  1. Sorry eball I learn a lot more from these questions, than Chris Brown option question or John Murphy's useless soft ball questions. Jerry Sullivan: Are you concerned that the WRs only had 4 completions on the day? You just said it was a group decision, now you're saying it was a business decision, which is it? Matt Fairburn: What can you do to generate a pass rush, only 1 sack on the day? Rather than... Chris Brown: How are you going to celebrate this win, go home with family or start film study with Coaches? John Murphy: Coach can you describe how magical it was to run out there as the Bills Coach? I don't learn anything with the company parrots lobbing in their softball questions. You get better when you have to think about problems, when things go wrong. That's how you discover the thought process behind these decisions.
  2. I have no problem with Sullivan. He pays attention. He remembers the decisions of the FO and holds them accountable. Like Schopp, he goes back many years. I like the negative first style. It's on the Bills to prove they can end The Drought and win something.
  3. The question with most Bills in the later half of this drought has been; we've seen running the ball, hitting a few timely passes, and playing defense is good enough to beat the bad teams, but can they beat good teams this way? The answer last season was 1-7*. Do they Bills have the Coaching to throw the ball down the field ? I'm skeptical on that. Do they have WRs that can get deep with vertical speed? Very skeptical on that.
  4. Positives 1. Time of Possession 2. Secondary looked faster, Trey White, Gaines, Poyer and Hyde were flying around. 3. Tyrod escaped 2-3 would be sacks out there. Negatives 1. Stop trying to get the edge with Tolbert. We lost yards on that play at least 3 times. Stupidest Moment 1. Todd "Marrone" Bowles punting from midfield on 4th-8 with 4 minutes to play in the 4th quarter down by 2 scores.
  5. The Jets were a 2-point conversion away from tying the game late in the 3rd Quarter. That said, it was a Bills formula victory - running the ball, controlling clock, making a few plays in the air when needed, creating that frenzy in the secondary.
  6. Problem is we hear this every year from our team. Every new Coach has the right idea, the right plan. Some fans fell in love with Chan's reputation with offense, others bought Marrone's tough guy act, I thought Rex would do better with the defense than he did.
  7. Good for Bennett. Cops have guns and badges and you don't and they abuse that power daily. Easy to say when you make almost double what the highest paid player in the league makes.
  8. 13-9 Jets, that's what I wrote earlier in the week. I think the Bills can win, but I do think it's going to be an ugly game between two teams that can't score. You could see a halftime score of 3-3.
  9. Taking what the defense gives you Make that WR think twice about going over the middle Sending a message to your team Halftime adjustments
  10. How are the Bills better than the last few years when they have finished with an aggregate 8-8 record? The talent doesn't say they're better on either side of the ball. And sorry McDermott is not getting a pass as a better Coach than Marrone or Ryan just because he is new. He has shown nothing so far.
  11. Fans that rip Rex Ryan have to realize that the people who hired him (Pegula's, Brandon) picked this Coach as well.
  12. Was the team that impressive this preseason? Did the penalties get fixed? We'll see in the regular season, but usually the Coach starts running out of answers in the post game about Week 7 or 8 around here.
  13. Our Coach wants to run the ball because we play in Buffalo, Belichick has outsmarted the league by reinventing how to use multiple RBs as pass catchers, taking over the middle of the field with Tight Ends, using pick routes to perfection, going for it on 4th down, making trades for talented players and is a defensive mastermind to boot. He's nothing like our Coach.
  14. According to John Murphy and Donald Jones, Webb is a do it all player that can punt, return kicks, play WR, slide down and play some NT, be a cover corner, kick field goals, long snap, you name it.
  15. When you Draft as poorly as the Bills do, you can see there is no depth or up and coming players anywhere on the roster.
  16. "And C'Mon man!!! How can people not be excited about our new HC?!" - Well he only talks in platitudes and cliches for one. Everything is a process. He is the classic Topper. He's done it all, seen it all, done everything, knows everything, has every answer. - He is obsessed with Special Teams. - Today he mentioned something like showing "what the city of Buffalo is about". What's that Coach? Workin' real hard, bringin' the ole lunchpail to Factory Job and putting in a 16 hour day at the press? Of course we need a team based on Toughness and running the ball because in December it snows. How does he know what the heck this city is about? He's never been here before and it shows with his obsession with getting as many Panthers on the team as possible. How about a Coach who wants to live in 2017 and develop a top notch passing game? Instead of punts, a Coach that wants to go for it on 4th down and hang 40 on you? Nope we're going to get 3rd Down and manageable. McDermott is joyless so far.
  17. Yup those "negative" fans are always wrong, oh wait actually no they're not, it's been 17 years of no Playoffs. But you're right, let's blindly follow this regime and support every head scratching move they make.
  18. McDermott has not been impressive thus far. Just like Marrone he sounded that way the first time I heard him speak to the Buffalo media. Sean's done it all, seen it all, knows it all. If you have a story he.can top it. Ole' Topper McDermott.
  19. My favorites: - The more reps in OTAs and Training Camp the better you'll be - Now that he knows nobody is looking over his shoulder he can go out and execute - More time in the system - Doesn't fit the system - The biggest jump is Year one to Year two - Running the ball is more important, after all we play in Buffalo - Need that Special Teams versatility - The only thing we can do is work hard and correct mistakes - We're always looking for ways to make this team better
