  1. I thought he could’ve been a little bit of a find based on his Pedegree, but I haven’t seen a single report that indicates that he is. Tyrel Dodson has been getting strong feedback and it sounds like he’s going to stick if he is playing the back up mike.
  2. I am. How am I supposed to spend the first 20 minutes of my day in the bathroom reading about anything else then the media reports from training camp?
  3. After hearing that Vosean was looking slow in the scrimmage and now that he has had reduced reps due to injury....PS in his future I expect.
  4. I remember the days when @Jimmy Spagnola was amusing. Not even trying anymore. Has the ‘rona got you down Spags?
  5. So is it the 70% completion rate or the 300 yards that really gets us excited?
  6. Well, I guess I can now just go ahead and block the troll that is @Reality Check. He offers zero value to any conversation. Doesn’t even really have a mind of his own. I imagine he’s just some robot.
  7. You seem like a mature individual. Posting a video instead of giving me your actual thoughts. All the best to you and your future endeavours of meme sharing. In which part was I pathological?
  8. Two questions. The first is where was his weapon when he was shot? The second is what does the statistic around law enforcement officers being shot have to do with the way that they interact with the public? I understand that there is a great deal of fear amongst law-enforcement. Understandably so. However, doing to the public what has been done to them sure as hell is not the way that the police force was set up and cannot be the way in which it acts
  9. Hey @Reality Check I noticed that you put a laughing emoji under my comment. What was so funny about my comment that you had to laugh about it? Was it the part where somebody was shot seven times in the back or the part where I stated the truth about the police force and their use of unnecessary Force? Seeing as I come from a family of police officers, I am well aware of how they are trained and none of them have ever been trained to do that.
  10. He presented himself as attending to his children in his vehicle, turned his back and was shot 7 times. Did he resist the arrest? Yes. Is that an opportunity for a police officer to use physical force? Yes. Could they have defused the situation by having two of the officers maintain their position with the suspect in their gun sights and have the third restrain him physically and put him in cuffs? Yes.Did he deserve to be shot seven times? Any person who cares about human rights says no. If you’re not one of those, good luck to you and your future encounters with the police force. Just like citizens, the police force must be held accountable. This cannot be in question. No one is above the law and shooting an unarmed man in the back seven times sure isn’t within the law. edit: If police forces want to have respect in the community, most specifically the black and liberal left community, they better stop creating martyrs
  11. I was considering making up stuff just to make this thread more exciting as well.
  12. Honestly? You’re so out of touch. Make America Great? Make it more like Canada. You are the breathing stereotype of the people that the vast majority of Canadians think of when the word “American” is spoken. Your superiority complex is so misplaced. You are a divided land, much of it due to a misguided trust and belief in one of your two political parties. By all evidence, there is no grey area for a right wing, Republican. Consider an alternate point of view? Find common ground? Nah. Too busy being self righteous.
  13. Please go away with this topic. Mods, where are you?
  14. C’mon guys. I’m just as mad about that situation is any of you, but we need to separate what happens on the stadium wall from what happens in PPP. If you want to go in and discuss this topic, that’s the place to do it. I understand that this issue has integrated into all aspects of our lives, but it’s part of why we may need this release in the form of sport today. I have discussed this in PPP, and I’m happy to continue to do so as long as it is kept over there.
  15. I was thinking the exact same thing. Scrimmage is the highest risk form of practice. Why risk the health of the guy who has been destroying practice day in, day out? He’ll be ready. Just started. Not much to report yet.
  16. I think the statistics and evidence are in place to indicate that there is a problem in America, and in my country too, in which visible minorities are dying at the hands of the police force at a rate much greater than Caucasians. The gentleman in question was shot in the back 7 times in front of his kids. 7 times is absolute overkill and denying that is ridiculous. So, my “predetermined narrative” does seem to have some substance behind it. I understand that I have dropped into the world of the right wing, anti-BLM folk here on PPP. I should probably just go back to my liberal and generally friendlier group on the stadium wall and avoid this place. Sorry for interrupting. Continue on with your banter. Q will drop some knowledge for you later, so be sure to prepare.
  17. And what if he was unarmed and had just broken up a domestic disturbance which has been reported as well? Would that change YOUR opinion?
  18. Why don’t you watch the video and see that he didn’t have a knife? Do we all just see and hear what we want to hear and see? Fox News would like it if you did. Do we think that being shot in the back seven times is sufficient when carrying a knife and walking away from police officers? i’m not going to sit here and tell you that looting and rioting is the answer, because it’s not. However, the number of police killings of black men and women this year alone has got to create uproar in the black community. You cannot imagine how much fear you would live in unless you walk in their shoes. Despite the number of marches, protests and riots that have occurred the last three months, these cops continue to make life ending, and altering, decisions that cannot be solely attributed to the actions of the individuals being killed and seriously injured. There is either a fear or a complete lack of respect for black people among a far too sizeable portion of the police force. That has to stop.
  19. Diggs. Love Smoke And Beas, but Diggs is in a very elite club of WR’s. If he stays 4 seasons, I see no reason why he wouldn’t get 350 receptions or more. Betting on Knox or Davis right now is extremely challenging.
  20. I was thinking Trey Adams would be that guy ( I know, not a WR) from a team perspective. Not sure it’s going to happen though.
  21. Solid athlete who was probably overdrafted, but had a very nice season statistically in 2018. I recall him going to KC last year, but he didn’t work out there it seems.
