I hope that Lacey has been working hard with some trainers in the off-season. He’s coming into this one pretty cold. I know he was familiar with the defence from 2018, but I still worry when a guy like that is forced into duty right off the street.

Russell Wilson Says He’s the Best in NFL
MiltonWaddams replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That will forever be engrained in my mind. I played in a men’s basketball league at the time. One of my buddies is a big Seahawks fan and I got there and told him that they had themselves their quarterback of the future and I was really angry about the stupid move that the Bills had made and bypassed him. He has often thanked me for that. -
Russell Wilson Says He’s the Best in NFL

It’s only bragging if it’s not true, and he’s got an excellent case on that claim. I live in the PNW, and I watch that guy’s growth year in and year out. He is phenomenal on all levels of the game. -
Jonotthan Harrison signing with practice squad

Good depth signing with experience. He hasn’t shown to ever be part of a great Oline, but having a salvageable center waiting in the wings is always a good call. Morse is not exactly known for his durability. -

Apparently this Joe Burrow kid can really play. That was a pretty good series -

They’re not really a team or a Fanbase worth hating. The owner? Yeah, that guy is a little bit of a scumbag. -
Rivers may have looked the best of the four if TY had recalled how to use his hands.

I know they worked out some last week, so they are prepared, if they are confident that Bass is not a long-term solution. I highly doubt they do change things this week. He was a rookie in his first game and had one make called a miss. I don’t imagine that does great things for the psyche. He did come back and hit two though, so hopefully it’s just jitters on the second miss and I imagine that’s what the FO thinks as well.

It’s tough with the West Coast games and no backers bar in my area. Home with the fam with the game on the tube. Sub for lunch and making Nashville Hot chicken for dinner. I miss having my one away game to look forward to. -

I’m willing to do a check. Edit: I just found out why she likes Buffalo, besides our incredibly attractive fanbase. She has Polish heritage and speaks fluent Polish! How does this human exist?!!

Brian Daboll is on the hotseat starting TOMORROW
MiltonWaddams replied to Penfield45's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
When you give the offensive coordinator full control of that side of the ball and it doesn’t live up to expectations, you have to imagine the guy will be on the hot seat faster than most. With the arsenal that is at the Bills disposal, and the continuity on that side of the ball, playcalling is going to be as important as ever. Daboll is going to have to be much more innovative and effective than we’ve seen. -
Have You Ever Attended A Bills Home Game
MiltonWaddams replied to LB3's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Been to 8 home games, but suffered a bad winless run from 1997-2016, which should not surprise many. Been getting fortunate since. Best: Washington in 96. Darick Holmes ran for 3 tds. Coming off a loss to NE, the Bills needed a big win and got one. Lots of fun in the lot before the game with some women we knew only as “The Cookie Ladies” as they brought, you guessed it, cookies which we traded for jello shooters. Who would have guessed that those, a 12 pack and a Wegmans sub would have been such a bad combo? Worst- December 2000 vs Miami. A combination of a drunken error and a horrible loss.went to the game with 3 friends and came home with two. Got loser drunk and tossed a perfectly good cup of beer at a Fins fan 2 rows in front of me who was being especially obnoxious. Add to that a game in which the Fins outscored the Bills by 35 and you have yourself my worst Bills memory...live game-wise at least. -
Whos going to Miami next week?

Funny. I played a lot of tennis at noon in Sarasota , and Bradenton, in July and August in my youth. Bollettieri Academy (IMG now) stole perfectly good swimming time away from my childhood. -
TNF: Texans at Chiefs (-9) 8:20 NBC

Think what he’s saying, and it has validity to it, is that if you put Watson behind Dak’s oline and with his receivers, you have a superior quarterback. I think that guys like Russell Wilson need to be ranked even higher because of what they’ve had to overcome. It’s a fair statement.
