If I were trying to get other teams believing I'm going to draft a CB at 25 I wouldn't sign one. I get more of a feeling the first round pick is not a CB
Is Miami really a concern. You can have Hill on the team but who is going to throw the ball to him. Why would Hill be easily traded if he wasn't easily replaceable?
It's less money and 5th round picks for the most part are in no mans land. 6th and 7th at this point are developmental and can probably be stashed in PS, 5th might be poached by another team.
Man that is quite a list. With what we gave up for Watkins I would put him in the conversation but ultimately if your 4th overall pick was supposed to be your future LT and he was serviceable at Guard, he would be the one I would pick. That Williams pick changed the trajectory of the franchise.
I was absolutely love Hall here but realistically they can't settle on one guy until the 24 picks before them are selected. Just too many variables...
They have to have a trade partner and others probably see the talent too
We have a Pro Bowl CB coming back before the year starts. Not sure why everyone is worried about it. Dane and Tre will be just as good as Levi and Tre. If he isn't ready McDerm can figure it out. Cam Lewis is next man up. We don't need a 1st round pick to fill the gap. I believe we will draft a CB just not convinced it's first. If Devin Lloyd is there at 25 don't you kind of have to take him? If I know anything Beane will stay true to his draft board. We are not reaching for a CB just because.
I'm good with that. People are freaking out about losing a UDFA.
What does it matter? If they truly tanked they are hedging bets on teams not watching them and lost revenue on being able to draft a player that might help the franchise...
I agree. I hope they get him
Give me James Mitchell from Virginia Tech. He is a stud that got injured last year and would have been a first or second round pick. Could probably get him in 4th or 5th range
