  1. Allen was definitely a big part of the problem last night. As far as the roster, it looked much better when Strong was in the game before getting injured. Unfortunately Tre is always behind receivers and it is hurting us. The Dline actual looked decent last night. As far as wide open receivers whether it's coaching or the players they are just not getting open unless you are Kincaid or Shakir or maybe Palmer. If you want to talk about those other teams Diggs worked hard against us to get open, London is a stud and gets open. Let's not chalk this up to scheme, it's individual effort and losing Kincaid last night was huge, probably the difference between winning and losing.
  2. I think a good comp is Dawson. He will show up every now and again with a great play but never consistent. It's maddening. They hold these RBs most of the time but like last night one play of 80 yards is where Robinson got over half of his yards. What happens on that one play where they can't stop the guy, it happens so much.
  3. Don't let Allen of the hook, he was not good last night. With that being said he literally had no one to throw the ball to after Palmer went down other than Shakir. I fault Brady for not pivoting earlier. Coleman and Shavers did not win one on one battles and Coleman needs to be much better or shown the door. The defense I'm not sure what is expected by Babich. The backend right now is a hot mess. The DBs started looking solid with Benford and Strong and haven't looked the same with White. He is consistently behind players and that won't work. Safety play has been horrible with plays made by Rapp but then the next play he injures one of our own. We can't keep LBs healthy and that is becoming a huge problem. Shaq Thompson playing was probably one of the best things going on last night. This defense won't get better unless they cut bait with both Safetys. McDerm's big fault is he thinks he can help the DBs and that Hyde and young Poyer are roaming it and that is just not the case. Also I think this is the first time I have said this but mix in some blitz packages with base defense right away. Overreaction is that we need wholesale changes at 4-2 but that backend has been an issue that needs to be addressed.
  4. Part of the issue last night was Allen. I think the big issue now is to look at the training staff. This injury list is becoming a big issue. This is NOT a playoff team without McDermott. Allen is great but no line and he would be garbage.
  5. Could easily be undefeated right now too with quite a few injuries on defense. Everybody eats doesn't rely as much on a player taking a night off. It's cute that Diggs had a great game against us but man I wish we had that fire in the playoffs. His pregame interview was absolutely disgusting.
  6. I would agree but the Bills were missing a lot on defense. Heck the Ravens are getting crushed and they blame missing keys defensive players. I think Strong will end up being the biggest loss, he's a baller. But half a game of Milano was a tease of how good he is but always injured.
  7. By far not the worst game officiating but not the best. Bills did not play as well as they could but it didn't help with so many flags on offense.
  8. In all fairness the Roughing calls especially on Cooks run were too obvious. Holds are more debatable
  9. The difference is Diggs has the potential to make a difference but he just doesn't care unless it serves him.
  10. This is Diggs. Can get up for revenge but will never win a super bowl because not consistent
  11. He didn't want to be here and he did what he did in Minnesota, whined his way out
  12. If he stays out of trouble and uninjured...
  13. Is that why he ran in the middle of the snap. Don't think I have ever seen something so silly
  14. Probably going to be a safety and we are fairly healthy there It's possible we don't activate the suspended guys or replace practice squad DTs
  15. I'm wondering how much more patience the Jets will have with Aaron Glenn. I know it's his first year but man do they look overmatched every week. Also Titans coach Callahan
  16. Oliver? He was beast in the game he played. Him and Bosa looked like a good combo Also those hard on White. He has been in great position except for that crosser last game. He has never been a speed guy and he has been through a few major surgeries but he is a very smart player. He isn't what he used to be but certainly I would take him over many others in the league.
  17. Would McDermott be wrong on waisting a challenge when we need them later. Part of challenging is understanding the necessity in the moment of the game. Momentum shifts and crucial plays.
  18. Strong has played better than I thought. I would be curious if they move him to safety after Hairston returns. He's a very heady player and the type that I think would excel at Safety. How good is that draft class going to look at the bottom of it. With Strong, Walker and Hawes. Now we need Landon Jackson and Hairston to step into their roles.
