  1. I’m pretty sure he thought that he had a free play there. Not an excuse, as he has to know better, but that was a pretty blatant offside
  2. Sometimes Daboll gets too imaginative, Sometimes he goes way too vanilla. That one right there was as vanilla as it gets and way too easy to read. A play action with less than a yard would have definitely been the call based on the way they’ve been moving the ball with Gore.
  3. At no point did the defence play as well as they have this year during the entirety of last season. This year there is a much greater deal of evidence that they can achieve more as a unit. And thus the disappointment for us as fans is more sizeable
  4. The run defense you mean? Pretty tough to grade the passing D, when there is only eight passes thrown. The run D has a lot to work on. 100 yards to Adrian Peterson is no highlight
  5. I actually said this exact thing if you read to the bottom of my post. Just saying…
  6. Perhaps I should’ve just insinuated that the Redskins were not our natural enemies. Patriots seem more apropos
  7. To be fair, the Buffalo’s really should be seeking revenge against the white man. I don’t recall any tales of Native Americans shooting Buffalo out of trains and leaving them to waste. Just saying....
  8. The screen passes are definitely an issue, but McCaffrey is used in so many ways out of the backfield and split out wide. Letting the best player for YAC get the ball as much as possible is just smart. So far, that has been Singletary.
  9. If this is the truth, we should all worry about the Bills FO. Putting a second rate player on the team, no matter the human element, is inexcusable if done so based upon sentiment. The Pegulas have plenty of money to pay for medical bills and could absolutely have taken care of Peko’s wife if he was on the PS. Peko was on the game-day roster each week he was on the team. He was on there because McD and Frazier wanted him to be.
  10. I’m the Bills fan that became one at 9 years old and shared it in powerful bond with my father. I’m the Bills fan that persevered through 4 Super Bowl losses and the friends and family that have never let that go. I’m the Bills fan that moves across the country, and a different country than the team is located at that, yet still makes it to at least one game per year. I’m the Bills fan that rewatches wins and losses to analyze players and plays so I see it through unbiased and informed eyes and don’t come on TBD and spout uneducated nonsense. I’m the Bills fans whose two young daughters know that the only team that matters is the Bills and they both let my Pats fan father-in-law know it at every opportunity. What type of fan am I? I’m a Bills fan and I let the world know it every chance I get.
  11. Where’s @mead107. He needs to spend those meadcoins he’s been hoarding! Get it done!
  12. There was a time when I hated Belichik’s press conferences. Realizing that what he was doing was not providing an ounce of billboard material or a bit of insight into his game plans changed my whole perspective. That is 100% the way in which you handle the media sustainably. McD did slip up here and we should hope he learns from it.
  13. I agree that if a trade were to come available that is a positive, long-term deal, that should be explored. That being said, if this is a trade for a guy like Green who is a one-year rental, then it doesn’t really make sense. This team is not built to be short term. Players like Oliver, Edmunds and Allen were drafted to be long term pieces. With the depth at wide receiver and defensive tackle in the 2020 draft being as good as it is, trading a high draft pick for a short term piece is ridiculous.
  14. I rewatched the game last night from Sunday. I am very well aware that this is a horrible example of a game plan, but the number of times players would be open and Josh would be following his reads to not see them has to be solely placed on the way that Daboll is running the play. While your statement that the team needs more talent is 100% accurate, if we just bring in talent to the scheme, that is hardly an answer. Daboll needs to be better or he needs to go
  15. Like so many of us have alluded to, what is holding this team back has a lot to do with scheme and not talent. Daboll was a pre-season hot name in the coaching ranks. Based on what this offense has produced, there is no chance that he is even remotely a hot name now.
  16. The silence is deafening. I’m on the Derek Wolfe train as he fills a need on the field and brings leadership as well. That and I can’t see him costing as much as bigger names like Miller that are being thrown about.
  17. I’ve been inside some haunches, but my insides never have had hunches.
  18. Skipped reading 5 pages to mention Chris Godwin. Definitely a guy worth trading for
  19. Yes, and while you’re at it bring back ‘92 Jim Kelly to run our offense. I used to smoke a little bit at lunch when I was in my late teens as well.
  20. Josh’s interceptions are now both a problem and solution?
