, lose or draw, the NFL shares the bulk of its revenue. There was actually a time, not long ago, where Walt Coleman was 11-1 against the spread when his crew worked Pats games.
  2. I didn't know that was a rule, but it makes sense. Walt Coleman should have been behind bars years ago.
  3. Is everyone assuming the Bills are going to win down in Miami? This game is no gimme.
  4. Yeah, I mucked that up
  5. So the AFC South and the NFC North with Ravens and Titans (who also finished 2nd in their divisions) as the "odd ball" games.
  6. Tyrod is a good guy, but if you're content with him as the Bills QB I feel sorry for you. As a Bills fan, you have been beaten into accepting mediocrity. AND McBeane doesn't receive near enough heat for passing the no-brainer that is Deshaun Watson.
  7. They could have had him locked up for $20 mill per season the year Osweiler was signed by the Texans. They blew it. Currently, Kirk would take up too much of their cap and they have lots of holes to fill.
  8. Fun FACT: As a full time starter, Cousins has never had his feature back rush for more than 752 yards. For those counting, that's 47 yards a game. Yet he still puts up stats and has still led his team to the playoffs.
  9. With that defense and a healthy Fournette, absolutely! If Allen Robinson comes back healthy next season, that's officially the best team in the NFL on paper.
  10. It may not be up to him if the Skins use the transition tag.
  11. Not buying it. Dorsey is smarter than that.
  12. What talent does Cousin's have around him in Washington currently? He has carried them to 6-8. Washington is a 3 win team without Kirk.
  13. Good thing the Eagles gave up on Nelson Agholor.
  14. Dirk Koetter, if he's fired by the Bucs.
  15. That's entirely possible. I heard last season that Watson's game wouldn't translate or the stupid, "he only throws 49mph" argument. I mean, really?! But here you have a 5'11" QB with small hands and GLARING character concerns and it's completely ignored. Doesn't matter, really. This is just me venting. The Bills aren't drafting Mayfield. I'd bet my house on it.
  16. No Baker Mayfield, eh? Good! I'm liking this regime more and more.
  17. How is it that so many posters were absolutely against drafting Watson last season, but now want Johnny Football 2.0 this time around? Help me understand.
  18. There's no such thing as a cap friendly deal for a franchise QB.
  19. Do you think Stafford is worth that?
  20. Tyrod to Denver makes absolute sense. I actually said it in another thread.
  21. The Bills would be fools to not look into signing Cousins. They won't have to break the bank to sign him either. Kirk will go to the best situation for him, his family and his career, not strictly to who pays him the most. Being a DMV (D.C., Maryland, Virgina) area resident, that's what I gather.
