I think having him as the swing would be a mistake and my guess is that he’s heading to 4 week IR. Who do you think will dress & be our swing? Until Brown is ready, do you see a path for Andersen to make the 53? If not, the PS?

Can any of these guys block (excluding back), because the emphasis should be on returns, not coverage. Shackling Bass & Araiza, then ‘fixing’ the self-created problem by rostering a bunch of coverage ‘studs’ is nuts. If Bass and Araiza use their big boom legs and put it out of the end zone then the Coverage units can run down there like seconds in a Monty Python skit. Who’d care? Focus on the Return teams and make them an extension of the Offense. Use guys that have great hands, can actually block and make our Return teams an opponent’s nightmare.

I don’t think Johnson got the most out of his group and it was noticed by the Coach. Could be he just doesn’t have a good handle on how to present criticism. Did anyone notice if Oliver played today? He didn’t make it to the box score - usually they will list 0 …tackles, etc — as long as the player got out there.

Hopefully Blackshear came out of the game with a rash/splinter or a nasty blister. May need to get him on IR. I don’t think he makes it to the PS and if he does, somebody will grab him.

Players seem to like Freuland. She isn’t afraid of them and most of her competition seem awestruck. McDermott either has a sunburn or she got him to be blush at half time. Biggest smile I’ve seen from him in awhile. I like her.
