  1. I think that, based on draft positioning as it currently stands, this is the most fair expectation. The addition of a later-round punter would put that to a minimum of three.
  2. He has done an exceptional job in Indy. Overcoming the loss of Luck to look like AFC title challengers a year later should not be overlooked. Strong drafting ( no 1st rounders last year, but solid draft and from 2018 Quenton Nelson and Darius Leonard are stars) and picking up Buckner this year with the addition of Rivers has set them up really well....on paper at least. He did, however, luck out with Reich instead of the shmuck in NE.
  3. I married into a Pats* family. My wife, thankfully, couldn’t stand them and has been supporting the Bills since we met. My father in law has been very obnoxious about every matchup every year since we met. I cannot wait for the bills to just stuff it down New Englands throat this year.
  4. We’re all here to read someone’s news about someone else’s news about the news. I don’t know what the big issue is here!
  5. I’m hoping that this pops up somewhere online as I don’t have ESPN. If anybody sees it and can post a link, that would be immensely appreciated. In this time of a complete lack of sports, this kind of stuff is helpful in passing the down times.
  6. UberEats is open for business. He could investigate opportunities there. Probably could perform his best drives ever there.
  7. I’m sure there’s a perfectly good “Sammy Watkins sucks” thread somewhere for this discussion to continue in. Doesn’t look like there’s any free agency signings happening over the past bit.
  8. I watched, and enjoyed, Greater a month or so ago. Great story. Tough to look at his brother as anyone but a bad character as that actor, Neal McDonough, always plays the bad guy
  9. I’m pretty certain that the topic was based on the quality of player and you described Sammy as sucking. If you are diverting attention from that, you failed. Judging a player by a GM’s failure is a ridiculous concept. If a crap parent raises a good kid, we don’t consider that kid as crap. The same thing applies to the GM
  10. I am willing to take a $9million prove it deal. I actually do suck, so maybe I will take less. Guys who actually need to prove it are taking $1-2.5million deals. Sammy does not suck. Draft positioning plays no bearing on a players on-field value. Is he a top 5 WR as we had expected/hoped for? Nope. Is he a top end WR2? Absolutely.
  11. Justin Herbert . He will be over-drafted. Not his fault, just the way it goes...
  12. Well, he is someone who has experience in being a well-paid turd
  13. I miss Beane’s face. I need a Zoom conference call video of this!
  14. But, it’s less about finance and more about their draft moves, trades and FA signings. Look back at their last three drafts and, aside from an excellent, but one armed, special teamer and part-time linebacker and his brother, they really haven’t come up with much. When you compare it with Beane, you see far more effective use of draft and financial capital from OBD. Beane was saddled with very serious financial weight when he arrived as well, but he worked around it. The Bills could fit Wilson’s contract in with the current roster and I can 100% guarantee you that this roster would kill the Hawks with Russell at QB
  15. The Hawks John Schneider seemed like a guy who could do no wrong as recently as 3 seasons ago. Man they have really blown a lot of moves recently! Tedric looked really good in 2018, showing a lot of promise.
  16. Well, we can take some solace in the fact that, no matter what they do, they will have never spent as much draft capital into a left tackle as the Texans did with Tunsil. My hope is that Dion is the guy for years to come. LT is a premier position and a good one is very hard to come by.
  17. Darby and Kendall Fuller both bring better man coverage to the Skins. I guess that we see a shift in Rivera’s philosophy?
  18. When the Bills win the Super Bowl this season, we’ll go back to being a fan base like we were in the early 90’s. I used to get grief all the time when I wore Bills gear anywhere back then. I will trade a Bowl win for the treatment we get these days, but I do like the fact that I receive a lot of positive remarks from fans of all teams about our squad these days.
  19. This one just makes so many things make so much sense....
  20. He wasn’t horrible with the Lions last year. Seems pretty in line with his performance
  21. What about his chase for 12k? It’s amazing how quickly a top end RB goes from the Belle of the Ball to washed up and discarded.
