  1. It was ugly all around. Biden had nothing of substance to say and Trump interrupted way too much. Trump didnt make a concrete statement against white supremacy and Biden admitted that he was not implementing the green new deal(the lefts only concrete plan over the last four years) which will lose a lot of the extreme left. I think that both probably lost votes tonight, it is a matter of who lost more. For me personally I am undecided between Trump and Jorgenson only because I do not want the the far left running anything, but i do not feel good about the choices at all.
  2. Good 1) Allen 2) Davis 3) Williams at RT and Ford at Guard DIsappointment 1) Edmunds 2) White 3) Pass rush One thing that I was noticing is that it is not just Buffalo and that defenses across the board are giving up large amount of points so far. I wonder how much of it has to do with the unusual circumstances of the season?
  3. I would not hate this. Allen and Darnold train together and are friends so it might be a good situation for both. A change of scenery might save Darnolds career and it would likely be an upgrade over Barkley for Buffalo
  4. If anyone wants to feel better, go to the Jets message board. It reminds me of the Bills boards about ten years ago. Quotes include "Start Flacco", "Darnold is worse than Sanchez", "Thursday's game against denver is for the #1 draft pick" and my personal favorite "I wish we had Rex Ryan again". Really helps with perspective.
  5. I am seeing this in a better light than I was right after the game. We are 3-0 and beat a team that was in the superbowl two years ago. This was a game that could have been a disaster but they found away to win and Allen brought them back like a star QB. I am still a little worried about the defense with the teams that we must play this year, but hopefully this was more the Rams having a good offense than Buffalo having a bad Defense.
  6. Not me, I am happy to see the Bills at 3-0 and think that they are a contender. I just saw some things that concerned me.
  7. Meanwhile, the Jets are off to a good start in their quest for Trevor Lawrence with a Darnold pick six.
  8. Buffalo is lucky to win this. Hopefully the coaching learns from their mistakes before it costs them.
  9. Wow, we got lucky. Buffalo needs to clean things up before their more challenging games happen
  10. I also will admit that I was not on board at first. I remember watching him on TV in college in that infamous Wyoming vs Iowa st game in college. I honestly knew almost nothing about him and he turned it over multiple times, they talked about him being a first round prospect. I remember laughing and saying to my friends watching with me, "great, watch the Bills pick this guy". I was resigned to another bust when he was picked but I gave him a chance. Even then, I truly thought that at best it would be a project that took years. He has exceeded my expectations from the beginning when playing and I am proud to say that I was 100 percent wrong
  11. 600 yards next week or it's Barkley time
  12. Miami's offense is just good enough to exploit the loss in linebackers, so I do not think that this will be easy. Miami keeps it close, but Buffalo pulls ahead in the 4th quarter of a game that will be high scoring. Buffalo 38-27
  13. I like who we have now at wide receiver, but he was the one that I do not think that we should have let go. He played well when he was here but seems to fit better on LA with the Rams. Nothing but respect for him and I am glad to see him do well(expect for in week 3).
  14. What I like about this team is that they had that game in their control the entire time despite a good amount of missed opportunities and mistakes. If they can clean things up, they will be a true contender this year.
  15. I dont know where to begin since I have seen nothing from either team since last year. I am going predict that Buffalo comes out of the gate roaring followed by the Jets getting momentum later in the first half and keeping the game close until the 4th where Buffalo pulls ahead and wins. 23-13 Bills
  16. Singletary in the 4th rd in one league(rb heavy league), none on the other. Allen is a poor man's Lamar Jackson for fantasy and I would have snagged him in both, but he went a lot earlier than I expected. Hunt was another consideration, but people were reaching for him. I like Diggs, Brown and Beasley in real life, but in fantasy with the depth at WR, they dont seem to be any more than plug in plays.
  17. Regarding UDFA's, unless we sign Turk, I think that the team is deep enough where I doubt anyone that we signed makes it farther than the practice squad
  18. Good thing this is football and not a track meet.
  19. Ladies and gentleman, meet the guy who will be the most popular player on the bills message boards for the next three years.
  20. Its possible, but I am seeing more of an Aaron Schobel or Phil Hansen where they are good but not elite. I always felt bad for Kelsay. He took a lot of heat that should have been reserved for the ownership at the time. Kelsay would have been a perfectly acceptable rotational defensive lineman that was used in run stopping situations. Unfortunately the lack of appeal to free agents at the time and the penny pinching of Ralph Wilson resulted in a lack of talent and as a result the franchise paying and marketing Kelsay as if he was the face of the defense and a top tier defensive end. Of course, the fans didn't buy it and when the defense would get gashed for 30 or 40 points, Kelsay was an easy target and scapegoat. Kelsay would have looked better if he was the third or fourth best defensive end on a team instead of the best or second best one. Nice guy and good team player, just put in a bad position.
  21. My biggest problem with this is the extremely condescending and hostile reaction to any one who dares to question staying inside indefinitely on any level. Take a look at all of the posts on this thread and you will see that nearly all of the ones that are rude or sarcastic and coming from that side of the argument. They assume that anyone who questions some of the restrictions is thinking that it is a hoax or not following guidelines and that is not the case most of the time. That would be like me assuming that everyone on the other side just wants a two year paid vacation on the government's dime(which would also be wrong.). The reality is that this is a scary unprecedented in our time situation and that every has had major changes in their life over the last six weeks. No one know for sure what will happen and there is no answer that is not going to result in many lives being negatively impacted or ended. I have social distanced since march 12th, I wear masks when I go out, there are a lot of people that i care about that I have not seen in weeks. When I make my statements, I am not disregarding that danger of COVID 19 or saying that everyone should be out tomorrow. Even in the best case scenario it will take weeks to get things up and running. Keep in mind though that every day that people are inside, that is resulting in suicides, overdoses and people having serious health issues from procedures that were put off. Adding to that, months or years of this would turn the economy upside down, put us in danger of food shortages and eventually get people in a situation where they are losing their homes. There is going to be a point down the road where we have to look and ask if more people are being hurt by other factors staying inside that what would have happened if we had opened things up. It is not an easy choice, and it is not as black and white as some people seem to think. There are many legitimate scientists and doctors out there who do not agree with the lock down going as long as it has. The original cause of this thread was regarding the drafted players having family and friends over. I agree that it would be foolish to throw a huge party in a house, but I had also pointed out that we do not know what happened behind the scenes. Some states have looser guidelines and 8 or 9 people in a house may not violate that. It is also very possible that these people planned ahead or tested before. Unfortunately, too many either were judgemental ("what kind of flowers to you want for your loved ones funeral?") or took the other extreme and acted like it wasn't a factor at all. The bright side for both of us is that there was the draft over the last two days and that there is more draft today. I am sure that all of us who posted here who are Bills fans and football fans were able to enjoying watching some sport related again. I hope that things are back to the point where they can do the games this year and that we are all able to enjoy a Bills super bowl run.
  22. I have followed the guidelines in my area since early March so I am not disregarding common sense. I am talking long term. Plain and simple, this lockdown is not economically or socially sustainable over a course of months or years and all the fear mongering in the world is not going to change that. You can choose to live in fear if you would like. Have a great night.
  23. I completely agree, and know of a couple people in the healthcare industry that told me their hospitals are often at a fraction of capacity. I was referring to the person with the "citation needed" comment
  24. Yeah, but based on the nature of their posts, I am going to guess that if it is not from CNN or snopes, they probably wont accept it as valid.
  25. This link reminds me of how any COVID 19 discussion ends up being https://babylonbee.com/news/infographic-common-covid-19-talking-points-and-what-they-actually-mean
