  1. I think that’s normal in a way. If the team isn’t performing you sort of look at the whole complete roster and ways they can improve.
  2. I def remember you writing up some pretty good detailed summaries of the games from those 2009-2015 years. Maybe because I had been away from fandom a number of years before then but I was back with full passion and drank the KoolAid. I’ll always say 2012 was the most disappointing season of fandom in my life. Just in the huge gap where I thought the team could finish and where they actually wound up.
  3. Funny you ask/mention this. A former boss and friend bought some property down in very South Jersey by the shore. I think he’s transitioning toward retiring/living down there, But then he asked me to down there as well. Which I’m just like retired life must be nice. Lol. It’s like over 2 hours from where I live.
  4. Or every year since you’ve become a fan it’s been the same amount of passion every year? From 2001-2006 I did fall a bit of Bills fandom/following the team. Largely a result of being in college those years and not really much stood out from the team. Just in retrospect Drew Bledsoe from memory.
  5. @Gugny @SinceThe70s @ExWNYer Had on WFAN this morning. Listened to lots of unhappy Yankees fans calling in. Especially with Boone. I think this was a point Gugny has made over the years but the Yankees aren't ever winning a World Series with him as manger. A seemingly decent guy but not a championship type manager. The rivalry between the Yanks/Mets to me isn't really that big a thing anymore. I looked at the series as more important to the Mets as getting back on winning track vs NYC bragging rights. In the past I admit I wouldn't have saw the series like that. No biggie on today's game. The Yankees really needed it more than the Mets to win. I liked that Mendoza got thrown out there at the end. I'm a fan of managers making scenes like that every now and then if they feel they're being screwed over. So be it it's not like every day. Then the outbursts lose their meaning.
  6. Brooke Shields was great in That 70s Show in the few episodes she was in
  7. Danny Devito as Frank Reynolds in Sunny in Philadelphia I remember being locked down with Covid during the pandemic and still lost it laughing at this
  8. The 12th man or crowd I think played a large part in intimidating Denver. I would say that was the good old days but the Bills went 10-0 at home last year. It's a very intimidating place to play for opponents I think. See if the new Bills Stadium has that affect on opponents Yep lol. And only negative to 51-3 was he missed a field goal wide right that day as well
  9. I remember him a little from the TV shows Charmed and Nip Tuck. Even though it was years back I will never forget how surprised I was when a co worker was a huge fan of Nip Tuck. Anyway 56 is way too young to die. https://tvline.com/news/julian-mcmahon-dead-cause-of-death-nip-tuck-fbi-most-wanted-1235470895/
  10. Good actor. Have always liked his sister Virginia as well
  11. It never behoved to see if he was somehow related to Chuck Knox until now
  12. I know perhaps some people might get their windows tinted because of the sun or other reasons legit. But if I see I car with them my first thought is always you’re doing that because you’re trying to hide shady activity going on.
  13. I can't ever forget that play. The Bills hopefully are doing their scouting on him since they will be facing him twice a year now.
  14. I will always say in my lifetime Steve Christie made the biggest key play in Bills history when he recovered the onside kick in The Comeback. That was the turning point where that game really turned. And yeah he was a darn good kicker too. It's a no brainer for the OP's final special teamer.
  15. Looks like the one time they won in the last 11 attempts you were on the way home. Bad streaks/slumps happen but they stink right now.
  16. Paul Poszlusny- I remember reading this piece on him in The NY Times at my grandmothers house years back how he was saving his money for retirement in funds and what not.
  17. I find it ironic Fitz has the Jets the all time record for most touchdowns thrown in a season. Especially how big a Bills fan he is now. While I agree with you at the same time though he was nicknamed Picks-Patrick for a reason. I'll never forget the play McKelvin outsmarted him and picked him off.
  18. I think they are still around but not anymore in my neck of the woods
  19. The Gailey years from an offensive standpoint were fun to watch. Stevie really benefited from a coach in Gailey that let him do his thing and Fitz who was smart enough to know his routes so to speak.
