  1. I mean one thing not to be nostalgic about is people generally looked older in the 90s and times before when you see their age. Andy Kaufman for example I used to think looked way older than in his 30s when he died 😕 When I tell people my age they are usually shocked.
  2. They were funny The one guy was in this music video too. Everyone thought she was real hot back in the day in school when this premiered
  3. I love the nostalgia thread. But wanted to start a try and be greatful for today thread The Bills are at the very least a Super Bowl contender ever year Cancer screenings/treatment has come a long way Mental health awareness and things like neurodiversity I see as good things
  4. The Sabres are accepting of new fans I'm sure if you miss the non bandwagon fans. And want to keep in B Lo.
  5. Yep. Somehow the Nets won that night
  6. @BillsPride12 I came across this stub going through my crap in an old wallet I used to have before I even had a drivers license. It obviously hits on the nostalgia meter: the old fashioned ticket stub and only $16 a seat then! But yeah personally it was a group trip with the local youth basketball league and sadly it was one of the last sort of get togethers from the old gang from the neighborhood
  7. @SinceThe70s @Gugny @ExWNYer Still pretty solid overall. There was that 3 game losing streak but even then I didn’t really catastrophize things at all. An off the wall question for the Mets forum….. how much do you dislike the Jets? Since we are Mets fans the two often go hand in hand in this area. Plus the Jets used to play in Shea. I was talking too a Jets fan recently and I’m like yeah I don’t really have much a problem with them at all these days.
  8. When the Giants played the Bills last year or two years ago it seemed Von Miller was the only Bill alive during Super Bowl 25. Yeah it appears you are right…. For the most part I’m pretty liberal when it comes to sports rooting interests, I mean it’s the less serious part of your life. Or supposed to be. LOL
  9. I used to think she was named after the former Bills receiver.
  10. Those fan videos must have really turned me off to the Knicks. The Pacers were up big at halftime and I just checked the score to see how much they won by. And yeah my first reaction was F**k!
  11. I lurked there for a while but decided to join after Rex Ryan’s last game against the Dolphins. Was looking for a place to vent after that day. My thought on that board was it was usually very negative even considering the Bills were in their drought. With some bipolar mania thrown in.
  12. Yeah I hear that i will never forget though how many fans on that message board really really liked the Rex Ryan hire though which was all through 2015
  13. The message boards? Early 2017 I still remember that well actually. Usually anyone poster with a start date here of March 2017 was a transfer such as yours truly.
  14. Madonna. The whole Catholic imagery thing I always found real sexy a great song and I looked up to her as like this older goddess when this song and music video came out
  15. Her peak popularity was before my time but watching this clip I see why so many guys would have loved her. And that tight pink spandex outfit! Nostalgic and hot
  16. I def remember the IMDB website and message boards in the early 2000s..... I used to spend a lot of time on that site and reading them message boards about certain movies, tv shows, actors, singers, etc..... Those message boards don't exist anymore and yah I hardly ever visit that site anymore. When best friend and I from high school finished college YouTube was just starting out. And we were both like thank god this wasn't around in our college years. We would have for sure flunked out for how much time we would have been distracted!
  17. A very sort of off season thread I realize. The other thread about fandom pre Josh Allen made me think of too how following the Bills or really a lot of things changed over the years. In the 90s and I think even the 2000s the teams official site seemed to be where it was at. After the old BBMB got cut off very abruptly I really don’t look at Buffalobills.com much at all. I thinks its still a source for tickets but I’m not sure how much use it still gets.
  18. I haven’t checked out the Bills part of Reddit but yeah sites like this feel a lot more personal if you will.
  19. Another solid effort by the Pacers. They are very much in the drivers seat now. While I still think the Cavs choked as well against the Pacers, I mean the team won 64 games in the regular season...... Indiana is no doubt a very good team
  20. I liked them as well in the Starks/Oakley/Mason/Ewing era. Once they moved on from Starks and Oakley it kinda wasn't the same but yeah once Ewing and then Van Gundy left I more did as well. Then I just became for the most part disinterested in the NBA. If anything today I was laughing at the results the other night and enjoyed the nostalgia of the Pacers comeback. But I always knew for the most part Bills fans were still fiercely loyal during the drought years. It just wasn't the visual picture I had in my head for the Knicks during the last 20 or so years.
  21. I kind of thought he retired when he stopped doing all the MSG shows he put on. I know he had a real bad motorcycle accident in the 80s and I think a boxer when he was younger. That coupled with a lifetime of the rock and roll lifestyle might have caught up to him 😕
  22. The flip side to that is the drought years would make you appreciate more what we see today
