We got the Win. Eff it. Move on. Our next game vs. Bengals will be different. Josh Allen is not fumbling the ball 3 times. He might just fumble it once, but not for loss. He's not going to throw 3 INTs either. I think just 1 INT. That's it. I think this will be a low scoring game. It's going to be long and drawn out. Game will be filled with long sustaining drives to eat clock.

Oh no. He shouldn't have spray painted anything. That IS terrible. Re paint over it and do it differently. A full action body shot of Josh Allen hurdling or the entire team in an action group shot would be have been magnificent and well worth the time. Dude has the entire wall to work with and that's it? Hire the spray paint artist "KipToe" to do it.

Matt Milano 1000% earned it. What a super season for this dude. -
STEFON DIGGS (his best season yet)
Buffalo Ballin replied to Buffalo Ballin's topic in The Stadium Wall
Congrats to Stefon Diggs in making 2nd team ALL PRO; another great accomplishment. -
We will run the table. We will do an elbow flying drop through that playoff table. If they do get up, sweet chin music to boot.

4th toughest schedule? The reality is we had the toughest schedule according to Damar Hamlin's death and resurrection, brutal snow blizzards, Thursday nights, Saturday nights, Von Miller ACL, Hyde out, injured riddled Jordan Poyer, and Josh Allen's arm injury. Now we have to run the gauntlet vs. Dolphins, Bengals, and Chiefs, to get to the Super Bowl.

Because the forfeit boys wanted to take another defeat when we already got a major scary loss with Damar. Why willingly take on another L with a "forfeit?" None of the players wanted that. Damar didn't want that. The NFL did not present "forfeit" as an option either. But some of the posters here were loud and clear with "forfeit." That was lame. That's all in the past now. I explained my position in one of those long threads. I'm damn happy we didn't forfeit anything. And yet some posters here still show that defeatist attitude before the Miami match up. Yikes. So we're gonna forfeit the Miami Dolphin game because some of you don't like the match up? No matter who we face, the playoffs are gonna be ugly. We're grinding out wins without Von Miller and Hyde. We got an injured Josh Allen and Poyer. Our secondary is getting lit up. No match up will be attractive.

Gabe Davis will not be benched. Sorry.
-
We shouldn't be benching Gabe Davis. He's still healthy. Team morale gonna take a hit if you bench him regardless of his drops. Just play him and let's see what happens. I'm low on him as well, but he's still a threat for touchdowns and clutch catches.

Defeat makes its' home when a negative mindset sets in before doing something. We'll be fine against Miami. "I don't like this match up against Miami" "I wouldn't have picked this match up" "Worst possible match up" and on and on. Boo frikkin' hoo. We beat them in the regular season in the snow game. There is no need to be Debbie Downers. Fight on.

NFL Week #18 - Patriots* @ Bills - Post Game Thread
Buffalo Ballin replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Love the win. 13 wins for any NFL team in any season is a big mark to hit. 13 wins means that our team is one of the elites for that particular season. And here we are. Yes, we got the 2nd seed. Oh well. We're damn good. - Gabe Davis isn't a number 2 receiver. I thought he was. But he proved this year that he's not. Maybe he's just an All Pro during the Playoffs. Robert Horry, of NBA fame, is like this. In the regular season, Robert Horry sucks. He coasts. But in the playoffs, he turns it up. Maybe that's what Gabe Davis is. - Our secondary will get lit up in the playoffs. Best we can do is get picks and deflections. - We KNOW how to beat Miami. They already threw their best punch a few weeks ago and we won. We gonna be alright. - We're destined to meet Cincinnati in the playoffs. Maaan that's gonna be an explosive mega battle. I'm happy that this match up takes place in Buffalo (if it happens). -
Week 18: Pats at Bills, Sunday 1/8 1pm

The Bengals beating us? It's possible. But it's also possible that we beat the Bengals. There are 2 sides to a coin. We should look at the cancelled game like this: The Bills got a peak at the Bengals' game plan offensively and defensively. Just a tiny glimpse. Maybe that's good enough for us to examine before we face them again. For sure, we can't play JaMarr Chase vs. Tre White straight up ever again. That's totally different next time.

Playoff Solutions Assuming they don’t replay the Bengals game.

Not forfeiting anything. That option is gone. -

We already brought up the coin flip deep in this thread. One poster said that this is a multi billion dollar sport so a coin flip isn't suitable to determine this. (My thought: The money is irrelevant since this about using time wisely because we don't have a lot of time). Another poster didn't want us doing the coin flip because we have bad luck there. We can use ping pong balls, like the NBA Draft, in some way. I'm all for the coin flip. Best out of 3. It's fair and neutral. It really doesn't upset anything. -
Has Taron Johnson injury severity been diagnosed?

This is exactly what I noticed, too. No flags were thrown. It was so obvious on the replay. Disgusting acts by Bengals players. That's why we shouldn't forfeit this game. Just friggin' pathetic from those guys. -

? Vegas had the Bills as the favorites to win last night unless the line shifted at the last minute and I didn't catch it. The game ended mid first quarter. Score was 7-3, Cincinnati. Can't call the game. Too small sample size. If it was 3rd quarter, maybe. -

I humbly disagree. Forfeiting does throw the NFL universe out of alignment: we're not the number one seed anymore. Every little detail matters. So we're not just disrespecting Damar Hamlin, but also Josh Allen, Von Miller, Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis, Dion Dawkins, Poyer, Milano, Knox, the rest of the team, the coaching staff and trainers, Buffalo Bills fans, and the city of Buffalo. Can't forfeit a game when the actual game ended in mid first quarter. Here are the options I'm getting from this thread: 1) Continue the game somewhere (which seems impossible). 2) Give us and Cincinnati a W. 3) Coin flip Take your pick. -

Again, that's why they play games. Real results matter.
