Yeah. To me I think a lot of it is they lost the playoff spot to the Reds vs the Phillies. I've been to Cincy to see a Reds game and they had a cool museum there dedicated to the history of the team. They had 4,000 plus baseballs on display for Pete's hits in his career. Was a nice experience overall. Losing to the Phillies just I think would be a lot more painful. Plus the team greatly to me overachieved last year as you said. This year felt like it balanced it out a little. That being said Stearns will be my #1 target as well I will be most critical of going forward. He has to re sign Big Pete and Diaz this offseason.

I think that turned me on from them in the late 90s… kids at school listening to them and thinking their hood. Today though in my early 40s I can appreciate the sound and rawness of the lyrics. Since I don't follow college football much I'm really not much interested in the draft. I mean and I remember thinking EJ Manuel was a good choice at the time. So yeah that was where I kind of stopped following all together and making judgments based on the picks. Still the Bills were in the market for a QB that draft and it was even at the time one thought of as one of the hottest drafts for QB's ever. It was the last draft I remember watching most the 1st round of.

I could believe that. I'll never forget in high school the upper class man who had the locker above me had his whole locker decked out and tagged with Wu Tang stuff everywhere. And this kid was like super athletic and super super smart. Most other kids there had naked or half naked chick pictures in their lockers. lol Makes me even more impressed with that kid today. I never really started exploring their albums until recently. I like that their lyrics are raw without feeling overly political.

I think similar to the Nats the Pirates will give a good effort against the Reds. While their next series against the Brewers seems hard…. I think the Brewers will have it all rapped up then and won’t really be trying Yeah gotta win out

I never started listening to their albums until recently. in high school (late 90s) lots of kids used to like them where I went too school. Even had Wu Gear a number of them. I thought it was ironic as well it was a pretty suburban school I went too. I saw their music then largely as too in your face and hood if you will. But over the years on his own Method Man seemed a pretty good and funny guy what I learned about him. So yeah digging into their catalogue, I can definitely listen to it. Not a huge fan but I can f with it so to speak.

But if you're even giving a team down 2 a chance to score with say 2 minutes left...... odds are even the average team will. I could see going forward play calling being affected

I agree they were very in the moments plays.... at the same time though with more and more analysis and probabilities going into these games... it wouldn't surprise me if in the not too near future coaches and players have more general awareness of this in the moment toward the end of games
