In New Jersey back in the early 90's I remember all the older kids in grade school had Raiders jackets. Sort of like Grandmaster B LOL. I actually thought it was like a pre requisite to being a safety patrol in school. Yeah 49ers and Cowboys jackets were common. Perhaps because the Giants and Jets weren't that good most of the 90s because their jackets actually weren't like popular. Even being in this area. Bills jokes about losing Super Bowls were always around but I never sensed any actual hatred toward them. Starter jackets were back in the day actually pretty common in general..... I will never forget this one Puerto Rican girl I used to go to school with. For years she had a Washington Redskins starter jacket but honestly I'm pretty sure cared less about the team. Remember these guys? It was the style!!!

Like they always push food on you if it’s there or available? My grandmother was like that. There’s some people I work with like that too. I mean I understand a lot of times that’s a sign of love and affection kind of thing…. but it can get annoying sometimes too. lol. Especially if I just ate

I don’t remember these per se But I def remember being a kid at Shop Rite and seeing Christmas ornaments that looked a lot like that for sale with the NFL teams on it. I thought the Green Eagles one looked especially sweet for whatever reason.

The return of the Jills -
All I remember is it was in the basement of a Presbyterian church and I didnt like being there much. But perhaps it taught me my first lesson in open mindedness. The only other thing I remember that year. I forgot if it was a class mom or teacher but she made me some celery sticks which I thought was nice. Problem was I just didn’t like them at all. And didn’t eat them. But today it’s one of my favorite healthy snacks

I think if Fitz started from the beginning of the year and Dick J (rip) didn’t return at all in 09…. They could have snuck into the playoffs I remember a very fun game that year against the Dolphins after Jauron got fired. Fitz threw deep to TO for a touchdown to ice the game. Woulda never happened if Dick J was still the coach

The one thing underrated about Josh is his comedy abilities. I'm still laughing at his reaction when Elvis surprised him for Christmas

Maybe wait until Labor Day? That way some dealers might offer a special up and you can match offers. Labor Day Weekend Special kind of thing. I want to say it was the weekend after Thanksgiving I got a deal on my car. Being a Costco member they had I want to say some kind of discount for that weekend. Then the dealer I brought proof of the price matched it

A life long non smoker I’ve never used a lighter. Even matches I’ve only used them a very small number of times in my life.

Yeah with me they so far exceeded my expectations last year for them I just can't too down on them. Even if I'm not feeling good vibes at the moment.

@ExWNYer @Gugny @SinceThe70s Tough few series here. I'd have to think they are going to win some games again eventually. And the Reds schedule looks pretty difficult the rest of the way. But there's a series in early September in Cincy that might have some huge bearing on a playoff birth between the two teams. But yeah I just don't feel it this year .... Last year there was the Grimace streak which was a lot of fun and the OMG performance. I still laugh at Mr. Met trying to get down during it. But yeah there were intangibles like that playing in the Mets favor I thought last year.

I watched this this week. Followed Bob Hurley Sr during the 2007-2008 season at St Anthony’s. Even though it’s really not that long ago. His coaching style gave all sorts of nostalgic/old school vibes. He was a tough guy for sure. Even with his legendary credentials I’m not sure how today’s generation could handle him. Part of the reason imo why St Anthony’s had to close among other changes. It’s a different world today from even then.

Do the Bills Even Have a Hated Division Rival?
Another Fan replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall
While I don’t dispute that and hear you Sometimes I’m surprised how many Bills fans have totally moved on from their hatred of the Patriots. I mean Brady had more wins in Buffalo than a lot of Bills QBs had in their career. Since the Josh Allen era the Bills/Dolphins history of head to head matchups is pretty even. -
I've watched like the condensed highlights of it. It just looked like a very sort of raw physical game (especially with the weather that day) to which the likes we don't see anymore. Both quarterbacks looked pretty sloppy that day.

The 81 playoff game was before my time but I def know Jets fans were pissed at him that day. I think he sacked Fergy and the ball came loose but he was too busy doing one of his sack dances to notice.

I loved it. Did not know either until recently Method Man was such a big Jets fan. I kind of really couldn't help but laugh at Gastineau confronting Brett. Anyway Brett's proven to be a scumbag at times so he that coming. Despite being Jets: Salaam, Lyons, and Klecko overall came off as high quality old school type people.
