  1. It's silly when they don't call it and he literally rips the jersey on the front (which I believe front is still a horsecollar) and pulls the back and swings him around. I thought we were protecting the QB? Intentional grounding, the timeout penalty and the Slay grab. Even the final play of the game both Guards moved early. Honestly I think the Kelce false starts were a couple makeup calls to make it look less lopsided. If Hochuli gets a playoff game after this debacle I will know the NFL is not on the up and up.
  2. I'm not on that train yet because he adds so much quality to this organization. The major (non-emotional response) issue I see is he has to figure out the close games. He at worst has us in every game till the last drive. It's the offense can't make one more throw or the defense can't make one more stop that is the downfall of the 6-6 team. BTW we would have been ecstatic to be .500 this late in the season before McDermott so he definitely has raised the bar.
  3. You aren't "putting this team away". It is a dogfight
  4. Is there a manual to show what is the coaches fault or do we just assume everything bad is the coach and everything good is the players?
  5. Hey the Chiefs are losing 7-0 to the Raiders. They are so undisciplined. They need to replace Reid today
  6. Man some people turn on McDermott fast after being down by 7 to the top team in the league and a sure drop of a TD by someone not named McDermott
  7. Usually hands to the face actually has to touch the face
  8. I think guys like that need to be given a chance to figure it out on Sundays. Generally that's not an option when you have a perennial playoff team but it looks like the talent for the most part is there.
  9. I'm sorry I'm sick of the argument that full time officials solve the problem. Thats like saying to the person that made your drink all wrong at starbucks hey you're only part time so we can't possibly expect you to do your job.
  10. This solves absolutely none of the issues with refs other than pay
  11. What about intentional grounding? Also would love for tv commentators to not add their opinion as much as they do and relay it as fact.
  12. The thing that bothered me most of the offense before this week was Gabe Davis. His skills didn't see to disappear as much as he always seemed to be in the wrong position. For example the random Intentional grounding from a couple of games ago. I would even say the INT that went through his hands he didn't seem to be where he needed. Do you believe that's on Josh, Gabe or Dorsey? I don't remember him having this same issue two years ago.
  13. What about Benford and Bernard. They are looking like good picks
  14. My issues with Davis is he is never in the right spot this year.
  15. Since he will be starting Sunday not sure I would agree Don't get why people actually think this is a thing. Micah and Poyer look like they are playing well especially Micah.
  16. My point is they don't become Allpros right away. They take a couple of years. Benford and Bernard will be there. I really do hope you don't think Whaley had anything to do with that last draft. If he did do you think he wouldn't have a job in the league right now? Also you don't just drop a highly successful coach without a good reason.
  17. If you are talking about upper tier players like All Pros in the first few years drafted I would say yes. Those guys are usually only at the top of the draft. Also Whaley had nothing to do with Tre White or Matt Milano. That's not his style, that's all McDermott. If you doubt that look at the rest of Whaley's drafts Sounds like Andy Reid in Philly...
  18. I'm not sure what this in reference to. Basham was not an awful pick. He was a second round pick that most thought had a very strong game. Humphrey wasn't a can't miss plus we didn't need a second Center
  19. It's crazy to think not one of the losses this year was even by a TD. A little bit more from this team every week leads to an undefeated Bills.
  20. How many top 15 picks has he had? It's very hard to get those type of players without getting a top draft pick. If you do it generally has to be a development like Milano which takes some time. I think last year was the first year he was able to draft an obvious talent like Kincaid in the first.
