NFL Week 10 - Vikings at Bills post game thread
Buffalo Ballin replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
?? We still got football games to play. We can give it a rest when the season is officially over. You can be negative all you want and that's fine. I hear what you're saying and I'm right there with you, but we gotta balance with positives. -

Don't panic. This is not the end of the season. We got a lot of football to play. However, 3 points in the 2nd half though? That's not going to win us anything. Coach McDermott and Ken Dorsey are clearly not making adjustments and making bad decisions. -

But why is our offense playing QB sneak in our own goal line? We need to get out of the end zone. Gotta shot gun out of there. -

Josh Allen officially went into mediocre QB mode. I don't know what happened to him. First things first, Allen should stop appearing on Kyle Brandt's ESPN show. He's clearly injured. There are throws he usually makes that he didn't have the confidence to pull off today. As shown in our history starting in 2000s, we usually collapse at the midway of the season EXCEPT for the previous 3 seasons with Josh Allen and Daboll under center. We're clearly NOT the number one defense because we're severely banged up. It's a great thing Beane didn't trade for Christian McCaffery. We really need those draft picks to help our defense and o-line. Coach McDermott is a problem. There are a lot of signs emerging that he shouldn't be the coach after this season ends. There is still a lot of football to play though. Let's see what happens. Leslie Frasier. I don't know. He's definitely not getting a head coach job anywhere. OC Ken Dorsey. Where do I start? He's awful. We can't win coin toss. Whenever that comes up, forget it. We lost that. -
Week 9: Bills at Jets - Sunday Nov. 6th 1pm

Let the haters hate specifically Nick Wright and Colin Herd. Let them keep running their mouths while we prove them wrong beating the opposition most of the time. It's all in good fun. -
Jets DE talking trash about Josh Allen
Buffalo Ballin replied to smuvtalker's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh Allen is definitely going for 5 Touchdowns now. Thanks for the bulletin board material, Jets. -
We needed an experienced plug and play guy, on the cheap, who can step in immediately until Jordan Poyer's injury is settled. We don't have time to baby sit at this point in the season. Dean Marlow is the answer.

Nyheim Hines is a damn good RB wide receiver. His strength is catching so we should have an easier time getting 1st downs even though we're damn good at that right now. LOL.

Jinx didn't work. On to the next game. -
Have you ever seen so many teams "give up" to a team before
Buffalo Ballin replied to Sharky7337's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hey hey easy. We're not frauds. We're legit. No team quit on us. This isn't Rocky 3 where Rocky thought that Mick gave him set ups to box against. -
Gabe Davis is a great number 2 WR. He's gonna get a big extension with us. He has great hands. Those deep passes are difficult to catch. You try to do what he does. We don't need another WR, dude. Hell, we might even get OBJ on the cheap. "We need another WR bad" is not an issue. The issue to monitor is really boosting our defense with injuries to Poyer and Milano.

The Bills won last night because.... (karma reasons only)

Are Bills fans expectations too high????
Buffalo Ballin replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall
Don't attack the OP. Expectations are way too high. Super Bowl or bust? Lame. Josh Allen CAN get injured. Diggs can get injured. Von Miller can get injured and he had a scare last night. Jordan Poyer, one of the leaders of our defense while having a great year, is probably badly injured. We already been here with the early 1990s Bills. "Oh we'll get it again next year. Third time's the charm. 4th? This HAS to be it. We're winning it." Only to get crushed. Expectations are stupid. We should have learned from this. Let's just enjoy the time we have now and let the games play themselves out. -
Congratulations on your future win

OP is jinxing us. We'll see if it works. -
Chiefs made a statement kicking Niners teeth in today 44-23 at Niner's field. 49ers got great defense, but we're in a different stratosphere defensively. Also, it's Jimmy Garrapolo QBing against Magic Mahomes. Yeah, that's not much of an interesting match up. Mahomey and Chiefs are not scoring 44 points in Buffalo. It's gonna be much lower. Like...10-14 points. If we can stay healthy, we're beating Chiefs again even if we play at Arrowhead and we're going to score more than the 24 points we got in the previous match up.

STEFON DIGGS (his best season yet)
Buffalo Ballin replied to Buffalo Ballin's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have full confidence that Stefon Diggs will make Hall of Fame. He been getting huge numbers before he arrived in Buffalo. The 3 consecutive seasons of 100+ catches, 1000+ yards makes Stefon's case for Hall of Fame extremely high. As long as Josh Allen and Stefon can stay healthy. I have to say tons of hail mary's in church for this. -
STEFON DIGGS (his best season yet)
Buffalo Ballin replied to Buffalo Ballin's topic in The Stadium Wall
I only bolded that to show that we never had that before in our franchise; number one fantasy QB and number one fantasy WR. The hall of fame part is the 3 consecutive seasons of 100+ catches, 1000+ yards. Only a rare select class of receivers accomplish that feat; rare air. That should secure his spot. If that doesn't then a Super Bowl ring should do the trick. He doesn't even have to get Super Bowl MVP either. -
We're going to stick with our current RB core. There will be no trades. We need those picks for OL and Defense. We don't have enough money to chase RB Saquon Barkley during the Summer because we have to sign WR Gabe Davis. I bring up Saquon Barkley because Josh Allen likes him. I'm intrigued about CB James Bradberry though, but we don't have enough money to sign him either.

Todd Gurley says he’s done after 6 years in the NFL
Buffalo Ballin replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
While I 100% agree that RBs (and ALL positions) are replaceable, it's the quality of the talent that is difficult to replace, BUT they do get replaced eventually over time. Tom Brady has proven multiple times that a team can win the Super Bowl without the need of an Pro Bowl RB. Sucks for Todd Gurley though. Yes, he was a special breed of RBs in his prime. -
I'm not dismissing the 49ers. They can make the Super Bowl. Jimmy Garappolo is their QB. He's led them to a Super Bowl appearance and he was about to do it again. 49ers has, arguably, the 2nd best defense in the league currently. Eagles has something to say about that. Buffalo Bills being number one of course. I wouldn't be surprised if the Super Bowl is Buffalo vs San Francisco.

Welp. That's all she wrote. Some of us knew that this was just a pipe dream. We'll be fine. No loss.
