  1. McBeane is far from infallible, but I trust them to select defensive talent. AJ is a late second round pick with early second round grades and skills. He will be a rotational DE and provides youth and power at a position of need. I can’t find fault in this pick
  2. Evans is a guy that I would really like. I think he’s overlooked, but was really good on a top 25 team last year.
  3. Only time will tell, but we cannot argue that defensive end needed an influx of power and youth and AJ is both.
  4. I made my first batch of Nashville hot chicken last weekend and I’m now trying that same recipe out on wings. I think it’s pretty much going to be the greatest thing of all time.
  5. Some people should not be allowed access to social media. Yannick is Exhibit 1A, B and C. We all know that the Jaguars organization is an abomination, in no small part because they suck at analyzing and creating a culture of accountability. More clowns per capita than Ringling Brothers.
  6. I guess that my expectations for the fourth overall pick is to absolutely dominate and last past his rookie contract. My expectations for the 11th overall pick is extremely high as well, and Maybin was a absolute bust and a horrible draft pick. They might just be a tie for greatest disappointment in drafting. My hopes for Sammy were sky high and my disappointment was equally high. I expected Maybin to have been a project as a one year wonder in college
  7. Best: Tre Worst: Flowers I looked at this as best player drafted by the Bills since 2000. If we evaluate it based on value, Kyle is the best and Sammy is the worst. But the true best player ( not going to judge Josh’s “finished product” status yet) is Tre and the worst (without getting into bums that were bums when they were drafted) was definitely Flowers.
  8. I think that, based on draft positioning as it currently stands, this is the most fair expectation. The addition of a later-round punter would put that to a minimum of three.
  9. He has done an exceptional job in Indy. Overcoming the loss of Luck to look like AFC title challengers a year later should not be overlooked. Strong drafting ( no 1st rounders last year, but solid draft and from 2018 Quenton Nelson and Darius Leonard are stars) and picking up Buckner this year with the addition of Rivers has set them up really well....on paper at least. He did, however, luck out with Reich instead of the shmuck in NE.
  10. I married into a Pats* family. My wife, thankfully, couldn’t stand them and has been supporting the Bills since we met. My father in law has been very obnoxious about every matchup every year since we met. I cannot wait for the bills to just stuff it down New Englands throat this year.
  11. We’re all here to read someone’s news about someone else’s news about the news. I don’t know what the big issue is here!
  12. I’m hoping that this pops up somewhere online as I don’t have ESPN. If anybody sees it and can post a link, that would be immensely appreciated. In this time of a complete lack of sports, this kind of stuff is helpful in passing the down times.
  13. UberEats is open for business. He could investigate opportunities there. Probably could perform his best drives ever there.
  14. I’m sure there’s a perfectly good “Sammy Watkins sucks” thread somewhere for this discussion to continue in. Doesn’t look like there’s any free agency signings happening over the past bit.
  15. I watched, and enjoyed, Greater a month or so ago. Great story. Tough to look at his brother as anyone but a bad character as that actor, Neal McDonough, always plays the bad guy
  16. I’m pretty certain that the topic was based on the quality of player and you described Sammy as sucking. If you are diverting attention from that, you failed. Judging a player by a GM’s failure is a ridiculous concept. If a crap parent raises a good kid, we don’t consider that kid as crap. The same thing applies to the GM
  17. I am willing to take a $9million prove it deal. I actually do suck, so maybe I will take less. Guys who actually need to prove it are taking $1-2.5million deals. Sammy does not suck. Draft positioning plays no bearing on a players on-field value. Is he a top 5 WR as we had expected/hoped for? Nope. Is he a top end WR2? Absolutely.
  18. Justin Herbert . He will be over-drafted. Not his fault, just the way it goes...
  19. Well, he is someone who has experience in being a well-paid turd
