Apologies. I misunderstood that part. I took it as who was going to replace Nsekhe’s active roster spot. Bates being most-often inactive this season but on the roster made him the logical choice from that perspective.

Bates and Boettger are known commodities, but Seantrel has actually been a starter in the league. Worth a look.

When the announcers were talking about how they didn’t feel that they should be playing the hurry up offense in the fourth quarter when they were up by 10 points, all I was thinking was “If they want to go down there and score and finally go ahead and step on a teams throat when they have them down then why the hell wouldn’t they be doing the hurry up offense?”. I wasn’t on the game thread, but assume that was talked about. It was good to see and a pure show of aggression.

Agreed. I think a lot of people forget that there are three aspects to a football team and that special teams is actually pretty darn key. I wish that Duke and/or TJ were more effective on special teams in order to get them on to the game day roster, but they aren’t and you need to have players to play special teams and do it effectively.
