I was only 2 years old in 1986 but I actually was surprised to learn the Yankees won 90 games that year. With how much the Mets dominated the city back in the day I thought the Yankees were at best like 70 win teams those years

I know I can be negative about my job but wow reading some of the threads on Reddit about Jobs today was straight depressing. In real life as well it seems like many people I know feel overworked and overstressed. Been there and still are. This forum and members here through PM's are one of the main reasons I'm still employed! Useful distractions/vents during the days.

It was 95 or 96 I know Kotite was the coach of the Jets in this game. Despite the Jets being pretty bad they usually played the Bills competitive whenever they played in Jersey. Yeah I know the Jets were down 8 and with no time left in the 4th quarter Boomer and the Jets actually got a TD on a Hail Mary attempt. But failed on the 2 point conversion so the Bills won this game. no doubt it was exciting though.

2009 against the Dolphins: the week after Jauron (RIP) got fired. I forgot who the intern HC was at the time but I remember he made some pretty aggressive decisions Dick J never would have and they won the game 30-13. Including an exciting Fitz to T.O touchdown

@ExWNYer @Gugny @SinceThe70s Interesting shopping at more than one mall this weekend and seeing Yankee shirts/clothes on clearance while Mets shirts/apparel are nowhere to be found. Even as cynical as I am about the Mets I take that as the Mets stuff/shirts are selling out and the Yankees stuff isn't. Like the Mets are the trendy team now. When like before seeing people where Yankee stuff and hats on people who well wouldn't know the difference between John Goodman and Babe Ruth. Anyone remember the Mets clubhouse store? There used to be one a few minutes from where I grew up in the mall.

Eye opening to see how huge these free summer concerts in Brazil are to the public. Madonna with over 1 million last year and Lady Gaga with something like 2 million last night. I'll try and watch some of the Gaga performance this week. So yeah will the Bills Super Bowl Celebration parade/party next year beat Lady Gaga's crowd? I hope we get to find out
