  1. The majority of people will look at this development for what it is and not what it might become. Kyler, 24, could be scary good if it "clicks" for him and he matures. Not exactly what you want to hear about your franchise QB, but this is the situation. He's already above average at the position without studying film. That's impressive.
  2. You pay impactful players, regardless of position and you don't overpay for role players.
  3. The 5252 mark, like on a vehicle dyno chart. The point in the rev range where horsepower and torque will always cross paths. For athletes, I liken it to the point where athleticism (torque) meets IQ (horsepower). 30-32 is about right.
  4. For me, Drew Brees. Not that he's terrible or anything, but his stats don't match his standing amongst the all time greats. He's hovering around 10 for me and I'm not including Unitas, Staubach, etc because I never saw them play.
  5. Go look at Emmitt's numbers year to year. While he may have benefitted from a great line, he himself was a beast! It was a great combination. His durability alone, given his usage, is something to behold.
  6. To play with Josh for another Super Bowl ring, he absolutely would. It only raises his profile and he'd be a free agent again next season.
  7. The Packers defense is absolutely the reason he hasn't made it back to the Super Bowl. In 6 of his 10 playoff losses, the opposing team scored between 31-55 points.
  8. For a 1 season, half year rental I'll take OBJ all day. Winning the Super Bowl this year should be priority #1.
  9. Injuries are always a concern, but I feel like the Vikings have more room for error...on the offensive side of ball, at least.
  10. I'm going to go with Minnesota. Green Bay can't afford injuries this season and they're bound to happen. Also, I believe the Vikings' new pass oriented approach makes Cook that much more dangerous.
  11. ...and DeAndre Swift and Goff isn't terrible. They have a pretty nice collection of talent.
  12. You were pretty accurate with your first post. Not sure why people get so touchy about it? I often wonder why the Wizards aren't an attractive destination for NBA free agents? The DMV area is affluent and diverse with plenty to do, plenty of 5 star restaurants and close to various bodies of water. I never take offense to it.
  13. He'll have his best chance maybe ever to draw interest, having the defense he does currently.
  14. Hard to argue against given his size, arm talent, speed and elusivness. To boot, he seems to have the work ethic and overall drive to be great. Vick is on record stating that in his stint with the Falcons he relied almost solely on his natural ability. He didn't study the playbook or put in the work to improve as a QB. A waste, but also damn impressive seeing what he was able to do on the field.
  15. I almost feel bad for DJ Moore, but I then I remember he's making $20 mill per season.
  16. Everyone "knew" where coke was coming from as well. What they didn't know was how many people in high places were actively working behind the scenes to get it here.
  17. Yeah, Bell actually spends time in the boxing gym. Not sure what AD does with his spare time.
  18. On the heels of the R. Kelly verdict, me thinks Deshaun is headed for a minimum year long suspension.
  19. Gibson also played against the Mexican and Puerto Rican Leaguers.
  20. Boom! Josh Gibson > Babe Ruth
  21. Yep, thats the one. I'm thinking of the Bills-Cowboys game we won before losing #4 months later. 🙃
  22. Was that the 10-7 game? I have that recorded on VHS somewhere.
  23. Ask that question in 2 years. If you know anything about crypto, you'd know that is nothing new, was expected and will pass. 1 BTC was $2,000 in May of 2017.
  24. I actually expect Burrow to make a good leap this year and have the Bengals winning the North. They have too much talent not to.
