  1. Paul Poszlusny- I remember reading this piece on him in The NY Times at my grandmothers house years back how he was saving his money for retirement in funds and what not.
  2. I find it ironic Fitz has the Jets the all time record for most touchdowns thrown in a season. Especially how big a Bills fan he is now. While I agree with you at the same time though he was nicknamed Picks-Patrick for a reason. I'll never forget the play McKelvin outsmarted him and picked him off.
  3. I think they are still around but not anymore in my neck of the woods
  4. The Gailey years from an offensive standpoint were fun to watch. Stevie really benefited from a coach in Gailey that let him do his thing and Fitz who was smart enough to know his routes so to speak.
  5. Giving some love to Tyler Bass. He came up big and was consistent in the playoffs this past season. Including a big field goal in the Ravens game. I know before last year he was my biggest concern for the season. But I was pretty happy for him
  6. https://www.zdnet.com/article/184-million-passwords-for-google-microsoft-facebook-and-more-leaked-in-massive-data-breach/ I personally buy the top of the line products with Norton. Looks like some password changes aren’t a bad idea too
  7. @ExWNYer @SinceThe70s @Gugny After the sweep against Tampa I kind of just thought I mean all right, it's baseball it's 162 games. The team will have a tough couple games/losing streak at some point. Getting swept by Atlanta now does raise some red flags. Not enough to fully panic but some cause for concern. Rebounding against the Phillies would still be a big statement here. Unfortunately they play tomorrow night. No time to lick their wounds here.
  8. I never actually liked these magazines. But if there was someone I found hot on the cover I’d be all over it. Case and point
  9. We are all entitled to our own opinions 🤷‍♂️
  10. Do you think Josh means more to the Bills though than Mahomes the Chiefs? I would say yes.
  11. Or I’ll just say for the sake of argument average quarterback play. I’d say only 8 or 9. Point being I think too much is still put on his shoulders to carry the team.
  12. I actually liked him as a poster but this thread reminds me a little of Icebowl. lol.
  13. Perhaps it was posted in threads in the past but what is the consensus on it? Ive known some lower income people that say they were able to get more accessible insurance access due to it. And supposedly nobody with preexisting cases gets denied. But I see it largely as a disaster imo. Biggest negative I see from it is it influenced these Managed Care models or HMOs with private Medicaid companies. Managed Care soon followed and might replace Medicare soon. Most managed care companies are largely a disaster from the provider and customer side. As Biden said We Killed Medicare.
  14. She seems to get it. A former Democrat. The Dems paid 20 million dollars into research on why men feel abandoned by them…. Stuff that should be common sense. Imo culture is hostile to men especially young men
  15. @ExWNYer@SinceThe70s@Gugny Some of these convos made me tune into WFAN more this week than I have in over 10 years. I was actually kind of surprised how much they were talking about the Knicks. It seemed 2000-2010 when I listen more regularly it was always Yankees/Mets and Giants/Jets talk 95% of the time locally. I thought it wasn't like awful in small doses to listen to the WFAN. But there's only so much of that culture I can take. The host on the weekend was saying Evan Roberts was texting him at 11pm about who the Mets biggest rival is. I mean I know it's his livelihood to talk sports but he really should seriously consider finding some spiritual or other outlets in his life. And hey the Mets are doing what they are supposed to do. Sweep opponents like Colorado not just get 2 out of 3 games (wow Colorado really is bad). This should be a pretty funny YouTube channel for the NFL season. The New York Jokes. Father and son at it again
  16. Haha yeah that song for sure I thought used to sound like the whiniest thing ever. I think it was just the lead singers vocals. But the has a good message.. I grew to like it a little more
  17. Some very very 80s stuff listening too
  18. That's awesome. I started to like her after she had a brief role in that 70s Show. I was pleasantly surprised to she was in this Starter commercial back in the day..... keeping with the nostalgia. I had a Knicks and I think even a Celtics Starter jacket a long time ago.
  19. Most of the games from 2012 I’ll skip. It was a very disappointing season to me and not a good year for me personally. So I’ll get triggered memories kind of thing. I could enjoy watching condensed Bills games from the pasts or highlights
  20. I love them but for whatever reason my cousins eat that stuff up. They are both big Mets/Jets fans. But yes for sure when it comes to sports or just family matters their personalities very much mimic all these in your face hosts. Im guessing though networks like ESPN think you could get scores anywhere these days so they have to stir the pot kind of thing I’ve listened to him over the years. He’s all right, he’s just like very much on the too sports nerdy side for me. Like if my sports loving inner child never evolved.
  21. Sometimes I’ll watch games and somehow magically think the ending will be different. yeah the 2009 Patriots game stands out to me for whatever reason
  22. Joe Benigno I’ve always found pretty funny to listen too. But I agree with all your other takes on WFAN. It’s a horrible station to listen too with too many aggressive/in your face young hosts. the thing with Tiki is he actually has years of experience as a pro football player. But he offers absolutely no good insights from his time as a pro. Sounds like a typical WFAN stooge these days.
